Well...I play soccer, and when you grow up playing it, I notice that kicking or punting over 50 yards isn't too much to worry about (besides a bit of accuracy and experience).

Kickers and punters, long snappers, and holders are definitely part of the team. The kickers are usually the highest scoring players on a team, while the punter is the most important in the field position battle.

Anyways, kickers' contracts are pretty high for a "skilled" position, with $1-$3 million per year. Also, there a lot of rules to protect kickers and punters, some of which (like accidentally running into them) should be either dropped or reviewed.

lol my brother "accidently" tackled me after I had kicked the ball on madden, but since the camera follows the ball he didn't get penalized for it, even though my kicker got hurt... lol

Oh, lol.

I never noticed that...

Anyways, of my like 8 year career of playing Madden, I've never blocked a punt or a kick...They've missed FGs or had bad punts, but I usually never had anything to do with that... confused

But I do get penalized a few times here and their for roughing the kicker... stressed

One time i blocked a feild goal on Madden. I think they just DIDNT block me i mean i just went running and he kicked it and it hit me in the gut.
lol.

No, I play for the Wii.

The controls are pretty tight to make it feel better (more realistic) than a regular controller.

But it's a bit tough to get a game going...

There aren't too many people in the lobby, and the "find a game" usually fails. I have a pretty good wireless connection, but other people don't and they disconnect at times. Also, If the Wiimote (since it's wireless) runs out of battery power, it automatically logs you out. sweatdrop

Yea. Better graphics by a bit, but it's features are the same. I like the Wii gameplay with movements though.

Do you find the same Madden'08 flaws for Xbox360? I'm talking about receivers catching a lot more than they should, offensive lines easily collapsing, easier punts/kicks, fall starts on no-huddles, and more fumbles and interceptions? neutral sweatdrop

Actually no.
A few more fumbles but nothing drastic.
A few picks that are retarded.

I fumble with Brandon Jacobs at least 2-3 times per game... stare

...and when I play someone online who uses the Colts, the Manning-Harrison hookup is seriously like unstoppable. stressed

I don't know... neutral

It seems like every Manning-Harrison pass anywhere near him, with as many defenders gets caught.
