Bwa ha ha ha! That was one of the most hilarious comics I've ever read! I mean ... Jesus was just so serious the entire time, and he just threw the guy in the fire. "Whoop, there you go." Oh, that brough a tear to my eye. I haven't laughed that hard since Dane Cook talked about the pickles lady at the BK drive-through. I don't see how anyone could take that seriously enough to be offended by it. It wreaks of juvenille idiocy, and because of it, it makes me laugh so very, very hard.

Well, don't worry, those are just funny due to the way the comic artist thinks ... but not all Christians think like that ...  Anyway, religious tolerance is good ... it helps you take jokes too ... imagine someone saying that Avalokitesvara is a guy dressed as a lady, Bodhidhrama is an evil Bud-this person training bald headed killers and the Maitreya Buddha is a big fat pervert that chases after young teenage girls and dumps them in a huge sack ... I don't see many Buddhist people going crazy here ... but I do hope that most Buddhists in the West wouldn't go mad and start attacking that person. sweatdrop

Yes, because we definitely pray to the Buddha. rolleyes Friends - this is the ignorance we need to dispel. Mr. Chick acts out of ignorance to Buddhism, an ignorance he doesn't wish to lose. I still love him, though. Our best teachers are our harshest critics. Never forget that.

Jack Chick is truly psychotic and he has many many rebirths to go through before someone like that will ever find Buddhism. You know, I got a good laugh out of his anti homosexual comics (of COURSE he would have them). The poor ignorant little girl in his comic proudly preached to her friends "Don't even talk to them! (The gays) Don't let anyone make you become a homosexual!" Such sadness...such sadness.

nah... i dun think i would rread it though it sounds pretty hilarious. mrgreen my extreme christians friend keeps pestering me to accept christ... ok... i respect all religion, n i hope she respect my religion n decision. n i told her that i'm commited to buddhism & that i hope that religion doesn't spoil our friendship. but she does'nt listen, i guess she just doesn't understand. sad

Bleeehh = =; Sato hates being told what religon she should be in = That comic is basicaly -telling- you. Christian faith is the -only- faith. I'm quite happy with knowing the man who gave these teachings (The Budda) was once real. There's lots of proof.
But with Jeus, there's no proof. Just books people wrote. = But whatever, I dun wanna sound like I'm preaching >w<
