Torrentstar stopped and looked over his shoulder at Rainfur What is Windclan doing to him?"We weren't able to discuss it at the gaathering." Torrentstar of course had been thinking about this but it was not a question he liked to spend much time thinking about. "I'm sure.... I'm sure Sandpaw is fine." his muscles slightly tensed at the words. He wasn't sure he could believe his own words.

Moonkit sat at the entrance to the nursery. The only thing she could hear from the whole conversation was Rainfur mewing, "-- but why isn't Sandpaw with you?" Moonkit's heart sank. She missed the hyperactive little apprentice who was usually bouncing around camp all day. Still, the Windclan cats wouldn't hurt a cat in need. They just wouldn't. She knew it deep down in her gut, yet she still felt scared. A small shiver going down her spine, she finally went into the depths of the nursery and fell asleep.

Rainfur hissed in annoyance. "I'll believe that when I see it." he spat, not meaning to seem angry at Torrentstar. He was more angry at WindClan for keeping a RiverClan apprentice. "I'm sorry," he mewed more softly. "It's just that I hate not knowing if he's okay. It's driving me crazy."

Torrenstar was surprised by Rainfur's tone of voice, but he relaxed when he had finished speaking. He looked at his paws thoughtfully. "Me too." He meowed softly. He walked toward his den after he had finihed speaking and ducked inside to sleep for a little while, before he made the announcement to his clan about the gathering. He was tired. It had been a long day. And he had a feeling the next day would be even longer.

Dampfoot's face had remained furrowed in thought all the way back to camp, generally keeping her frosty gaze securely fastened to her paws as she watched them carry her home. When the female finally reached the clearing, she slid in easily behind her leader and hovered for a moment as she watched a few cats cluster around Torrentstar, hungry for news. It wasn't until said tom mentioned sleep that Dampfoot realised how late ( or rather, early ) it was, and how worn out she felt. A few prolonged moments later and then heavy paws were dragging along the crisp grass as she trudged obediently towards the Warrior's den. A quick stretch before the anxious she-cat crawled into a warm corner and curled up tight, her silvery tail brushing her nose as Dampfoot quickly descended into sleep.

Rainfur was still annoyed but knew nothing could be done. Not right now at least. He looked up at the sky once more. If WindClan lays one paw on him.... he barred his teeth. Rainfur padded softly out of camp. He had no intention of going to get Sandpaw, he just need to get out of camp for a moment. He settled down by the river bank, and planned to stay there until his nerves had calmed down. He had apparently shocked himself by his behavior towards Torrentstar. Rainfur had never lost control of his temper that easily. Gazing out over the river made his eyelids grow heavy. He stuggled to keep himself awake and eventually couldn't fight it anymore. He drifted away into a deep slumber under the clear sky, listening to the river flow around him.

(( sorry if this is too fast guys... i'm excited to be honest... LOL))
Torrenstar fell asleep easily. His mind was soon filled with scattered dreams of dogs and Windclan cats. Screeching and yowling. Then he saw Sandpaw, running, fear scent was heavy in the air, but he couldn't tell if it was Sandpaw's or some other ... creature's. Sandpaw ran frantically, desperately, stumbling foolishly over rocks and twigs. Finally he stopped and looked up. His face became distorted and then Torrenstar's dream faded. He woke from his dream startled. His heart was pumping loadly and blood was slightly roaring in his ears. He sat up on his paws, his eyes wide. Suddenly he was more scared for his apprentice than before. He stepped out into the light and squinted. The sun was bright. He had been sleeping for only a few hours but in that time, the sun had almost reached the middle of the sky. It was almost sunhigh, he'd have to call the meeting very soon...
He crossed out into the middle of the camp...very quiet for the middle of the day. He scanned the camp looking for any cats that might be awake. If no one was awake, he would wait until they did wake up. He didn't want to alarm them with a yowl breaking through their slumber and startling them. He laid down on his belly. The end of his tail flicking back and forth impatiently, as he tried to calm himself and not think of the dream he had just woken from...

Rainfur's eyes opened slightly then he jumped up. His muscles tensed, then relaxed remembering where was. It felt strange for him to wake up outside of camp. He realized how hard it must be for Sandpaw, waking up every morning in that strange place. Rainfur lifted his head to look up. The bright sunlight took him by surprise. "Sunhigh? Great StarClan! I've slept the whole day away. My clan must wonder where I am!" Rainfur bolted quietly back to camp. At the entrance, he looked around to find that all the cats but Torrenstar were still asleep. He padded over to his leader, bowing his head in respect. "Morning Torrenstar." he mewed, trying to hide the fact that he was out of breath.

