Malcom smiled alittle. "the blood isn't mine Kai. I just got into a heated agrument so to speak. I'm fine..." Isaac barked and whined. Malcom said nothing.

Kai pouted and asked, "What happened? Did it have to do with how you seemed mad this morning?" Kai rubbed Isaac's head, trying to make him feel a little better, knowing that Isaac was worried as well.

Malcom nodded. "it has something to do with this morning but the issue has been handled and resolved now. Tomarrow it will be nothing but a memory."

Malcom looked over at Kai. The boy was worried to death about him "It's Blake's.."

Kai nodded and asked, "I would ask if he did something stupid, but asking that would be worthless... So um... What did he do? He must have done something really stupid to have made you that mad..."

"He made the wrong deal with the wrong people.." Malcom finished his smoke. "Blake may do some stupid things and we may not get along,but when it all comes down,he is still my brother and I will protect him at any cost."

Kai laughed lightly and said, "I understand that feeling... Rio is basicly useless at most things other than getting in trouble. But I will always correct his hopeless mistakes at any time." Then he asked, "Are you just going to wear that bloody shirt? I'm not sure if it is good to do that..."

Malcom smiled. "Its good to know you are close to your brother. Me and Blake might be as close as we use to be but we'll still break our backs for the other." Malcom looked at the blood on his shirt. "I'll change out it in minute. Tell me,did you and Rio get your chores done and did the bed come today?"

Kai smiled and replied, "Yupp! Me and Rio finished earlier than we thought we would. And yeah, the bed came today. It's really soft. Thanks alot for getting it Master."

Malcom nodded. "you are welcome Kai. I'm going to rest. You and Rio are on your own with dinner tonight, try not to eat nothing but junk food." Malcom went upstairs and too his room. Once the door was closed he removed his shirt letting the truth he refused to tell Kai reveal itself. Not all the blood was Blake's,most of it was Malcom's. He hissed in pain at the bandaged cuts on his right shoulder and chest. Even though he had already been treated at the hospital,they still pusled with pain. Malcom forced himself onto the bed. Alittle sleep and the pain should stop. shouldn't it?

Kai nodded and went to the kitchen and looked around, wondering what to make. He sighed and settled on simply steak. Before he started cooking he ran upstairs to wake Rio up, but his twin refused to get up. "Ngh... I'll skip dinner tonight... To tired..." he mumbled into his pillow. Kai sighed and went back downstairs, "Guess I'm eating all alone tonight..." He smiled lightly as he started cooking the food. When he finished, he ate the food and put his plate away, then went upstairs and curled into his new bed. Kai smiled and muttered, "Thank you for the new bed master..." then he fell asleep, hugging tightly onto his pillow.

Late into the night Isaac crawled out from under Rio's bed. HIs ear stood on end. He ran to Malcom's door and started barking at the top of his lungs. Something was wrong. Isaac jumped at the door but it was locked. Isaac continued his barking refusing to leave the door. his master was in trouble.

Rio and Kai woke up from Isaac's barking. Kai rubbed his eyes as Rio went to find Isaac. When he found Isaac in front of Malcom's door, he rubbed his head and said, "What's wrong?" then Kai came up to Isaac too and kneeled down and looked at Malcom's bedroom door. "Isaac? Is something wrong with Master?"

Isaac looked at Kai as if to say what do you think. He went back to jumping at the door and his barking. Malcom hadn't replied yet to the noise.
