He blinked and looked to her in surprise. "This is my first time seeing one!" He replied stupidly. What he meant was of course he'd never jumped off of one because that was insane, and because he'd never been to one before.
He laughed. "Wait -- you've jumped off of one of these before?"

Nafsi let out a light ring of laughter which appeared to bounce off the stone and wood that surrounded them. "I thought as much." she responded taking a few steps forward, a paw splashing a bit of water that it had come across. At his question she nodded. "Whenever something was bothering me I'd come here, sometimes with my brother, scale the rocks and jump off, feeling for a split second like I could fly and escape all my troubles." she spoke rather dreamily. "Then once I entered the water all the problems washed away."
She shrugged taking a few more steps. "It some ways it was like therapy for me."

He smiled softly and watched her. "Oh are you having problems then?" He joked. "With me? So you want to jump off?" He purred out and then leaned forward, licking her nose. "It sounds scary... but like a lot of fun." His tail flicked.
He was happy she had found something to take her mind off the bad things in life, he'd never felt like he needed something like that but he knew of lions whom did. Njozi had just told him about their uncle, Damu, who was... well he had problems and needed some sort of outlet like a waterfall.

She shook her head. "No, not with you." she replied not making it clear if there was something bothering her or not. "When I first climbed up there it was terrifying but I had my brother Wazi with me making things a lot less scarier than they could have been." By now she was already at the base of the path, up the first step. "Do you want to try?" she inquired tilting her head back to look at him.
She was sure he'd enjoy it but it was completely up to him if he didn't want to. "I won't think any less of you if you don't."

He felt a little nervous. He eyed the water fall and then grinned at her. "Okay." He agreed easily enough though. If she jumped off he wanted to jump off with her! He wanted to try something new, because she offered it to him.
"If I die though.." He mad himself act serious, "You're going to face my mother's full wrath and it won't be pleasant." He was teasing her, he didn't think he'd actually die. He did think there was potential to get hurt but he wouldn't ask her if she'd ever gotten hurt jumped off, he didn't want to chicken out now that he'd agreed to it.

She smiled brightly at him. "Follow me then." She started up the rocky wall, stepping carefully as to not fall. "Watch your step, I don't particularly want an angry mother on my tail for letting you fall and get hurt." she commented thinking about the last time she had to deal with Nyunya's wrath. Shivering she shook her head, it wasn't something she wanted to deal with again, not so early for sure.
"You won't die. That'd make me too sad if you did." she pouted flattening her ears against her head before smiling again and reaching the top. "Aim for the center when you jump, okay?"

He just smiled in response and kept looking where he was going, his footing pretty steady. He didn't think he'd get hurt, at least not from climbing up the path. Maybe from jumping off, but he didn't think too hard about that.
He coughed and nipped her tail lightly. "Of course I won't die, I was just teasing." He blinked when they got to the top and swallowed, it looked a lot higher from up here. "Me first?" He questioned, sounding a little shocked. Couldn't she jump in first? "Why don't you show me?" He said slyly, with a chuckle.

"I know." She nuzzled him when they were on steady ground. Then she moved to peer over the side laughing. "Of course I wouldn't make you go first, you have to see how it's done first." She spoke like his thoughts were a bit silly. In this case they were, for now. "Watch and learn." she told him as she stepped backward.
She took off running leaping into the air, almost floating for a second before she positioned her body just right for the perfect dive as she hit the water. A large splash was the result of it and she came up the surface after a minute laughing. "I forgot how good it felt!"

He went to the edge after she jumped, eyes wide and heart thudding. He grinned as she surfaced but looked a little bewildered. She wasn't scared at all? I mean he knew she'd done it many times but something like that... logically told him it would give anyone who jumped a rush. Every time. No excuses.
Maybe she was better at hiding it? Or maybe he was just being silly. "Here I come!" He called down with a nervous laugh before backing up. He hoped she'd get out of the way.
He ran and lept and in mid out let out a thrilled shout, though it was also a shout that hinted he feared for his life! He didn't bother diving or anything, he just hit the water with a huge splash and surfaced with a gasp of air. "Oh gods!" He yelled, twisting to meet her eyes with a laugh.
"Oh gods!" He repeated. "T-that was amazing!" He laughed more and then splashed at her. He felt a little shaky though, he really had thought he was going to hit a rock... or get stuck at the bottom or something else dreadful within the few seconds from the leap to the water's surface.
Nothing bad had happened though, just like she had promised.

When he yelled at her she made sure that she was far from the center, but not out of the water. When he jumped she ducked under the water to not be hit by the rain of water that was created when he hit the water. Surfacing when he spoke to her she quickly swam over grinning. "It's a lot of fun isn't it?" she asked giggling brightly before shifting to float on her back.
"Let's take a break and rest and maybe jump again later. Does that sound good?" she questioned sinking back into the water and slowly making her way to the shore.

He smiled. "Sounds fine." He replied as he swam after her and laughed. "Though I'm not so sure I can jump again so soon... that was intense!" He laughed more. "But fun." He climbed out and shook off, his fur poofing up a bit. He started to yawn and grinned at her, nudging her with his forehead.
"Where is a good napping spot, hmm?"

She followed him out of the water, shaking her fur out resulting in it puffing up. She slightly resembled a fluff ball. "You'll want to go at least one more time before we leave though." she mumbled sleepily. She moved towards the patch of sunlight that shone brightly through the trees and plopped herself down. "Right here."
She settled her head on her paws tilted to look at him. "Our fur can dry as we sleep."

He smiled and moved toward her, snuggling against her before shitting his eyes. He was sleepy but wanted to stay awake, wanted to keep feeling her body close to his and feeling the love they shared. "Yeah, one more time." He said softly, promising her.
