Knife isn't awesome. It can kill people. Something CANT be awesome if it's PRIMARY USE IS TO KILL PEOPLE.
ALSO, if someone can kill someone with anything, why the hell would you give them more options.
Seriously on airplanes you don't hear people go "Well we're going to let you bring that knife on the plane because you could also kill someone by strangling them so what's the point in taking it away from you?"
If you limit the ways you can kill someone, it'll be harder to kill them. And since a really large amount of deaths happen just because there's a weapon involved, not because it was all premeditated and they really wanted to kill someone...there would be less deaths if there were less weapons. So we don't need MORE weapons.

Dude, I hate the room the comp is in. I'm right between a door made up of all small windows and the back window, and I occasionally get a random fit of paranoia that some creep stalker is watching me. This is one of those times.
Only now, the stalker has a freaking WASP knife. Thanks Sibby, like I need more creepy stuff to fuel my over-active imagination. gonk
But at the same time, I kinda want one... ninja

I TOTALLY agree with Pixie. That's for serious. There is NO NEED for this. AT ALL!
If you're a hunter, and there is a big old bear rushing towards you... Ohh... I dunno... use the gun you've got in your hands? neutral
But what is the point of using an item that pretty much causes the same effect when you can have yourself a knife that will blow up the rabid animal, as it is mauling you... YEAH! MAULING! Because the beast needs to get at least one arms length from you in order for you to use it.
I just don't think it makes sense to make more weapons that can be used for something other than hunting.
I'm only mad because I KNOW! I'm going to piss off the ONE person who has one of those knifes in their back pocket... emo

I will say this... though it *works* great hunting... and killing people...
*cough*
It is really a great diving knife...
Why?
1: Guns don't typically work underwater...
2: Divers need knives in case of accidents anyways
3: If attacked, instead of the animal bleeding around you, and inciting a "feeding frenzy" of sharks... Well, it temporarily stops the bleeding (freezing), and the added volume of gas (expansion) carries whatever just had to be stabbed to the surface... where it bleeds... and the feeding frenzy happens THERE, which is hopefully away from you.
Of course, it's still a damn badass knife for... other uses... and unlike a gun, it's much more concealable, and less imposing than a gun... which makes it even more deadly, as the "victim" wouldn't know it's coming...
Still though, I should think these should be under a concealed weapons permit requirement... or something... but of course, that won't stop most people that really want one from getting one...
