I don't know why I listen to Underoath cause it makes me more depressed like Act of Depression and Giving Up Hurts the Most but I'm depressed enough so I really don't need to be any more depressed. And when I want to cry I listen to Good Enough by Evanescence cause it's so sad. I LOVE UNDEROATH AND EVANESCENCE THEY OWN!

Yeah, I love that song to bits

Don't forget Joan Of Arc's "So Open; Hooray!". Most of the song is whimpering and tears.

Underoath rocks man, they have a few depressing songs, but then again I don't know of a band that really hasn't made a depressing song, except of a few "happy go lucky." bands, but Underoath does have some good songs to their name, like Writing on the Walls, In Regards to Myself, you know all that stuff, but I don't mind a depressing song here or there. Oh thanks for inviting me in xMyxChemxRckrx.

'To A Husband At War' by I Hate Myself (Yes, this band again.)

The main theme of this song is about a wife whose husband has gone to fight off in a distant war. She then receives news of his death, but clouds herself in strong denial and refuses to acknowledge his death.

Uhh, you guys heard of Joy Division?

Or Elliott Smith??

Give them a listen, then you'll know what "depressed" (Depressing?) music is.

Most of the music I listen to can be considered depressing. Though then I am feeling really down, I put on Staind. @~@

When I'm down and want music I can identify with I turn to:

Pornography - The Cure
Garlands - Cocteau Twins
Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division
Meat Is Murder - The Smiths
Different Degrees of Empty - Frank the Baptist
Mesh & Lace - Modern English

(these are albums, not songs)

most of my music is depressing, so where shall i start... ^^°

evanescence - hello
Creed - Wash away those years (I always, always start to cry instantly, listening to it, no matter if depressed or happy...)
everlast - white trash beautiful (not because of the music but the lyrics)
MCR - the desert song & the ghost of you (!)
Nelly Furtado - Onde estás (first album, not very known I think)
Jack Johnson - Cookie Jar
Counting Crows - Colourblind
Alex Parks - Mad World (of course, it's just so... *luv*)
Die Toten Hosen - Nur zu Besuch (german song, he first sings that he's always visiting her and likes the silence and the path to her and that everyone misses her and that he talks to her, and there is still post sent to her house even if everyone knows she moved, well, and at the end he asks her to let the sun shine on his grave too when he's also dying...)
also Placebo & Staind & Hurt
and at the moment my favourite two songs for sadness:
sia - breathe me and paramore - My Hero (foo fighters cover)

btw, I'm also listening to sad music when I'm already depressed, in this situation everything else makes me aggressive ... oO
