Chapter two continues...(EDIT)
The party room was incredibly breathtaking! It was transformed into a night of magic! The theme, "Midnight Magic of Stars" was definitly the whole room. There were dark blue wallpapers all over the wall and baby blue lights that illuminated the whole room. A stage was set on the front center of the room. The stage looked light it was glowing and shimmering at the same time as silver and blue lights covered the stage. There were tables all around, of course all light blue and white were the color of it. As I was walking toward my friends, I noticed the traditional dancefloor set up on most parties.
"Oh wow! You guys did a...oh I can't even find the right word! This place looks amazing! The whole room looks so magical! It's like you guys actual used magic to make this place!" I exclaimed.
Jewel's eyes widened with shock, but I couldn't understand why. Then Felicity cut in," Yeah! We used magic to make this place! Yeah right! You are such a kidder Ella! So, let's talk about more important things like your outfit. Why aren't you dressed up in your custome that your mom bought you. I mean she told us the dress she got for you and we thought it would look so cute on you if you were a fairy!"
Jewel finally calmed down and gave me a hug. She always had a delayed reaction everytime they were keeping something from me. Like how Felicity always changed the subject when she didn't want a topic to come up. Well, as always I let it go. I looked at my outfit that I probably would wear to school then I spoke," Well this is my custome. I am a school girl! Besides, I don't see you guys all dressed up!"
"We haven't put on our customes yet, Jane. We'll put them on later. Oh yeah, Phoebe's gonna be here any minute. We called her to come early just in case you decided to rebel against putting on a cute outfit," said Jane.
The doorbell rang and I guess Phoebe was right on time. I followed my friends out of the room and into the main front door to meet Phoebe. When she walked through the door, the first thing she did was give me a big hug, then dragged me to my room like she already knew what she was supposed to do.
I looked at the clock knowing we didn't have much time. We only had 15 minutes left and Phoebe caught my worry. She sighed and breathed," We have enough time. All you have to do is put on your dress and leave the rest to me. It won't take long because there's not a lot to work with. Your already gorgeous!"
I sighed and paced to my walk in closet. I picked out the periwinkle dress that my mom bought me and put it on. The dress went up to my knee and pretty skimpy on the top and waist but flowy on the bottom. It had cute puffy sleeves and a nice ribbon lace on the waist line. I came out of my closet and found Phoebe holding fairy wings. She made me turn to the window so she could put on the wings. That's when I saw something odd.
"Hey Phoebes look! I think someone came early to the party! Do you who that is, talking to Jewel and Felicity?" I asked pointing to someone kinda scary. This person was wearing a black robe and had their hood on. So I couldn't tell who it was or if it was a girl or a guy.
Phoebe looked out the window and once she saw the unidentified person, she narrowed her eyes. She had an expression of fear and worry on her face. Before I could ask what's wrong, she shut me off,"Ella stay here okay? I'll be right back! Stay in your room and don't go outside. Just comb your hair or something okay?"
She closed the window and stormed downstairs. I was shocked. Phoebe wasn't the type to panic when she was having fun giving someone a makeover. Once she started her fun, there was no way that she her mood would change into gloom and doom until she was finished.
I had to check out what's going on. I don't talk about things that my friends are hiding from me but that doesn't mean I don't like to meddle. In fact, I love meddling but if everyone knew that then people would be more careful around me. I headed downstairs and out into the back yard where I saw my friends and that weird creep from my bedroom window. My backyard was pretty different because it was this breathtaking big garden. I hid behind some bushes and this big tree. I can see Jewel, Felicity, Phoebe's faces and the creep that had his or her back turned.
"Have you found the new Illusion yet?" A woman's voice asked.
"It's none of your business. Now why are you here?" answered Phoebe sharply.
The woman laughed darkly and I could tell that this woman was no party crasher. She was much worse than that...

