Sorry for your loss Ron, I'm echoing everyone else when I say that everyone deals in their own way. My grandfather was the person I was closest to in the world, with the exception of my boyfriend and when he died I didn't cry, I watched everyone else fall apart but I didn't. My grandfather raised me, he was a best friend and a parent. About 5 months after his death, I randomly turned on the tv and Fawlty Towers was on, it is an old british sitcom I used to watch with him when I was little and I just lost it and sobbed for hours. I'm the type to not grieve and then randomly be gutted by something small.
Now I'm going to awkwardly segue into my lameness of a day; my laptop got hit by a douchenozzle of a virus and I lost a bunch of stuff, including the longest post I have ever written for Ascension, I even put some extra editing effort into it and then massive shutdown by the laptop.
It's been an entire day of fretting, having temper tantrums and drinking tequila paralyzers with my friend who fixed my laptop. So, I'm going to try and rewrite my post, but I'm very disgruntled right now.

I feel like a bit of a d**k for having such great news, but on the other side of the spectrum, I just got a new computer for my birthday from my dad...

Well thank you everyone. But no need to be sad. I think I am just paralyzed emotionally by past deeds I needed to do to survive and my family. Just not sensitive, or so they used to not be... Now I wonder. It's like when you hit forty you fall apart, haha.
It's all good. He was happy I am sure, his birthday, he had his drugs, just did too much and oded... Eh, sounds better than suffering in a hospital if you ask me.
But thank you all for making me not feel so out of place for not feeling anything really.

Oh, and I am being moved to electronics at work and making almost a ten bucks an hour again. So I am having a relatively good day. Just odd news to receive, haha.

Im glad for your good news ron! yeah electronics is a good department...but full of people trying to shoplift! they give people in that department grief but its not so bad as others....*shakes fist into the sky* DAMN YOU DELI! DAMN YOU CUSTOMERS WANTING SHAVED HAM!!!!
also omega, its a RAINBOW mood for it is full of mood swings and happy and sad momments.....plus if you do not include red from now on, stray might have a hissy fit XD
