omg so true....and anyone can feel free to answer me on this, but how many ppl have had hand-checks on the band bus? we do. regularly....when we're not even doing anything. it just looks that way. and one of the most fun things to do on a band bus ride is to take pics of sleeping ppl and show them later. watch them freak out like "when did you take this pic??!?!?!?!" it's hilarious. xd

no, and one time i accualy was sleeping and my head was down past the seat and no one could see me. hand check was called and everyone looked at zack it was soooooooooooooo funny.

I love being on the bus with band people. Even on the really long rides that are hours long, bandies make it so much more fun. xD

i love bus rides with the band. its so funny. its like when hand check is called and people are sleeping and were all like WTH!? its just funny, esspeaclly when the drumline starts singing and the trumpets join in.

Okay, so we had a bus ride today. :O To adjudication...only fifteen minutes, but it was still awesome going up and coming back, mostly coming back. I sat almost aaaall the way in the back with my friends, and we were going crazy, with me screaming "CANTELOPES!".
Bus rides are fun. =D

I know what you mean about the drumline starting to sing and the trumpets join in, ugh, they are sooooooo white! Anyways, on our trip back from New York this Spring Break, My friend, a trumpet player, Andy, got his mom's lip stick and Our BD was asleep in the seat in front of him, so we decided to draw on his head! It was so funny! By the way, our BD is bald so... Heh! We have a blast on the bus if certain people are on it!

 Our bus rides are insane!! especially with the Tuba players! >.< My friend Timbrly (yes, Tim the Tuba player lol I can't make that up!) had to pee really bad cuz we'd just got done chugging 2 liter bottles of mountain dew. She asked the band director if we could stop but he said no and if she really needed to go hang he butt out the window and go lol. He was joking but she took it seriously. Next thing we knew we were being pulled over cuz we passed a police car with Tim's bare butt hanging out one of the windows! >.<

I love band bus rides!! They're so much fun. Like one time, we had a bus-wide tickle fight. LOL, and this other time, we were gonna be late for our show, so we all had to change on the bus. That wasn't as funny as the time we had to change in the middle of the street in Minneapolis. THAT was funny. 'specially when the budwiser party bus drove by. xd

The last time I went on a bus ride with my band some kid started spraying Axe all over the place, so the bus driver kicked him out.
I got some Axe in my mouth, which tasted nasty, but luckily one of the percussionists was handing out gum (without the band director knowing, of course...otherwise he would murder us.. xD

i love bus rides but at night during marching season at night they make the guys sit in the back, girls in front bc they think there gonna be somebody making out or something.... well i think its dumb

Our Bus rides are awesome!
Exapmles:
Most of the trumpets (and me) are all on the same bus add a trobone player and you've got beatboxing.
One time we had to wait for someone for like an hour because they didin't know what time it was so they weren't in the Bus. Our bus had a talent show while the other two buses just sat there. ONe of the Senoir trumpets players started singing French toast and the French Teacher sang Frosty the Snowman in French.
Also lots of fun to have Drumline... Almost always a stand up comedian in one.
Those were just a few.

we sing random songs -once we were singing the wheels on the bus...-
someone always says something hilarious -the lights go out at night someone says "this bus just got a whole lot sexier"-
on smaller trips with less people when the dance team goes we (or at least I) have random conversations with them that ends up with someone getting hurt -that's a really long story so don't ask-
people saying things that make other people mad, and the mad people come close to bashing the other person's head in
and there's a hell of a lot more stuff that goes on too...
...anything you can think of has probably happened (except very sexual stuff)
