Kate growled at the mention of the dragon. It was a meanie and it was mean. Quickly forgetting her uncle, the girl began to drag Cassi through the mess. "I show you our room," the girl explained to the poor boy. "We have purple and pink!" she continued, clambering over the boxes that had fallen and continuing down the hallway.
T'rin grimaced, and finally roused himself out of shock. "What did I forget?" He asked tiredly, having completely missed whatever Peri had been saying at the his entrance. Things had been a little chaotic.

Cassi happily trotted along after Kate. "Yay for pink!" He grinned happily and weaved his way through the boxes that the girl had knocked over prior to his arrival, leaving the adults alone.

Peri glanced over at his brother. "Kate's underwear." He repeated, toeing the box towards the man. "Like I said, she's a bit young for that kind..." He hadn't even been aware they MADE thongs that small...

Kate pointed at one of the boxes in the smaller bedroom. "Open it?" the girl suggested, not sure what was in but positive it was more interesting that Mommy and Daddy talking. Maybe they'd find something to play with.
T'rin glanced at his brother confused. Taking a look inside the box T'rin asked, "What are you talking abou-" T'rin's mouth snapped shut as a blush the same red as tomato covered his entire face. Shakily he held up a pair of...strings.. more or less and stared at it. Staring at Peri the man could only think of one thing.
"We haven't gone shopping yet."

Cassi grinned and pried open the box Kate had pointed at. He was nearly blinded as brightly colored pieces of fabric were revealed. Blinking, he picked up the top piece and realized it was a shirt. "Pretty..." It wasn't pink, but still...
Reign blushed nearly as red as T'rin. This man was weird... who put their little girl in something like that? Sure, Reign wore thongs, but she was grown... Kate was so little...

Perilas blinked at his brother. "Well, she had to get them somewhere..." Slowly, the little light above his head clicked on. "Piper!" The man was startled and a bit embarrassed. When had she gotten those?! "I'm going to kill her..." He had so not approved of this choice in clothing!

Kate nodded and grapped the shirt, scrunching it up. "Put on!" she urged, enjoying the chance to play dress up again after all this time. Eagerly she tried stuffing Cassi's head down one of the armholes.
T'rin glanced down at his hands. As if suddenly realizing what it was he was holding, the man dropped the panties and wiped his hands on his pants. Oh god... ".... We are going shopping tomorrow," the man announced to himself. His face was pale and sweating and he was sure he'd be mobbed once he got in the store but he was *not* going to let his little girl wear.. wear... *that* "No more of Piper's clothes."

Cassi grinned and squirmed about as he tried to help Kate get him dressed up. Finally, after some struggling, he had one arm and head out of the neckline and the other arm out the wrong armhole. Giggling as he looked down at the shirt, he dug through the box to find something else to put on with it.
"Shopping?" Reign perked up at the mention of her favorite activity. The man seemed a bit uncomfortable with the idea. "I could come along and help, if you'd like..." She had a feeling that the two kids were be near unseperable for the near future...

Peri grimaced a bit. "Yeah, well, I've got to go have a talk with my daughter now..." He looked like he was close to strangling the girl. "It was nice to meet you," he nodded to Reign and then left.

Kate giggled loudly and pulled the bow out of her hair. It was bright orange with pink polka dots on it, another 'gift' from Piper. Hopping over to Cassi, the girl stabbed it onto his head, being as gentle as the toddler knew how. Joining Cassi in the bucket she began to pull things out at random. "This?" She asked holding up a brilliant blue skort.
For a moment T'rin panicked as his brother left him. Alone. With a woman. His mouth worked like a fish until T'rin finally answered Reign with a timid, "Okay.." The man sat there awkwardly until his stomach gave a loud rumbled.

Cassi winced a touch as the hair bow was jabbed onto his head, but he giggled as Kate pulled out a skort and nodded. "Yeah!" He took it and pulled on the clothing before digging about for something else. After all, there was more to clothes than just shirts and skirts or shorts, right?
Reign smiled at T'rin, trying to appear harmless. "Great!" If only she knew what she was signing up for. "I'm sure Cassi will be thrilled... and it might just be a way to pry them apart for the night..." She had a feeling her future included a LOT of sleepovers...

Kate giggled and dug in again, this time reaching deep in. She reached so deep that she almost fell in, but managed to get her feet back on the floor at the last minute. Out with her came a bunch of hair ties, bracelets and scarves.
The man shivered at the smile, and the thought of going shopping with Kate...and Cassi.... Still, T'rin brightened up as he ignored his stomach for the moment in favor of what Reign said. "True," he nodded. "I think Kate will be easier if it's tomorrow instead of sometime." Much as he hated to be rude and shoo her away, he did need to get dinner, of some sort, started. "Ah.. perhaps.. we should uh.. tell them?"

Cassi nearly danced at the sight of the pretties to dress up with. "Yay!" The boy grinned happily and played with the fringed edge of one of the scarves.
Reign gave a bit of a sigh. "Yeah, I suppose so..." She wasn't exactly looking forward to it. She headed back to where the kids had disappeared to, trying not to laugh as she saw Cassi's new outfit. "Cassi, it's time to go home..." She winced as the boy looked crestfallen and quickly added, "But you'll get to see Kate tomorrow. We're going shopping together!"

The words "To go" were all it took to get Kate to suddenly cling to Cassi. Daddy cleared his throat. "Er.. yes... and uh.. Cassi will be... right next to your bed," the man added as a swift and brilliant stroke of inspiration hit him.
Kate looked suspiciously at the woman. "Mommy promise?" She asked slowly, still clutching Cassi. "Promise tomorrow?" she repeated, eyes on Reign.

Reign glanced a bit questioningly at the man, but decided to go with it. Whatever would get these two apart for the night. Cassi was clinging just as tightly to Kate as she was to him. The woman nodded at Kate. "I promise. We're going to all go shopping and we can find some pretty dresses for you to wear... New clothes all for you that didn't come from... Piper." It took her a moment to recall the girl's name, but she was fairly sure that had been it.