Moonkit yawned as she padded out of the nursery. She felt much more secure about the Sandpaw incident now that she had gotten some sleep. A quick glance around the camp made her realize two things; nearly everyone was sleeping and it was sunhigh. Sunhigh? She couldn't remember a time when there were so few cats out at sunhigh. Walking over to where Torrentstar sat, she bowed, then sat herself down, too. "Hiya Torrentstar! Did you sleep well last night?" The soon-to-be-apprentice mewed. "And when will the meeting be?" Although she knew that Torrentstar was simply waiting for everyone to get up, she still wanted it to be soon. She wanted to hear every little detail about the gathering. Her glossy tail slowly going grom right to left, right to left, she patiently waited for an answer.

Torrentstar nodded to Rainfur too distracted to even notice that the young warrior was out of breath. He opened his mouth to speak and said, "Rainfur, was there anyone outside the camp with you? I want everyone here very soon. It's important." His voice was calm but serious. He looked at Rainfur and then turned his head to see Moonkit bounding toward him. He couldn't even smile at the clumsy furball, he just nodded back, and then asked her in the same serious tone, "Moonkit could you please wake your mother? Tell her to wake Mooneye also..." He sat motionless except for the anxious flicker of the tip of his tail...

Moonkit, a bit taken aback that Torrentstar didn't even noticed her question, got up and trudged towards the nursery. "The only thing I'm good for now is waking cats up..." She mumbled under her breath. She didn't bother to try to slip past the thorns in the barrier; she simply let them get tangled in her fur. Then an idea caught her mind. I'll wake Silvertail up and get my anger out at the same time... It would just be a joke, right? Deciding it would, she yowled at the top of her lungs," HEY SILVERTAIL!!!!!!!!WAAAAAAAAKE UUUUUUUUUUP!!!" Surprised by her own yowl, Moonkit stumled back a bit, almost knocking herself out of the nursery.

((LOL CUPID THAT WAS VERY FUNNY))
Silvertail woke with a start, her fur stuck out aggressively and her claws were unsheathed, she stood with her eyes wide looking around frantically when she realized where she was she calmed a bit. "Moonkit?" She heard the clumsy noises in the brambles that covered the nursery and concluded that it must have been Moonkit. Silvertail stepped out into the light and barely even noticed the other cats in the middle of the camp. She picked up Moonkit by the scruff and picked the thorns out of her fur, careful not to hurt her. "What are you doing yowling so loud? You could've woken up Starclan!" She purred. She just couldn't be angry at the little kit. It took alot to get Silvertail angry, especially for Moonkit. ; )

Sunfeather opened her eyes slightly, squinting due to the sunhigh light. The golden she-cat licked the heap of dark brown fur under her head, hoping that Hawkfire would wake up. The two had slept curled together, under the stars, after the Gathering.
The mass shivered slightly, then a head rose next to Sunfeather. "Wha..." Hawkfire mumbled blearily, his amber eyes half closed.
"Sunhigh." Sunfeather rose and stretched luxuriously. There was also a slight tension in the air.
The two sat up underneath the Highrock[?] and began to groom each other.

Dampfoot was yanked harshly from the comforts of sleep by a high-pitched yowl; an angry sound that sliced through the air like a knife through butter. Ever the light sleeper, the short-tempered femme leapt to her feet, claws unsheathed and mind foggy, ready to delve into clumsy combat with the source of the aggravated feline screaming. Hackles raised, the hissing that Dampfoot was unconciously emitting slowly fizzled out as she gradually took in her surroundings. Her cloudy senses began to clear as the remnants of sleep slowly lifted and the world came into focus. It was a good job nobody had been around to see her foolish mistake. It only took the female a few moments to re-compose herself as best she could before she was ready to face a new day; albiet feeling a little worn out and hungry. Padding blearily out of the warrior's den, Dampfoot stumbled across the clearing to sit before Torrentstar. She squinted up at her leader, his pelt shimmering in the diluted sunlight. Swivelling awkwardly to glare over her shoulder, the groggy she-cat cast her gaze around in search of the yowler. "What is StarClan was that.." She muttered, apparently addressing whoever cared to listen. An irritated sigh puffed past her muzzle and into the brisk, chilly air, forming a cloud before her that quickly dissolved, disappearing as if it'd never even been there in the first place. Wrapping her tail neatly around her body, Dampfoot raised a paw and began cleaning it delicately as she waited for the rest of that cats to assemble.
