Wolves have a strong passion for the Hunt, and their guardian- the Moon. Their sacred howls remind us that our brothers once ran with us, our ancestors....this is why they flood in our dreams. I can feel their voices when the wind caresses me.... I am one of Them.

Wolves are the most noble beings, they care for their pack and will fight for it until the end. We have a lot to learn from them. Their eyes can tell so much they also suffer pain, feel happyness, sadness. Their howl pierces deeply in my soul each time I hear one I suddenly howl too. I believe in what our native americans belive: guardian animals spirits for I have dreamt with a pack of wolves and touched one gray wolf in my dream so real the feel of the skin and the look in its eyes. In dreams I have ran with wolves through cold forests and felt the cold snow in my paws.

I think I have or feel a deep connection to wolves or maybe in another life time I was a wolf...

When you are out hunting they say never look into a wild animals eyes. I was deer hunting and a wolf walked by my blind with her pups, a male wasnt far off. I had a major sence of calm and placidity. I took off my mask and set down my gun and i made eye conact with the wolf. The male was kind o growling at me but soon after he calmed. I took my dear off and set it on the ground and drove a few feet away. I just watched them and fell in love with wolves. After that my mom was p*ssed at me because i attracted wolves into our back field XD. I was kinda ticked that my dad and uncles shot shotgunz in the air at them...I made sure they did not fire at them.

I love wolves. They are beautiful and intelligent. They follow their nature, even when it seems brutal. I also love the structure that creates a strong family that takes care of each other.

I love wolves very much. I think back when I was little, and have come to realize that I have always loved wolves. I am part American Indian and have followed the spiritual beliefs which have allowed me to not have arrogance against the wolves and join many of you as a wolf lover. I feel a very deep connection with them(like many of you) and in a way, get insulted every time I see a picture of an angered wolf in a school text book. Wolves are not always like that and there are plenty of pictures without them snarling, so I ask myself, why do they put those pictures there?, and my answer is the government. They want us to fear them, so we will hunt them. I have heard that bush wants to allow open season on the wolves, meaning that they would no longer be protected. When I was told this, I became very upset. I feel as if I am one of them, but yet separate from them. All I know is that we are in human form and that we need to do all we can to protect our other family, the wolves. Please write what you feel about what I have said.

I myself love wolves due to a personal experiences. My grandparents own wolves, those of which are not caged and have plenty of land to run around on, and when I was very small, maybe 2-4?, I managed my way onto the wolves' area. Frankly, I was scared shitless and wondered what-the-hell I was doing in there. But for some odd reason, as I was curled up and whimpering, the pack's alpha-male came over and nudged me. I was rather surprised to later on learn that an action like that was far from normal when it came to the alpha-male, whose name was Cody. And there was another wolf,named Shanook,who literally took me in as his pup. Though, I can't recall many memories with him as it happened when I was still very young. My parents tell me that I used to crawl into Shanook's sleeping area and when my parents came around he'd growl at them and even bit one of my parents when they tried to get to me. There was even a time when Shanook bathed me. But these experiences are not the only reason I love wolves. They're a very majestic canine, intelligent, fierce, and bonded.

Let's see.... where do I start? I love wolves because they are loyal, travel in packs and are nothing like humans. Wolves are aslo very intellligent and graceful creatures. Plus, they are fierce and strong and I personally like them and werewolves way better than vampires. Who hasnt wondered how cool it would be to atleast be part werewolf?

I like wolves for basically the same reasons other people are saying. They're a beautiful species, have a fascinating way of life, show intelligence and emotions, and are just over all cool. (: Though wolves may not be my all time favorite species, they're near the top of my list. I'm having fun now studying their anatomy and drawing them.

Now 'fierce' isn't how I'd describe them, only because I can't overlook the bada** hyenas. (;

I'm not sure what I like most about wolves. I've always thought they were "nice" but lately i've become more and more inclined to appreciate animals in general. If I had to pull a reason off of the top of my head, it would be that wolves are to be respected.

this is going to be big

I absolutely love wolves. i had the joy of living with one for about 12 years before he died of lymphatic cancer... very very sad, he couldn't keep any food down and starved in the end. crying He (Bo seafus the wonder wolf-or BO for short) was like my dad in a way since i didn't get to know my real dad till i was ten. he was very smart and a Houdini of sorts for his many escapes from various situations. Bo was kind and loving, and was always by my side when i was sick.... i've thought about it and i would say that he played at least 4 different roles you would see in a wild pack. Even though he was very shy towards people he didn't know, i know that in a heartbeat he would give everything to protect my mother and i from any harm. Bo was so many more things, but i guess i should stop here for now... i just love everything about wolves

Mostly because their really caring creatures. The pack bonds are very strong, and in the wild studies show that they even try not to step on flowers. Their beatifull and strong. They help each other when another is hurt and they never leave a pack member behind.
