"Thank you, Farfarello!" Raedou called out as he continued to walk down the hill.
They soon reached the blacksmith's lodge.
It was somewhat small and out of the way, and had two little windows on it's walls. Two stone chimneys stood on top of the house; one releasing white smoke and one releasing peculiar purple smoke.
They walked in to see Krestere working over a bench, pounding away with his hammer. He sensed a presence and turned around, surprised at who he saw.
He, too, wore a helmet, except it was curved and somewhat round, with long horns protruding from it's top. And, unlike Raedou's helmet, Krestere's was a gleaming silver color, and Krestere's blue eyes could be seen from inside the helmet's visor. It was worn and scratching from endless labor.
"Oi! Raedou, me friend! Might dat be you?!" he said, taking a closer look.
"Why, I'll be broiled and bugged! Look atchya! Last I saw you, you were nutt'n short of a wee Ganzling, weren'tchya?!"
He laughed merrily as he walked over to give Raedou a handshake.
"Yes, Krestere, my friend," Raedou chuckled, "It has been a long while, has it not?"
Krestere gave Raedou a hug. "I've missed ye, lad..." he said, "When I got the word o' the death o' yer folks, me heart shattered."
"Please..." mumbled Raedou, "let's not talk about it..."
"As ye wish, lad... As ye wish..." said Krestere, "A thousand pardons."
He looked behind Raedou to see Ephlas and Perrault. His jolly look suddenly shifted into a stern glare.
"And, uhh... who be these, uhh... outsiders... ye brought into me shop, litt'l Raedou...?"
Perrault nervously forced a smile. He was somewhat frightened; it was quite obvious that Krestere was not fond of other races.
"Oh, do not worry yourself, Krestere." said Raedou, "They are friends of mine."
He pointed them out one by one.
"This is Ephlas, and this is Perrault."
Krestere thought for a bit, and then reluctantly held out his beast-like hand.
"Pleased ta meetchya." he said sternly.

Once again reluctant to shake hands, Ephlas gingerly extended his hand, afraid of the firm, hand-crushing grasp he was entering into. The presence was becoming more impatient on his mind, though.
"Uh, Raedou... I forgot to ask how long this will take," Ephlas murmured to him. Things were becoming alarmingly dangerous, in his bird's eye view of the place, through subconscious magic.
"And it might peeve Farfello to (farfarello xD) no end to find out that I wasn't truthful when I implied to cause him to save that person...."

Farfarello looked around a bit, ears pricked for any sound. He heard none. After only hearing the scream once, he could only tell its general direction and had no idea where to go from where he was. That's when he noticed something: he was panting for air. Cursing himself for not feeding "this stupid rag," and still bleeding a bit from his skirmish with Raedou, Farfarello decided to make his way back to -where were they all headed to? - ah, the blacksmith's. But how to get there? Naturally a blacksmith would have a fire going, which (as Fafarello knew only too well,) meant there was going to be smoke. He looked to the sky and saw traces of the stuff in two different colors and decided - given this was an aquaintance of the ganzi's and purple smoke was probably normal, - that was his best chance and headed that way. ... Finally finding the lodge (as he'd ran quite a ways), Farfarello heavily kicked the door open, still a bit out of breath and clutching his side, not even thinking about the word "tresspass".

((Is it indeed Farfarello? I've been calling him Farfello this whole time... XD))
The demon immediately found himself surrounded by an orb of pink energy. Ephlas had spun and fired without checking his target. This only went to show how unnerved he was by... something.
After a moment, Ephlas relaxed his shoulders, and the pink sphere faltered, then disappeared. "Sorry," Ephlas muttered, before turning back to the two Ganzi who were going about their business.

((Yeah XD It's okay, lol.))
"Damn you!" Farfarello involuntarily shouted as he was pushed to the floor. He used the wall he'd fallen against as support to ease himself back up. "There was no girl," he added as a side note.

