Artess unknown11 onyx apples aren't worth it. unless your rich and have nothing better to do 2m with. Of course they're worth it. If you're filthy rich, they speed up XP gain exponentially. Spend money on a bunch of apples, use them, and you'll have a couple levels in one night because you're 1hkoing monsters you shouldn't even be training at yet. When you're competing with people in the ranks, and are a good marketer, that's worth it. And they are absolute musts at Zakum or Horntail. Thanks to Apples, a guild can now kill Zakum in about 8-30 minutes, sometimes even less. Back before Apples were around, it took them over three hours. As for Horntail, without Apples, our servers couldnt' take him down right now. As it stands, Horntail runs are as regular as Zakum runs now. Apples are the single most unbalancing item in Maple. They unbalanced things more than anything else, including White Scrolls. Unless your talking about ancient zakum runs, 3 hours is not even close. Before the apq patch, zakum runs took around 30-45min. But I still think using apples to train is worthless, considering using the money to buy godly equips.

Actually, you still can blow your item up with white scrolls. If your scroll is successful, a slot will not be taken away from your item. Since packet editing made all scrolls work and people using white scrolls, items were ridiculously godly.

I look more at how someone can hold a conversation or how they act, because when someone 12 levels higher than you runs in your map and then realizes that you outdamage them, then they proceed to stay in the map because that pisses them off... well.. that's even more childish than ksing in the first place.
Actions speak more than numbers, in my opinion. If that makes sense. o-o

Artess The people I talk to consider 150+ to be high level. If you can imagine getting to 120 in like 3 weeks, well, these are the people you're dealing with. I would have been that level myself by now, but I decided Maple wasn't for me and stopped playing. I was lvl 84 when I quit. If you think it's impossible... well, I knew a guy who went to Himes at lvl 55 as a sin, (he's 15x now.) He was in a party with priests and used Onyx Apples non-stop while training. While that might sound expensive, imagine the xp gain. Hm...
Doesn't sound like great exp to me. o_o
Himes suck, as do Doodoos and Zombies, and every monster in the 'training rage' category.
Bandwagons are gay, just like the rampant amount of Chief Bandits and Priest Bandwagons (and fourth jobs of those) running around.
Aside from that, I'm going to be one who says a professional isn't based on your level.
If you understand how to play the game, and are successful at it, you are a professional.
Is a professional golfer a professional, just because he wins so many games?
Perhaps that is how he attained his title 'Professional', but to win so many games, he would have to good, and understand the game, and a courteous person to other players.
Therefore, a professional golfer can be a professional, even before actually achieving said title worldwide.
Back to MapleStory: A low level can be a professional, or a newbie player can turn into a professional very easily.
All it takes is knowledge, courtesy, kindness, and some skill.
Knowledge of the game, courtesy towards other players (note: different from generosity), kindness towards other players (just because you're courteous doesn't make you kind), and the skill comes from actually being able to play, such as, if you can't jump attack, with a character that is capable, then that is slightly pitiful.
It's all about being a kind and respectable human being.
Not being a nerd who attains a meaningless piece of data.
