"Maybe...." Rune looked thoughtful for a moment or two, she had met plently of people before.
Her atention though was taken away from seeing the girl's siblings coming towards the desk. She smiled kindly at the two, "Hello, have you found what you were looking for?"

Celebor grinned and nodded, holding up a few books - he had offered to carry Serenity's for her, and since he knew Skye liked looking at books but not choosing, he had chosen a few for her as well.
"We got lots," he told Rune happily. "But S'ren'ty wanted to find Skye back again, and she says we should find Mommy too, 'cept Skye wanted to find her friends first. You know where they are?"Skye was watching Celebor's lips, and when he finished talking, she smiled and turned back to Rune. "Skye friends?" she asked eagerly. "Tristan and Yuki?"

Rune mused on this a bit, "They're probably in the backroom again."
Which was a good thing because Rune didn't want to deal with what if they were in the computer lab which was a few floors up.

Celebor looked at Serenity. "Do you know where that is?" he asked her curiously.
Serenity shook her head negatively. She had no idea, but she was too shy to speak in front of Rune.
Celebor shrugged. "Then I guess we better find Mommy and Lore first, Lore can take us there, right?" He grinned. "I still didn't really get to meet them, maybe this time I can!"

Rune nodded slowly checking the time just in case the lecture was still going on, even though it should be ending soon. It wasn't that look, after all these people came just for the sake of learning, not because they paid or anything. Though probably a few students had their grades depending on it.
"Just wait until the adults start filing out of the main library."

"Oh yeah!" Celebor grinned. "Mommy's listening to that talking thing! I forgetted 'bout that." He giggled, then looked up at Rune again. "How long they gonna be?" he asked curiously. "Cos I think Skye really wants to find them, and when she wants to do something it's kinda hard to stop her, cos she don't listen when you tell her nothing cos she can't hear when you tell her nothing."

Rune looked thoughtful, "Well I suppose I can show you the backroom."
It wasn't like anyone else was here, and if she left the children with the two (assuming the two could be trusted), then she could come back here and tell Lore and their mother when it was over.

Serenity grinned and poked Skye to get her attention, then signed a bit with her fingers. Her movements were slow and awkward, the signs of a child still learning to use sign language.Skye's eyes lit up and she clapped her hands excitedly. "Rune take us to Tristan and Yuki!" she giggled. "Thank 'oo, Rune!" She would have given Rune a hug, but there was still the desk in between. Celebor grinned. "Yeah, that would be nice of you!" he chimed in. "Thanks!"

Rune smiled with a nod as she rose from her seat, "It is not a problem," she murmured.
She motioned for the door leading the children to where she was sure the two dancers were. Rune was also sure the two were not busy, they were effective workers making the time they worked cut down quite a bit.

The three children followed after Rune, all of them excited but for different reasons. Skye made sure that she was walking right beside Rune, and she slipped her hand into the taller girl's and gripped it tightly, excitedly.

Yuki was of course with Tristan in the back of the library. They had been pouring over maps of the city since they were still on assignment at the moment. Rumours of a particular gang had caught their interest.
Rune opened the door to the backroom, looking down row upon row of books waiting to be put away.

Tristan mused under hooded lids how they all need a vacation. She would be happy when this was over, though questions about how she was going to deal with being a girl again sprang to mind. She stretched a bit putting the maps away, they would deal with it another time.

Skye's eyes sparkled. She recognized this room! She slipped her hand out of Rune's and darted ahead, searching through the rows of books for her friends. She wanted to show them how she had grown!

Rune hurried to catch up with Skye, she didn't want to lose sight of the child again until she was sure that Skye was with the others. That way at least she could honestly say she knew where Skye was.
Yuki leaned against against a wall and sighed as she kicked off her heels, the man didn't know how women did it. Heels had to be a bane of anyone's existence was her train of thought.
"How much longer before the shift is over?"

"Stop complaining," Tristan looked at her boyfriend from where she was hiding away the maps, "Computer problems and stupidity was kept to a minimum today, be grateful."
Honestly he complained too much sometimes, but it had been a boring wee, even with Lore leaving the library more, which was proof the place wasn't going to fall apart if he went and got a life.
