Avarice let out a shakey breath. "I-I think this is the first time I have ever felt something as fear..." The last word was difficult to hear as he whispered it, but he couldn't help but bury his face into the crook of her neck again. "And your dress...it's ruined. Yet, you still look as lovely as ever."

Kirai sat up a little and put her arms around him, talking in a soft voice. "But we both came out alright, correct?"

He nodded, wrapping an arm carefully around her waist. "Yes, I'm alright...the shift fixed my wounds." He was silent for a moment, before looking down, away from her face. "I'm sory, my love. For losing control and for Tyler."

Now she kissed him on the forehead, and said in a lighter mood, "Dear, you are Greed, after all. The result of gaining whatever you want because of this is perfectly fine. Good thing, right?" Kirai then paused for a moment. "And in addition to that, I forgive and care about you just as much anyway."

Avarice nodded. "Yes, Greed at its finest." He smiled, then, feeling strangely like puppy the way he was so cuddly. "I was very pleased with you. You fought amazingly."

Kirai responded a little embarassed, "Thanks, however... it was not good as needed. Well, I guess it is because my ka and ba became out of balance." She then continued in a better mood. "You did a wonderful job yourself, very nice indeed."

Avarice nodded in thanks, running his fingers lightly down her arm. "We both did a splendid job, we're alive. So, we obviously did something right." He chuckled lightly.

"Your right. And, at the very least... we got the chance to observe them fight again, meaning we will be better prepared next time. Also, yesterday for the most part was rather nice."

"It was...until I found you collapsed and bleeding out. Thank goodness for our incentives." He was examining her wounds, having to squint without his glasses. "Are those bandages alright? Not too tight I hope?"

"Perfectly done, Dr." She laughed a little, then asked, "By the way, may I ask what happened to your glasses?" Kirai couldn't remember if he was wearing them the night before once the battle was over or not.

He barked out a laugh at this. "Yes, thankfully. However, I'm as blind as a bat and you shouldn't expect me to walk myself down the stairs. Otherwise...it'll be as if Edward's here all over again." He said, setting his free hand over his eyes. "As I've said though, I don't need sight to see your beauty."