Chapter 2 continues...
Tensions filled the night. Something was way wrong here. I didn't know who that lady was but she was creeping me out and I wasn't even talking to her. Then suddenly, a question popped up in my head. How did my friends know this woman? Plus, why was she here? I mean she couldn't be that scary just for a party like this! I mean it's not halloween! Besides my friends won't be this cruel about a prank. I obviously had more than one questions, more like millions of them. I leaned closer into the bush that I was hiding in and pushed some leave out of the way to get a better view.
"Awww...now don't be like that. We were just curious. I mean the heir is suppose to find his or her power tonight or before today ends. Who knows maybe we already found the heir and maybe the heir even found their powers already," chimed the lady.
I saw Felicity's eyes narrow. Her expression revealed anxiousness and irritation as snapped,"We know about the heir and how their supposed to find tonight or today! We also know that you haven't found them yet because you wouldn't be asking us anything! As we said before, this is none of your concern! Now leave this party will start very soon and if we find any of your kind sneaking around, then it will result in a very unpleasant fight! You woulnd't want that cuz' your way outnumbered!"
The lady glared at my friends and snarled,"Of course. Well have fun at this party!"
The lady stepped back and jumped into the air. She was way up that it seemed impossible to jump that high! I mean seriously, she was probably higher than our hedges! This wasn't the most amazing thing yet because afterwards she just dissappeared in midair! I rubbed my eyes to see if I was imagining things, but I wasn't. She was gone, just like that! Then I started to hear my friends mumbling again.
"I don't like this. She gave up too easily. It's weird that she comes here of all places to look for the heir. I mean she could have countered us at school when we're alone but she picked a time and a place where she's be at disadvantage. We already know that the heir will be in this town because their power's presence has been growing stronger. Do you think that they think that the heir will be here tonight?" asked Jewel looking at her two friends.
"It's a possibility but not a big one. We've had suspicions that the heir will be somewhere in our age group, but it's a pretty big town," retorted Felicity.
"Well the whole 8th grade student body of Peachflowers Middle School will be here tonight, so you never know. We might get lucky. But just in case, we can't risk anything happening to this party. We need to tell the security guards and the people that are checking in guest to be extra careful on making sure that who they let in is invited,"added Phoebe.
My friends headed up the front door of the house and questions ran through me. First of all, what in the world was that?! What were they talking about? The heir? The heir of what? Second of all, what were my friends talking about when they mentioned some kind of power? Last and most importantly, what was with that lady?! She was creepy and so sure of herself. Something was up! Something that my friends has been keeping from me a long time now. I wasn't gonna let it go anymore!
After giving everything a thought, I finally realized that I forgot something big. Phoebe was gonna be expecting me up at my room when she comes back! I ran to the back door which led to the kitchen. I said hi to the caterers and servers there with lots of innocence. I ran to the stairs and that's when I bumped into Phoebe!!!

Sorry for making everybody wait a while. I actually went on a short vacation and forgot to put a notice. Anyways Chapter 2 continues...
"Ow! Jeeze! Ella? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be upstairs combing your hair or something?" asked Phoebe.
"Oh...well...I was upstairs. B-b-but then I came downstairs," she stammered. Suddenly an excuse just came to her. " Ya, I got thirsty so I decided to get something to drink. So I went to the kitchen."
At first her friends seemed looked as if they were debating whether she was telling the truth or not but in the end, they just sighed and let it go.
"Ya okay. So come on! We have 10 minutes left! Felicity and Jewel, go do whatever it is you need to do. Put some last minute decorations on the party room or go get dressed. Just do something, now move! You!" she pointed at me. " Come with me!"
I saluted at Phoebe and pretended to march as if she were my commander. Felicity and Jewel couldn't help marching and Phoebe knew that I was making fun of her. She gave me a teasing glare and we headed back up to my room.
She didn't do much and it didn't take long. She just put finishing touches on my customer and put a little bit of glitter and make up on my face.
"You are so lucky to be unnaturally beautiful," teased Phoebe.
I rolled my eyes and replied, "So are you and I’m not that pretty. Well now that your done, can I see myself in the mirror now?”
“Of course! You are going to love your new look. Take a look!” she exclaimed. She took my hand and led me to my full length mirror. I gazed into the mirror and gasped in surprised. Who is that girl? It took me a minute to realize that it was me. I looked at my periwinkle dress totally complementing my fair skin. I glanced at my face and got drawn to my eyes which had metallic blue and silver eyeshadows blended together. Lastly, I looked at my brown long curly hair that went down to my waist. It looked perfect and shimmering. Not a curl out of place and was as bouncy and wavy as I’ve never seen it. What made it more perfect was the twisted strands behind my ears and each strand from both sides meeting at the back of my head and connected together with a barrette that looked exactly like the sign that was on the new journal and pen I got from the store this afternoon. I gave myself a twirl and noticed the body glittered sprinkled all over me was in different colors that matched my pretend fairy wings with its rainbowy colors. All in all, I looked…enchanting. Although, the barrette still had me intrigued.
“Where did you get this barrette? It looks kind of familiar,” I trailed off.
“You like it? Hope got it from one of her relatives and I told her that it would look perfect on you especially on your bday party. So she gave to me so I could give it to you and I was right. It looks great on you and a nice fit don’t you think?” she explained. I raised my eyebrows suspiciously because Phoebe gave away a look that meant there was so much more things hidden beneath of what she just said.
“Hmm…Well is Hope alright with that? I guess, I’ll just ask her after the party if she wants it back. Well shouldn’t you be getting ready for the party? The guests are going to arrive soon,” I said.
“No worries! I’m gonna change into my costume now,” she retorted. Phoebe headed for my walk in closet with her backpack. I looked out my window and gazed into the silent night, then I looked back at my closet door waiting for Phoebe to come out with a totally awesome, one of a kind costume that will make me speechless. Suddenly I noticed that there was a glowing light coming from behind the closet door...

Yeah I know. Hey people, NMC is finally coping with her schoolwork. Lousy homework... scream So I'll try to find the time to keep writing but I'm so thankful for my reader or readers. So please keep writing and I'll try to update this story as much as I could.
