Anyways.............
A couple of other things to keep in mind as I see San Diego score the first points of the game. In the AFC playoffs this year, the team that has scored the first points has lost.
And, finally, I still think that the Patriots and Packers are going to be in the Super Bowl. But, another question is, this year, who has had the most success of the final 4 teams against the opposing conference and how will that affect the mentality of the Super Bowl?
San Diego--2-2 vs. NFC North, including a loss against the Packers.
New England--4-0 against the NFC East. But, three of those games (Dallas, Philly, and NYGiants) were not easy for them.
Green Bay--4-0 vs. AFC West, the closest being the 19-13 overtime thriller in Denver.
NYGiants--3-1 vs. AFC East, including the oh-so-close loss to the Patriots.
What does this say? While nothing is solid (of course), if the Pats and Packers make the big game, one has to think that the Packers may have a slight advantage since they mostly cruised through their non-conference games while the Patriots had some trouble against the NFC.
Just random thoughts.

Expressionistic_Butterfly I want Packers to win superbowl sorry but I am tired of Patriots winning all the time. Packers did great this season. Give credit to McCarthy and Favre for really stepping up and changing their team and seasons around. They will be contenders next year as well, because they are a young and talented team with a lot of heart. They just got outplayed and it was disappointing for Green Bay to see their magical season end this way. Favre may have played his last game, though. neutral

They are bad at keeping people out of the redzone but when there the opposition uually ends up with a feild goal.

That still leaves TDs for special teams and defenses to score, if the offense does not break through (who should). Also, that keeps the defense on the field for too long, which keeps them tired and prone to error. You also don't want to keep your offense un-involved, which may unclick your scheme.
