"Well... You could say like a frog, but I would say more like a pounce." He said with a chuckle. "I tend to find myself sleeping one moment, then the next I find her gnawing on my ear." He said kind of as if he was irritated. Though, he really wasn't. He had only his sister know, since their parents left when they were old enough. He flicked his tail. "Having a tail can be a pain though... I've gotten stuck a few times on things. D;"

His ear? She voiced her question. “Your ear? Like, she was eating it?” Was she cannibalistic? Or growing in new teeth? Ambrosia winced just thinking about the growing in of teeth. Never a very good experience if you asked her. “Like what do you get your tail stuck on?” She could imagine brambles might get stuck, but that was easily taken care of. She was sure that she had a questioning look on her face. She really was quite curious.

"No.. Just chewing on it to get me to play." He said with a laugh. "Well, tree branches.... and there theres my sister who likes to pull it." He said. Sometimes it might have been easier growing up with a small tail then with a long one. But he'd never really know. He shook his head at himself. "I'm sure I'll have someone randomly coming up and grabbing it as well." Though thankfully that hadn't happened yet.
Dhiren had totally forgot about his eye and the sand issue. Though, he had yet to actually forget about the stuff he was standing on. Which would probably a good idea not to forget about since it was bad to walk on. "Do you come here often?"

She was looking at her tail, noticing how nice and clean hers was compared to his, when he asked if she came here often. “Um, no I have never been here before. I do like it though. The sand is nice and the water is really pretty.” She looked at him, and noticed how his eye looked a lot better. She had totally forgotten about it. “Your eye looks less irritated now! Does it feel better?” It was less red and it seemed to be fine.

Sand, so that's what it was. He thought as he eyed it again. Horrible stuff, but it was nice. He kneaded it with his paws for a moment and looked back at her with a smile. "yeah, it is nice, but I still don't like it much." He said with a chuckle. "Ah. My eyes are much better, thanks." He said wagging his tail a bit. He had sand stuck in it's long fur as well. He'd have troubles cleaning it out later.

She loved the sand, how soft and mushy it was. “Do you want to go swimming?” She looked over him and herself, “It might get some of the sand off.” But then again, it could also make them sandier. “And maybe after that we could build something with the sand!” She exclaimed with childish enthusiasm. She was getting so excited. She had been on the beach a couple of times, and she had seen some sand piled up in clumps to form towers! Or at least that’s what they sort of looked like.

"Sw...swiming?" he said with rather wide eyes. He'd never swam before and was sure he'd drown in it. "I... can't swim." He said simply. Water was great, but the thought of having to swim in it. Even though it had interesting creatures that he wanted to learn more about, but the getting wet part wasn't what he thought would be fun. Not one bit at all. "Build something in the sand?" that sounded rather fun, but how could someone build in this stuff. Perhaps it helped if it was wet?

Hmm, she could teach him, he considered. “Maybe I could teach you! Or maybe we can just get our paws wet?” Maybe it could be gradual, the paws then deeper. Or maybe they should just build sandcastles. “Let’s just make sand buildings!” She ran towards the water and dug some of the sand and it landed in a big pile behind her. She pushed it his way until there was a big pile of wet dark brown sand on top of the white and dry sand. “Now, let’s build!”

Dhiren was always up for a bit of learning, but he wasn't sure about this one. Though, at least she knew how to swim, if anything went wrong she could hall his fat butt out of the water. "I guess, but as long as we don't go too far. I hear there's mean creatures that like to eat things in that." He pointed to the water with wide eyes.

”So you want to swim?” If he didn’t want to, they could just stare at the beach. “Its okay, we don’t have too. There are some things in the ocean that I don’t know about, but I personally haven’t run into any of them.” She had only seen some things on the beach, like these things that look like bugs that walked sideways. They had pinchers, so she chose to stay away from those. What else could be out there, she didn’t know.

"Well, water isn't too bad" he said with a smile. Though the water sure smelled different the other water. It was something he could investigate on while swimming. "It doesn't hurt, does it. I mean can you open your eyes in the water?" He asked. He knew that fresh water didn't hurt, but this other water might. His tail flicked about as if it was wagging, but not quite.

She gave him a blank stare, never really haven given any thought to it. “I don’t know. I went swimming once but never opened my eyes.” A fear she had. For some reason she thought that the water would go into her eyes, then into her head. And personally, she didn’t want her brain to learn to swim. She twitched her at the thought, not liking it at all.

He didn't like that answer, but figured he had enough pain for one day and would have to resist trying to open them until he was sure he knew he could see in it. Of course, he'd have to test it out another day, perhaps when no one was there so they wouldn't make fun of him. "Well, I guess I don't have to stick my head under water." It made him feel kind of disappointed with hearing himself say that, but he didn't show it to the other. He ware a smile and looked down at the ground trying to figure out how he was going to walk with out falling in this stuff. Though, he could wait for her to do it, then copy her movements. He looked at her and smiled again. "Ladies first" he said politely

She tilted her head in thought then said in a duh kind of way, “You could just keep your eyes closed and go under water. Not to difficult to get back up. You can learn how to float!” She exclaimed then ran over the sand in a flash and jumped into the waves. The water hit her paws first then the rest crashed into the water, and she almost let out the breath that she was desperately trying to hold. The water was cold, but nothing she couldn’t get used to.

He eyed her for a moment. It would be hard not to open his eyes under water, she wouldn't understand. But he smiled and didn't say anything to that except "Nah. I'll be fine." He said with a laugh. He can't control some urges and that was one of them. Wanting to investigate everything. He slowly walked, getting more a hang of how the sand moved under him. he didn't like it, yet it felt nice to step. Perhaps would be good for a toilet or something. (Cat litter yo) By the time he got to the water, the sand seemed to harden as it got wet. What was strange, yet easier to walk on. He liked that. The water was cold on his feet, but he still went in it. Slowly and carefully, and not that far. Eyes only on the water, and nothing else. Seeing if anything was to come out from the sand or something. Though there wasn't anything... Just water... and white foam from the water.
