Nirvana was the first.
Then Led Zeppelin.
Then Queen.
Then The Cure (which still is my fav. band).
And recently I've had a phase with The Cribs and Franz Ferdinand.

 Haha, mine were Green Day and Slipknot.
Now I don't listen to them anymore. At least not like I used to. Well, I have a few of their songs I still like. But now I just admire them for the great musicians they are.

rockfever Okay loved may sound weird but what i mean is that what is the band that you started to listen serriously. Mine is AC/DC. Second would be Rainbow The first band I started to listen to....Linkin Park or MCR....no wait, Fettes Brot....

To be honest, it's probably a neck-and-neck tie between Frank Zappa, The Pixies, and The Smashing Pumpkins. I was introduced to all of those when I was way too young.
They're still pretty high up on my list of favorites. The first album I ever bought was Joe's Garage when I was eight. xp Compared to the other kids my age, my music taste made me look like a freak.

When I was little I heard "Smells like Teen Spirit" and "I Love Rock and Roll" around the same time. The two aren't really close at all music wise, but I would later realize that the Joan Jett and Nirvana (which were tied for some reason) were the reason I ever started playing! xd

Something Corporate, and I still love them, but their nowhere around my favorite band. That title belongs to Showbread, and it always will. =]

i just fell in love with them and i'm still in love with them!
my next would be Tokio Hotel...but somtimes i'm ashamed to admit that cuz no one here likes them! by 'here' i mean where i live

The first band I really loved was Metallica. They were the only band I went out and bought all of their albums and singles.
