other rumors include Raven Guard and Blood Angels due to name, but high librarian percentage might just point to Thousand Sons...

First off, what changes? As I havent read up on the new DA codex, i dont know what these changes are.

If you read the new White Dwarf with the information on creating the new DA codex, they plan (sometime in the future) to have all Space Marines:
-Squads: (Aside from Veteran and maybe command, I forgot) Be assembled in groups of five or ten.
-All Space Marines: Will have frag grenades, krak grenades, and a bolt pistol.
Aside from that, they haven't said much else.

As for the squads do you mean they can ONLY be 5 or 10 not numbers like 7?

Concerning equipment, did they mention upping their points due to this? And bolt pistols? What good is that to one carrying a bolter, thats such an odd thing to change, Im happy with their equipment for the most part and hope they dont change it.

Blood Ravens are over rated.

'Oooo! they got their own game! Oooo!'

Big deal. I know of a lot of chapters better than the Blood Ravens.

'OOOOO' they asked a question. They did not say 'Blood ravens r teh haxx0rz u grup of smurf luvin suxx0rz!'

So perhaps tone down the opinionated pissyness.

What kinds of Close Combat capabilities do the Space Marines have? Same as the Chaos versions?

Failing the ability to check the Codex, peruse their summary.

As I mentioned in the DoW thread: it involves Eldar one way or the other. CS Goto is to blame for that. Somewhere in the past of the Blood Ravens they raped or were raped by Eldar and as such, have such a high proportion of librarians in their chapter.

Also, they keep Eldar relics and artifacts at their old keeps for some perverted reason.

Hes a space marines, Space Marines greet other space marines as bother, as they are such. And the Blood Raven flag might have been an ignored or forgotten mistake, as it is one little skin to change.
Ive noticed other similar mistakes too.

GRAH!!!!
I just read the chaos thread now this.....
Buy the book. And honestly their both marines, dont you think it should be similar? And if you cant afford a marine codex (though no excuse on the rulebook) then borrow one.

"Brother" is used in this instance as a taunt between Loyalist and Traitor Marines.
