*After a murmured word in the Tavern, to the spirits of days gone past, Roan followed him out, not commenting as he changed and armed up - she herself was still carrying dual guns on her thighs plus her own swords over equally precise attire. Then she gestured for him to mount up while she waved a hand, revealing the motoslave nearby, now devoid of the shadows that had hidden it form the neighbourhood's unmentionables. Sliding over the monster bike and settling her weight, she gunned the engine and nodded to Fenrir*
South Africa. We've after the recruiter. Follow me, no matter what we end up driving through.
*And then she turned the bike and roared into the night, letting the sound of the wind in her hair and the throb of power under her legs fill the world as she focused down on the next Syn on her list*

" South Africa?... There better be a gas station on the way."
This said in jest, Fenrir would turn to his bike, throwing a leg over as he settled his weight into the suspension and inserted the key, throttling up. Taking a moment with closed eyes to enjoy the sweet smell of gasoline, and the sound of the perfectly crafted engine, the Gael would then roll forward, kicking his feet up before U-turning to follow Roan.

*He knew the Gael had returned. Knew the DeSeer atrocities were destabilised at home, and Roan had gone rushing back. Thus, Fenrir would be here. He knew it, felt it... and as he stepped through the wall into the bar, he'd SEE it.
Seraphim was a wreck. Where he'd previously been the walking slightly more obviously deviant version of his twin, now... he was a mess. His hair, normally silky smooth and neatly tied back, or seductively swirling around his body, was unkempt and unbrushed. The delicate wings that raked back from his temples were shredded at the edges, almost like a bird that had over preened. His clothing, normally borderline bondage gear, was a grunny white t-shirt and dusty holey jeans, neither of which he seemed to care about, and didnt fit him overly well. His piercings were missing, his tail was dragging and he was barefoot.
In short, he looked like a drunken bum, minus the awful smell and reek of alcohol on his breath. He swayed like a drunk however, and his eyes... such beautiful eyes that had enticed and danced with dark mirth... were haunted, dead in some ways.
It wasnt Seraphim. Not right now. And his stare, blank and disturbing though it was, was focused on Fenrir, the childe Blazeheart unspeaking.*

Lifting his brow from crossed forearms on the counter, Fenrir would c**k a brow at the man in shambles.
Fenrir himself had returned to the Tavern after South Africa, parked his D-Monster 1100 out the front and then taken the time to shower, and change.
Old red country shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, blackened denim jeans and his high top sneakers back on.
Revolvers holstered at his hips and swords still fastened behind him, crossed over his tail bone the Gael barely offered Seraphim acknowledgment, as he up ended a glass of scotch, and began taking a cigarette from his left breast pocket.

*The young man flickered. For all his dishevelled appearance, he was powerful. More so than he'd ever been. He didnt walk forwards, he didnt stride. He was just suddenly RIGHT up in Fenrir;s face, leaning forwards, one hand on Fenrir;s cigarette hand, preventing him lifting it to his lips.
This close, he REEKED. And not of the dirt that caked him. He smelt of old old blood, death and violence. He smelled like a battlefield*
My... father....
*He started to giggle, dropping his head so his hair fell around his eyes, the laughter shaking his whole body though it wasnt a joyous sound*

"..... I've heard that before..."
Turning his wrist Fenrir rather than fighting against the pull, went with it and slammed Seraphim's hand on the counter, ripping his own wrist free as he fell backwards to roll back onto his feet, right hand deftly gliding over his waist for the fingers to idly patter over the hand of the revolver.
Meanwhile the Gael's left hand came to adjust the collar of his shirt as he levelled his eyes on the bum. His only occasion meeting Seraphim after all was when Corbin brought him back to life, and before he ran off from the scene in search of Abaddon's heart. He had no idea who this guy was.
"Alright kid, As often as i've had some brat claim to be my b*****d son, the fact is its impossible. So, hows 'bout you just walk yer crazed arse back through that wall 'n' act all Japanese horror flick with some other chap."

