Alaric Zarkov

Alaric continued to wander about the halls of this fortress feeling a bit confused seeing as he did not know where he was going at this point in time. He let out a small sigh, even his probe was a bit lost it self, he just looked at the walls and around this area trying to find Grathrym to tell him the information he had requested. The feeling or dread had returned to him once more at this point in time. It most likely had something to do with this place and how it influence people. The probe was going a bit crazy as it began to scan everything they came across it just hovered around doing its work but it stayed close to Alaric at this point in time. He began to hum softly it had an electronic tone to it, seeing as he had his helmet on, "where am I in this place" he thought for a moment as he continued about his way trying to find food and water as well as demon who might help him regarding some matters.

((Namine, I'll take you up on that offer though I won't be on as frequently/consistently for the next week or so due to exams.))

"Ah, ha, yes, agree on that point," Bagarth chuckled as she grinned. Humans were fun, and I'm sure not everyone chose to dress in ridiculously bulky armor... now what was it that Noktal and I were speaking about earlier? Oh, yes, his human who wished to speak to another female... The Devil sighed. "Ah, but speaking of humans, let's find Noktal before heading off..."

"Where could he be?" Antoinetta laughed. She was excited now. She wanted to go see the humans now. Excitedly, her eyes sparkled wine red. With a smile, she transformed into a falcon and landed on Bagarth's shoulder.

"It is true that we could have talked openly with you However where would that have taken us? You hated us before and you hate us now. YOu hated us before because we shunned you. We cast you aside as a sub-specis. You hate us now because we killed your friends. However I will gaurentee that if you allied with the angels, you'll still end up dead. They MIGHT accept the cambion... MIGHT. Then they will force them to fight against you. You will fight the people you called friend all because it was an order form a higher up. I just want you to be accpeted. All of you are accepted. Human, Cambion, Nephilim. If you wish for an example as to how a cambion could be accepted ask Sydney. She went through the ritual. Willingly of course"

Anger still welled up in the Nephilims heart as he agreed silently with a slight nod, knowing that Indrid would notice him. He listened to more of the demon lords explanation, waiting silently, not uttering a sound, yet watching and listening.

Noktal suppressed a twinge of anger at Sydney. Granted, he had not been kind in his taking of her, but hell almighty, let it go.
"Please stop Sydney. I understand your anger, but can you not take it out on me?" Setting down his violin, he shook his head tiredly. Leaning back in the chair, he sighed, his smile gone.
"I'm sorry Sydney. Most demons would be appalled to hear those words from my mouth. But I am sorry for what I did to you. One day, you may thank me. Maybe." Picking the violin back up, he began playing a sad mournful tune.

Shari watched Noktal, a painful expression on her face. She was torn between defending him, and agreeing with Sydney. While she understood the anger and fear, it was still painful to see her husband, a normally calm and collected man apologizing. She was human, but she took pride in the knowledge her husband was the second in command of the Demonic Horde. She was not a clean human. She had sinned in the past, and had done things most would cringe at. She was kept in the room not for her safety, but for the safety of those that would attack her. Leaning close, she whispered softly in Sydney's ear.
"Please Syd-Syd. Don't hate him. Be sorrowful for what was done, but don't hate him." Leaning back, she pulled a black satin ribbon. Tying it looseleaf style, the ribbon shined beautifully with her hair.
"So who is the most surprising person here? And hun, time to clean your face up. I have some mascara and lipstick that will make you the envy of any man." Shari had pulled out some makeup and was humming contently.

((Work is bad for tomorrow. I'll be out until 12 PST))
PostPosted: Sat Dec 05, 2009 8:40 am

"There's no one else for me to take it out on. I can't take it out on Shari because then you'd obviously kill or maim me. I can't take it out on your Devil Lord for obvious reasons! And there was honestly no one else but you who came up with the idea to bring me here in the first place." Syd replied simply. Even though she was angry with Noktal, her tone didn't really say anything to that fact. She was just stating simple fact.

Sydney then heard what Shari whispered to her. First things first though. That nickname had to be stopped. "Please... don't call me that. Just Sydney or Syd." She said, sounding just slightly on the pleading side, but not so much that it was completely detectable. She didn't give Shari anytime to complain though because Syd then answered her other question about who was the most surprising person she had met here in the Netherworld.

