Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria.

Listen to the solo in The Crowing. Amazing.

Some of the solos from the new Coheed CD, No World For Tomorrow have amazing riffs and solos too.

Nick Wheeler
(The All-American Rejects)

He's really good. :3 I've seen a lot of The All-American Rejects' performances. ^_^ So, I'd say he's my favourite. x3

Now for all of you bashing Jimmi Hendrix, I know I should respect everyone's opinion and all but if you don't think that Jimmi Hendrix is a good guitairst than I am sorry, but you know little to s**t about music. You cannot tell me that Jimmi Hendrix was one of the few musicians that revolutionized music. He broke so many barriers and made some music what it is today. The is a reason he is "over-rated" it is because he deserves that status. As for his music, I find it somewhat entertaining, but he's a good guitarist and musician.

As for my favorite, I guess I'd say Tony Iommi.

Jimi Hendrix? trash? what are you smokin? rolleyes

I think Carlos Santana is my favorite. Paco De Lucia and Eric Clapton close behind. And Bela Fleck if he counts, he plays banjo.

Jimi Hendrix was good, but he was nothing spectacular.

Lou Reed.
That lady from Sonic Youth.
Vai.
Van Halen.
Satriani.

Have given more to music, to be honest.

Ricki Medlocke of Blackfoot who jammed with us in 71 might be up there in the top ten or Curtis Loew might be also.
