Demyx surfaced, a wide grin crossing his maw.
"Of course! Swimming is loads of fun!"
Laughing, the blond shook his head to dislodge some of the water before splashing back at Xanul.
"I play in the water every chance I get....how about you? You swim or do something else for fun?"
Waiting on an answer, nine swam around a bit to fully enjoy the cool waters. Man he wished he had been reborn as an aquatic Kitsu. Living in the water would have been awesome.

"Uh well..." Xanul trailed off, grinning as he pushed a bunch of wet hair out of his eyes with a paw. "Usually I go on adventures to meet new people. Then, I have to practice magic as well. And the portal stuff." He dove back into the water, swimming about before surfacing again with a smile.

"Oh?"
Ears perked, Demyx's gaze followed Xanul's swimming.
"Magic and portals huh? You any good at those? I remember it being really odd to learn at first but it grows on you over time..."
Demyx smiled encouragingly. Magic wasn't the easiest thing to learn, but a friendly smile had to help some huh? That and having Saix as your father...

"Not bad." The teen grinned, blowing water out of his nostrils. "Mommy's always pushing us to practice, so yeah. The portal thing isn't so bad, but I landed up in the wrong place a few times." He winced slightly, remembering his lack of concentration.
"So, Demyx." He began, swimming over to the Nocturne. "What does the Organization do? I mean, what was it created for? Andddd....why is dad second in command when he's number seven?" He asked curiously. He had wondered a lot of the the Organization's purpose, now that he knew that baking cookies were not part of their agenda.

"Oooo, ouch...the portals can be rather tricky too. Once you get them mastered though they're really helpful."
For running away, was the rest of that thought. Demyx didn't voice that part though.
"Errr...."
Nine looked around a bit, looking for some method of escape from this conversation. None found, he realized he was going to have to answer the other's questions. It was not a subject he was overly comfortable with, but if Xanul really wanted to know...
"I'm not an original member, well like...I'm told the first five created it with Superior, and the rest of us joined in. So what I know of our purpose is we're supposed to be finding that which we are missing, which is our hearts. With that, Superior says, we'll be complete and 'normal' once more."
Demyx's ears flicked, green eyes locking on Xanul as he lost himself to the thoughts.
"I go along with it, even if I have my doubts...maybe we're supposed to be this way, you know? Or maybe we really do have our hearts and just don't know it... But if Superior says...."
The blonde trailed off. It was hard acknowledging the fact that you blindly went along with something you weren't so sure you believed in. But, that was the painful reality of it all.
"As for mister Saix...I'm not so sure. That was established long before I joined, and it's all I ever really knew. I figure it's just because he does a lot of work for the Organization, or something."

"True." The teen swiped at a wet lock of hair that was hanging over his eyes.
"Ohhh." His eyes widened. "You mean...you can..."He swallowed, the prospect dizzying to him. "You can find your hearts?" Was this really true? There was a chance they could regain their emotions? By they, he meant his father and himself...and the rest of the Organization of course.
"I think it's weird though." He used his paw to tap the right side of his chest with a small frown. "I mean..." He swallowed, wondering if it was right to reveal the truth to Demyx. But hey, he seemed trustworthy. And he had nothing to lose right? "I lose my emotions during the full moon." He said simply. It did feel good to say it out, even to somebody he had just met. "I don't know how it works with my heart and all, but yeah."