Krestere jerked his hand away from Ephlas and used it to pull a menacingly large broadsword from behind him.
"You filthy bugger!" he bellowed, "Get outta me house this instant!"
The enraged Ganzi rushed toward Farfarello with sword in hand, but Raedou quickly stepped in front of him in order to stop yet another misunderstanding.
"No! Krestere, stop!" he said, "This is Farfarello. He is also a friend of mine."
Raedou felt sorry for all of the trouble he had caused Farfarello, and the last thing he wanted was to ruin Farfarello's already ruined day even more.
"I'm sorry..." said Raedou, "He's not very good with manners... Please, put the sword down, I beg of you."
Krestere did as he was asked and put the sword next to a nearby table.
"A'ight..." he mumbled, "Just don't be barging through me doors again, ye hear me?!"
He turned to Raedou and grinned.
"So... what brings ye to me humble shop, Raedou, me good mate?"
Raedou looked down at his tattered armor.
"I'll be needing a new suit of armor, Krestere." he said, "Similar to this one, but I need it made from Gravitite. Do you think you could do it by... say, the day after tomorrow?"
Krestere looked at the condition of Raedou's current armor, nodding his head.
"Aye... but it'll cost ye..." he said, "Gravitite be very pricey, and rare, too..."
Raedou dug around in his pockets and pulled out a bag of coins.
"I have merely 230 gilliams with me..." he said, tossing the bag up and down in his hand, "Will that suffice?"
Krestere smiled and took the bag.
"For ye, Raedou... that'll do just fine. I'll be startin' right away, then. Feel free ta sleep for the night, I have fresh beddin' upstairs if ye be needin' some shuteye."
He walked over to the table and began to jot down a few notes.
"Help yerself to the kitchen if ye wish, as well... I just been out shoppin' and got me hands on some tasty bannock."
Raedou smiled.
"Thank you so much, my friend." he said.
He turned around to his friends.
"Are you three willing to stay the night?" he asked, "Krestere will take excellent care of us..."

Ephlas shook his head. His pink sphere had only surrounded Farfarello. The demon had jumped to the floor by his own devices. Ephlas then motioned for a far corner, where he could speak with Raedou in private.
Three Mindbreakers... and an army.

Raedou nodded his head and turned to Krestere.
"Excuse me..." he mumbled as he walked with Ephlas to the corner of the room.
"What troubles you, my friend?" he asked with concern.

To say Farfarello was suprised at Raedou's actions for him would be a bit of an understatement. He'd been expecting a buster sword to be smashed into his now-easily-breakable body and wasn't sure if he'd have been able to properly and completely dodge. "Yeah," he moaned, answering Raedou's question. "But I'm not touching any of that bannock."

((Ephlas has said nothing yet.))
As Ephlas drew him into a corner, the magus told Raedou of the impending Mindbreaker attack. It was inevitable. They'd been followed from Erebus.

"Still half the distance between here and Erebus," Ephlas answered, though this comforted him little. "I don't know what your Ganzi friend is capable of, but I fear I should give you all a crash course in Mind Shielding, before- agh...."
But it was already too late. Ephlas was being assaulted mentally. He managed to barely utter, "When... struggling with minds... the body is... useless... just kill... the body...."
The army could probably be seen approaching from the horizon. It wasn't a large army, but plenty large enough with three Mindbreakers to destroy a rogue Magus and three ordinary 'travelers.'
Currently, Ephlas was wrestling with all three Mindbreakers. If they subdued him, however, his formidable reservoir of magical abilities would prove disastrous to his allies.

"Perrault, come to the kitchen with me, will ya? You're more familiar with these death-foods then I am, I'm sure." With a swish of his tail, Farfarello had dissapeared into The Room with the Food. ((A Room... with a Moose!!))

Raedou growled and held up his hand.
"Get a hold of yourself, man!"
With that said, he slapped Ephlas across his pretty face.
"Okay, Far..." said Perrault, as he followed the demon into the kitchen.
"What would you like to know?" he asked, looking at the many different food items stacked upon the shelves and the counters.
((That's it for tonight. I'm going to bed now... I need a good amount of rest to prepare myself for the mental breakdown that I suffer in Chinese class every other day... See you in Chinese, Hayato.))

((Thank goodness. I would've stayed up through 'till morning.))
Ephlas snarled. "Cease! I fight!" The Magus' hair began rising, as if charged with static electricity again. Whatever it preceded, wasn't good. Something with the weather, came into mind.
"Warn... the Ganzi...."
