Shuri could feel Tara getting tense, in which she wondered why. "Did i say something wrong..? She cleared her throat before continuing again. "..Do you think they have a chance together?"

Shuri tried to understand that it was more then Tara was telling her, but she didn't see it fit to force it out of her. "I..see." She replied with a nod.

"Well... not really, its more because Fate did end it with Kenji but, he still loved Kenji quite a bit so this is hurting Fate... I may just be angry at Kenji because Fate is hurt." She sighed but she didn't like admitting it.

Shuri's eyes widened at this detail. She didn't know it ended like that. "Is Fate with someone else now?" She figured if he was, then Tara would have a reason to be happy now.

..Children together? Of course Fate shouldn't have a pained heart by now. This made Shuri wary of Tara's story, but she continued anyway. "That's good to hear, Tara! Tell me, do you have someone special in mind?" She decided to partially change the subject.

"Not really, I don't get out much to meet anyone, the last time I heard the ones that claim ownership of us planned to have me have children with someone by the name of Amaranth but that was quite some time ago." She shrugged, not really interested in a lifemate the way she was interested in children.

Shuri gave a swift nod before turning her head away. She too, did not have a mate. But unlike Tara, it bothered her...very much. She couldn't stand being alone, yet around 25 complete strangers...it still felt alone.
She became oddly quiet, tail swishing slowly...
