Cliff Burton was an expert on bass and he is the better bass player, theres no doubt about that.
But Jason Newsted was a good musician. He could sing and play bass alright, which goes unnoticed for the most part. But Cliff Burton is just such a hard act to follow, I think almost anyone would've gone unnoticed

Do you even have to ask? lol Burton unchallenged. and I think Rob looks cool lol he has a very.....unique stage presence lol
