Rp for Harley and Ecchymosis Harley had finally ezcaped from her father. This was the first time she was alone...well she had Jester the familar with her. So, even alone she wasn't alone. Anyway, she was away from her father and she was an adult. What could be better?
Harley just walked. "Maybe being alone isn't all that great?" Her voice rang to her familar and anyone else around.

Ecchymosis was on one of his long walks and was preoccupied with the current shade of grass, when he heard a soft voice ring out through the silence. It was late and he hadn't expected to encounter anyone, but he was delighted to be proven wrong.
The owner of the voice was a young Winiko by his standards. An adult female with one of those familiar things that followed Calidrya and Wallace around. She was quite unusual looking, with bright mulit-colored hair, and paws that seemed... well almost stitched on he would say. He watched her walk for awhile longer before revealing himself. She seemed to be some mixture of excited and nervous and it was fascinating to him. Finally, he registered what it was she had spoken aloud and smiled.
"I've always found being alone rather relaxing myself. Though, the right company makes for an engaging time as well." He nodded politely to her as he stepped out from behind the tree which had hidden him from view.

Harley looked around as someone was talking. At first she thought her familar learned to talk, but no it was an elder. Her dad was an elder, but he was very different from this one.
"Is it? I wouldn't really know. I'm normally with my dad. I'm Harley Quinn, you can call me Harley." She told him with a nod.

Ecchymosis smiled in appreciation at her name. He always found names fascinating. They could tell you so much about the individual. "It's a pleasure to meet you Harley. I am Ecchymosis, but as that is far too long and tedious to say all the time, you can just refer to me as Mo."
He walked closer to her and sat back on his haunches while flicking his long hair out of his eyes. "I never had a father. Is yours kind? Though, I suppose he must be if you spend all your time with him."

"Mo? Yeah, that is easier to say." Harley nodded. His name was rather long, but then it seemed to suit him. Being an elder and everything.
"Oh, well I guess. Nice as a demon can be. Taught me to pounce on things. His tail was always nice to bite...and his familar Scar. Jester here has learned to stay away." Harley grinned showing off her teeth which made her familar hid behind her back. "Also, he's an elder too. My mom as well."

He laughed softly. "Sounds like an excellent teacher. Jester certainly seems to think so." He nodded in amusement to the small orb hiding behind her.
The sky was beginning to get dark which reminded him that he was going to look for falling stars tonight. "Harley, would you like to look for falling stars with me? I have yet to find one but I'm constantly searching."

Harley looked at the elder then to the sky. "Falling...stars?" She hadn't ever really hard of that. Something sounded off. "Why are they falling? Can you catch them?" Now that sounded like something fun. Stars were pretty and maybe they would make nice jewels. "Sure!"

Mo grinned and looked up at the sky. "I'm not really sure actually. My human told me they were falling stars, which implies that they fell somewhere. So I keep trying to find one."
He got to his paws and stretched then flicked his tail. "I know a good tall hill where we can watch them fall and then try to figure out where they landed." He started slowly walking forward, keeping his eyes on the sky just in case.

"Okay, that sounds like the right place to watch. I hope we find one." She told Mo with a smile. She began to follow him slowing. The adult scanned the sky for the tiny lights to fall from the sky.
Jester flew behind her. He didn't want to close in case they got bored and tried to eat him.

He padded along in silence for a while. Simply listening to the sounds of the night and watching the dark sky. When they reached the hill he began the climb up and called to Harley. "It's a bit slippery on the way up, be careful!" He had tripped quite a few times before he discovered the trick of walking in a zig zag pattern, climbing the sides of the hill rather than straight up. It looked a tad silly but it kept him from slipping on the wet grass and loose rocks.

Harley watched as Mo climbed the hill. It was an odd way og doing it. So, she went the normal way. It wasn't too long before she slipped and fell.
Harley shook her head and got herself back onto her feet again. "You were right." She said as she now followed his pattern of climbing.
Jester had barely missed being flattened when she fell. So now he flew above her.

Mo checked to make sure she was okay before chuckling to himself. "Yeah, it looks strange but somehow it works." He finally reached the top and took a moment to admire the beautiful view. It was very dark, and a moonless night so the stars were plentiful and bright. He sat back on his haunches with his reflective green eyes scanning the sky, and waited for Harley to join him.

Harley thought it was a long way round, but she really didn't want to slip and fall again. It wasn't that graceful, plus she didn't like to get her fur all dirty from being stupid.
After a moment or two she was up and next to Mo. She sat down and looked to the sky. "There sure are a lot of them up there. One falling down wouldn't hurt."

Mo took notice of Harley sitting beside him and nodded thoughtfully. "I suppose it might hurt if it fell on you." He smiled at the image of being hit by a star.
He scanned the skies, attempting to not get distracted by the beauty, and instead actually search for the tell-tale streaks of white. "What do you suppose makes them fall?" He'd often pondered this question to himself, but never yet had the opportunity to discover another's opinion on the matter.
