---|But it's more fun! I love working with layers and filters and effects and things, and seeing if I can emulate text effects I see elsewhere with my fairly limited knowledge and skills.|---

---|You sound like Mooby. I like flashy effects; I like working with gradients and filters and adjustment layers and things. Also, making shiny icons is harder in MS Paint.|---

---|Did I say I was that skilled at all? No. PS is good because I like tweaking colour balances and fine-tuning effects and such. I use MS Paint for other things.|---

---|Lovely. Because I can't be bothered making a button now, I'll leave it at that.

(Though, you know, you can't do stuff like this in paint without a lot of pixel editing unless you've got stock images to work from...)

Bah! I can do better than that in Paint!!

(On a serious note, that looks great! My Paint skills fail in comparison xD)

---|You probably can. My image editing skills are pretty limited; it's all stuff I taught myself.

(Thanks! I'm going through this whole grunge phase with my banners. I should show you the one I made for [Ralph]'s birthday, and the most recent wallpaper I made...)

I went through a grunge phase with photoshop, then a modern one... ten to the style of my current sig (which is old now) I haven't done much in photoshop now except edit a few screenshots of Flight Simulator X

---|I went through a phase where everything had to be soft and glowing. I look back now and wonder what I was thinking. Everything was done in monochromatic colour schemes, and I'd apply outer glow to the whole lot...the overall effect was just too busy.|---

o.0 Soft and glowing is good in small doses, but everything soft and glowing, in one colour... now that's too much!
