Trac chuckled, as he picked up the puppy, laying it in Salanica's lap as it let out a little yawn and fell off to sleep. Putting his arm around her shoulder, he held her close to him.

Salanica blushed at this, stroking the pup's ears gently as it slept on, before looking up towards the tree again, wondering if it actually did glow when love was confessed...

"We could try it." Trac whispered, as he read her thoughts. They were facing it, and he held her close. the puppy's steady breathing was the only noise other then the talking and wind.

Salanica's blush increased further, but she nodded slowly, ceasing stroking the pups ear slowly, and turning to face towards him slowly, blushing further red still.

Trac started blushing as well, as he started."Salanica, I love you. I knew you were the one when I first met you, and I will always love you. No matter what." he said, as his face caught on fire.

If Trac face was red, it was nothing compared to Salanica's. She had never been confident with telling someone she loved them, even if she truelly did. But she knew she had to, and that she wanted to, so, with a slight stutter, she responded. "I... I feel the same way... I love you too..." She swore her cheeks were in flames as she said it, but she didn't regret it. The pup in her lap let off a slight whine before snoring.

All of a sudden, the tree started to glow. For a couple of minutes, it was strong, but then it faded."Wow." was all that could come out.

Salanica stred up at the tree, smiling as it glew. "Woah..." She also mumbled, before grinning and hugging him shyly. "It really does work..."

Smiling, she leaned her head against his shoulder, still staring up at the tree. She was amazed that the rumours about it were true...

Trac turned his head, and gave the side of her head a kiss."Come on. Let's head to the beach." he said, standing up.