*Sera stumbled forwards as Fenrir reacted, but the laughter didnt stop, his dirtied hair falling forward to hide his face, and the exact moment the laughter turned to gut wracking tears, his body convulsing where he stood, the man not advancing on Fenrir at all.
His head suddenly flashed up and a livid red eye shone from behind the strands of hair as he growled his next words beastially, as if his throat had become lupine*
My... father... is DEAD....
*The hand slammed onto the table changed. It grew larger, chitinous, the entirety of each finger becoming a claw as if some parasite adorned his hand and turned it alien.
The red eyes continued growing in intensity, a VISIBLE aura of indigo, red and black spiralling around him like wild fire, poisoning the very world around him until horrific beings of other dimensions walked forth, only to be torn about by the man's power moments later. And then it could be felt. Starting as a faint rumbling in the distance, like thunder, it grew and grew. One by one, the windows in the tavern exploded outwards, then the glass was pulled back INWARDS to cover the inner tavern floor. The man fell to the floor, almost as if something was threatening to burst from his skin, but instead, all that happened was the dirt and grime covering him exploded off him, so his long indigo locks flowed beautifully around him as the rumbling got even closer. Then it hit.
The Tavern shook, the ground heaved and the earthquake threw everything one way then the other, as it reacted to its epicenter, the cause, Seraphim himself. The boy roared with the pain of it as sheer power threw itself out of him, his eyes turning purple once more just briefly, looking at Fenrir emploringly*
Help... me...
*The problem? Sera had never been like Corbin. Never a pure powerhouse. As Abbadon had wrought his path of destruction, Corbin had gone from strength to strength in one way, CoOrbin in another. Now though... there was ONLY him and Corbin left. The spill over of excess power from Abaddon had been IMMSENSE. Sera hadnt doubled in power with that. He'd more than QUADrupled. And he couldnt cope with it. Between his grief at the loss of his stabilised family structure and the insurge of power he didnt know how to USE let alone restrain, he was a walking disaster area waiting to happen.
The eyes turned red again, his tail lashing the floor as a storm broke overhead as the earth continued heaving*

"Whoa WHOA! EASY fella EASY!"
As the aura built up around Sera after the armor appeared about his hand Fenrir took a few steps back, finger tips still pattering ober his revolver, before that distant chaos started to approach.
As the windows shattered the Gael dropped to the floor, his right leg sweeping the base out from under the table to his right, and in the motion he turned, left hand reaching to pull the base out under the table to his right. He now effectively had his back to the first table turned, and used these two tables as shields against the shards of glass that flew into the Tavern.
Knelt there under improvised cover the Gael winced, given the torque in his torso had aggrivaited the wounds on his back, and turned his eyes on Sera once again just in time for the grime and filth to spatter lightly across his face. This provoked a less than amused expression, and disgusted groan as he slowly regained his standing.
"HELP you?!...."
Gob-smacked, was the term most appropriate. Though as he took a moment to properly examine the boy, Fenrir couldn't help but find familiarity in the monster. Unbriddled power and rage he couldn't control and keep from lashing out to the point it caused him pain.
A Berserkergang? Thats the last thing this already scarred land of Gaia needed, a monster like this that could Berserk. He had to be stopped. Fenrir had no idea who the kid was, and he WAS a demon, Cainite, Devil... Signs at the moment pointed towards one of the latter two.
What was Fenrir's mission in life?....
He however, knew this may very well be more than he could handle, and so, he pulled his phone out and hit a speed dial. The DeSeer Mansion. He didn't have Roan's mobile number. Fenrir then dropped the phone back into his back pant pocket slowly, and just as gingerly, pulled his hand back, eyes locked on Seraphim's own.
"There is but one way I can help you, lad...."
Whether it was to silence a dangerous monster, or ease the Berserkergang for room for a more stable mind to function, Fenrir's hand jerked and he clasped the hilt to his right, drawing the katana out with extreme human speed, and with both speed and agility of the same calibur, kicked the table to his right at Sera, following behind it with the intent of dropping his weight and sliding under its flight path to hit the bar counter on his haunches, driving the blade of his sword up through the counter medium. Thats when he would unlock the GunBlade so that it could reach Seraphim through the counter. The aim was to put the blade straight up under his chin and through his skull, before firing a single .50 BMG round to complete the brain soup that would no doubt cake the back wall of the bar behind the monster. Regardless even if the thrust, and shot missed the muzzle flash would be deafening, and a definant distraction.

*The livid red eyes closed.... but it didnt diminish the glow. Even from behind his eyelids, Seraphim was putting out insane amounts of power. Lightning repeatedly struck the building, and tides along the coast were trying their utmost to rush as far inland as Durem. Violent winds tore through the empty windows as the boy shuddered and screamed with pain*
Blood.... of... blood. DONT.
*One of his hands raised, sheer force, unseen, pushing back against Fenrir, not intending to allow him a chance to attack, tables or no. In short, nothing he did not wish was going to get near him, if only because the one last scrap of sanity in his head knew it woudl be VERY very bad if he died, leaving ONLY Corbin.
In Fenrirs pocket, a voice would answer his call, but be unheard in the noise Seraphim was causing*

Fenrir's eyes widened as the force blew out from Seraphim, and his forward momentum was stopped, then reversed.
"HOSHIT!"
Slamming his GunBlade into the floor to slow his falling back, Fenrir nearly hit the wall as he ripped the blade free and rested it over his shoulders with a high pitched whistle. At the scream however, Fenrir's brow raised, and he leaned in slightly.
"Blood of what?!... Jesus christ..."
Keeping his distance, and eyes on Sera, sword held tightly, ready to strike or block, the Gael pulled the phone out of his pocket, not even sure if someone had answered yet, just hollering into the device.
"Roan, Tavern. NOW!"
He then closed the cell, and replaced the phone, holding the now free hand up passively, trying to maintain his balance as the earth shook, wary of the lightning strikes above.
"You one of Roan's kids?... Well kid?"

