Skreemer apparently the old sign language for jew involved a gesture for a long nose. I find humor in this.

I did my application with already known jutsus... does this make me a bad person? I just thought it would lead to me concentrating more on character development instead of fighting with super awesome new kick a** techniques <<;;
I see plenty of techniques that haven't been used yet, but perhaps they don't fit your particular character? Perhaps I should later on RP that my character gets her very own technique?
If you think about it, not even Naruto has a technique of his own yet...
And wow, why is everyone suddenly applying to this RP? surprised

Mou I've understood that Arabic is incredably hard to learn, I have a friend who studies it. She has for a few years and she still can't use it in casual conversation... << Do you have any specific reason you want to learn it for? I'm really interested in diplomacy and nonviolent conflict resolution and I figured especially with US foreign policy being so focused on the Middle East learning Arabic (and hopefully eventually Hebrew) would be a good thing to do. sweatdrop
As for apps, I'm really interested in the Wizard of Oz one...it's based in something yet original at the same time...*ponders a character that would work*

Plus, our member purges are only for those who've been here over a month with less than 10 posts.
Seriously? Well, I never have seen you RP before, so it isn't much of a surprise. You should consider joining an RP sometime.
Aside from English, I know fragments of Spanish, Japanese, and Farsi. I also know the sign language alphabet.
Wow, Mou certainly has dabbled in many languages.
Arabic will be hard, EKA. My brother is in the Air Force becoming a linguist, though he still had to go through boot camp.
There are still plenty of ideas out there for jutsu, Gale. Start with taijutsu combo moves and proceed from there. I kept my jutsu simple for the same rason as Mou, more character development.

Ah yes EKA, sounds reasonable, it's an interesting language too. My brother is studying Russian for the same kind of reason.
And yay for people who think alike heart
Oh and another tip to you Gale if you're thinking about jutsus. Well genjutsus haven't been used that much in the series yet... but just watch out not to make it too powerful.

And let us not forget his slightly unsavory Harem no Jutsu.

Gale OverDrive I was trying to think up a character for the new Naruto RP by DTT. Shikashi (However), no new and original jutsus come to mind. >.> Wow, has every single possible power been taken up already? Weird . . .
If/when I make a char, it will not include any Kekki Genkai. As for Jutsu, the fun thing of them is that unless they are bloodline limits, then they can theoretically be learned by anybody capable of molding chakra. I am thinking of an elementalist, trying to keep versed in earth, fire, water, and air techniques. I have some RP books provide some decent spells in this arena, as well as levels of power, so I need not think up too much. ninja
Sexy Technique and Harem Technique would get me just about every time! sweatdrop But not everybody has to have their own original moves. Look at Tenten, all she does is summon weapons, and she kicks a**!

Woah woah woah... I RP, but it just seems a little impossible for me lately. I used to crank out multi-paragraph posts and be respected in an old guild I used to frequent. But I seem to have just lost my muse recently...

Welcome, Shady Mane!
Etymology is a fun field of study!
Kekkei genkai are overused enough in the main series as it is. That's the main reason I chose to not give my character any.

*gluggles* IVG Welcome HOME! me too the character that i ended up sending is actually based on the cowardly lion from another version of the wizard of oz i've read (not wicked). he's civilized and everything, but he looks just like a lion that wears fine clothing. he goes into the woods to learn while on a quest for knowledge, when the tiger bears (which actually are in the book) take residence in the woods. so he stays there until dorothy* comes and helps him out of the forest * in the version i read, she was named doris and her dog was named Timothy. all of the characters were much different from the book, with the lion being the closest resemblance to the original character. the scarecrow was a murderer who was serving his punishment (crucifiction) when doris found him and the tin man was a little metal doll. Glenda was an ice queen, Elphiba (witch of the west) was a earth queen, witch of the east was the air queen and the wizard was the fire king. the emerald city was just a giant volcano with a city around and inside it.