"I honestly don't know." she replied. Though she would have said Noktal, but there was no way she would going to admit to that so quickly. It took her a moment or two, but Sydney finally picked up on the fact that Shari now wanted to put some makeup on her face. Syd stared at her for a moment or two then got to her feet. "Uh-uh. No way. I let you do my hair and that's enough, thanks." she stated. Her voice sounded rather... frightened by the mere fact that someone planned on putting makeup on her face.

((Don't worry. I have work again today too.))

Bagarth patted the falcon, Antoinetta, on the head and started walking toward Noktal's chambers. "Let's try his chambers, unless we encounter him in the hallways before then."

There was also the option of using her sensory links to find where he was, but no sense invading Noktal's privacy if he was engaged in something private at the moment. Either way, if she and Antoinetta found him, they'd be interrupting him in person.

Seeing no sign of Noktal during the brisk stroll, Bagarth and Ann arrived at Noktal's chambers. The Devil also thought she heard a violin squeaking at some point. Someone was speaking, though she couldn't make out the words. The chambers were usually insulated enough, if not by magic, to give the Devils privacy.

Sighing, she looked at Ann then the door, and knocked twice.

Alaric Zarkov

Alaric just wandered around aimlessly for sometime, still feeling a bit lost although he could hear footsteps and some music in the distance. He decided to follow the sound for the time being, his probe guided him for a little bit but it went back to scanning the area for the purpose or research. His footsteps could be heard seeing as the weight of him made some noise as he walked though this place. After some time Alaric came across a few demons from before, although he did not know there names at this point in time and they seemed to be waiting for something. Alaric though for a moment and approached them, the sound of a violin could be heard coming from a building. The one demon had a bird on her shoulder and he continued to approach them before saying a word. "Can you direct me to Lord Grathrym if that is possible" Alaric asked as he looked at the two demons.

Indrid shook his head. He didn't want to ally with them but it wasn't his choice entirely. "What do you think, Alastor?" he said silently.
PostPosted: Sat Dec 05, 2009 1:56 pm

"Yes what do you think. I actually find you closer to a demon then human... What was it Alastor." Grathrym looked at Indrid who nodded approval at the pronouciation of the name. "You keep to the shaodws often dont you. I take it that means you have the shadow travel ability. But agian I say cooporation is key. You must speak with Indrid for it is not solely his choice. No offense. If you so wish I can leave to speak privatley."

Knowing he was scene, he slowly stepped from the shadows. His right eye was still covered by the bandage, but his left still shown brightly alone as either of them would together. He looked at the demon lord with no change in his expression as he spoke his mind, though anger still welled up in his heart as he spoke. "You would be right in that I am more than human, Lord Grathrym. I understand the ways of demons and what they commonly represent. What I didn't understand is the reasoning behind the touch-and-go attack that you set upon us. Many of our friends died that day, and even if you may not feel remorse for fallen comrades, he hold many mixed feelings in our hearts. What you did could have easily pitted us against you."

"However, we learned of the plot the Light had pitted against all creation by an angel who did not fully agree to it. I do agree that banding together would strengthen our chances in surviving, possibly winning in preventing that end, but you of all would understand our mistrust considering what transpired recently."

I" do understand why you probablly hate me. However, if I may? I wish to bring back a person you may thought dead. And the one who actually attacked you. And a surprise for you as well." He thought of three peoples names and faces and set up the mental link. Noktal, Sydney, Shari I want you all to come to my chambers now. Noktal and Sydney can walk if they wish but Shari will have to endure coming thourgh one of my shaodw portals. But particularly Sydney will want to come. I have a pleasnt surprise for her. "This will only take a second. Oh and so you know what I am about to do is not to attack its a shadow portal." Grathrym raised his index and middle finger. From it came a small flicker of black flame. He drew a a door shaped figure in the air. Afterwards he drew a rune on it and muttered under his breath. Instantly the door vanished and reapeared in Noktal's quarters. It was a safe passage to Grathrym's chambers for Shari.

It was then that Syd heard Grathrym's voice in her mind. She scowled slightly at the sound of the Devil Lord's voice. However, the look disappeared from her features as he mentioned that she'd want to come given that he had a 'pleasant surprise' waiting for her in particular. "What's that supposed to mean?" she asked back, sounding both curious and annoyed at the same time.