*A babble came down the phone before it was shut - someone had got his message.
Meanwhile, Seraphim, no long under threat of violence from Fenrir, had calmed, though the maelstrom hadnt. He spoke in the short clipped words of one in agony, eyes still shut, yet still so clear*
Hers, and yours. Both bloodlines. Like him. Sera....phim...
*His eyes rolled back, lids opening, replacing red with violent indigo. Power crackled around him in a widening dome liek arc, searing anything it touched, turning tables to ash, or to sprouting saplings, turning glass to sand or molten rock. God knows what'd happen if it touched Fenrir.
Out of Fenrir's shadow however, the matriarch began to emerge, her voice indistinct but getting clearer*
...,mmm...bbbbl....holy damage? Or not? I cant take energy from it if any of its from YOUR line...

"Bollocks.."
Rolling his neck, Fenrir let go of the hilt in his right hand and let the large, heavy blade find standing in the tavern floor directly behind him as he slid his right foot back just a few inches and dropped his weight.
Should the field of effect from Seraphim continue to advance to the point it threatened either Roan or himself, the Gael would pull his right elbow back and allow for his left hand to snatch out from over his rump the Shotgun blade, releasing its true form before it had even completely left the sheathe.
With the draw however Fenrir released the Magnum break technique. Raw, powerful energy collected around the blade of the weapon as Fenrir drew the slash across the floor in the path of the field, hopfully holding it back with the immense surge for atleast another few moments. In the process of course, shattering the floor boards into splinters and creating a large gash in the earth beneath.
"Its a little like the Martyr technique.... Roan, can you think of anything? Because if not, I'll have to unleash my Martyr to fend of the energy you CAN'T touch. Seeing Narok may also help calm him, but YOU will have to keep me alive."

We're we able to gurentee it wasnt Holy, Id just wade in there, but even I have limits. I will protect you, Gael, and keep you whole. Exhaust him. Do whatever you must to let him burn off this power and regain himself. I never even CONSIDERED he couldnt cope... we CANT kill him, Fenrir. There is only he and MY Corbin left.
*So saying, she stepped forwards and touched Fenrir's shoulders. A crackle of immense power followed, flowing like liquid heat between them, a thin dome of her OWN power extending past the two, touching against Seraphim's and denying it chance to move closer*
Help him, Blazeheart. He knows you, if only by blood.

Fenrir could connect the dots, he could make out the relationships here, and understand enough to know what needed to happen, and under what restrictions. His hands were tied some, he wasn't familiar with fighting a Cainite with the ultimate goal being NOT destroying them. This would be significantly harder.
Feeling Roan at his six, and the power exherted through her, and his body the Gael felt, at first, dirty. FILTHY with the rotten power from the undead matriarch, however, he could push through this innitial ar, to the goal at hand. He had to focus. This, was another Corbin. This, was another son of a different Lucas. This was another Nephew.
Tainted and foul as th creature may have been, he was family.
Thus, that cocky, light hearted expression that made it all feel like a comical faux pas. In place of this natural, sometimes apparently invincible air about the man, came a look of stern fixation. He focus, and glared at Seraphim as if he himself was in the position of a father so dissapointed in his son. It was one of those moments he looked every bit like his brother, Narok.
"You'll want to back up..."
Fenrir then reached back with his right hand to rip the Gunblade behind him from the floor boards, and leaned forward, disconnecting himself from Roan, and presenting a shoulder to Seraphim, and the fields merger.
Rolling the hilts of both swords over his knuckles and re-catching the leather to hold both in reverse grips, Fenrir then beamed forward off his forward left foot, boyish eyes of blissful ignorance replaced by the vibrant mist of azure aurathat welled up from the very depths of his being, that very final flicker of life that he posessed and his minds last desperate stand. The mentality of a man rushing in to what he KNEW, would be his end. This was the mind set of the Martyr, throwing himself away for the greater good. He had to beLIVE that Roan couldn't be trusted to keep him from dying. He had to believe she WOULD leave him for dead. And as his shoulder smashed into the point where Roan's field, and Seraphim's collided, that mind set released him.
The Gael's tattoos lit up from beneath his flesh and extended some, covering even his neck, cheeks and forehead, a singel bang of hair being dulled straight to grey as his entire physique exploded with raw power, the force of which shredding his shirt to expose the full extent of his torso tattooing, and the Blazeheart coat of arms on his left pec glowing in the gold ink.
With a fearsome kine roar of absolute desperation, Fenrir's body vanished into Seraphim's field of effect, and an explosion of his own field.
Pure Celestian energy boiled around the Gael, whipping up from around his shoes like crashing waves that rose up around him till the sea foam of a cresting to the colliding waves sailed much higher then his own height. Then the eyes appeared.
A much deeper shade of saphire than the rest of the aura, the eyes were those of a familiar man. Determined and strong willed, they were the center for the rest of the figure to form from, and it did.
As Fenrir continued forward, he vaulted the bar in a single stride on Seraphim's right, knuckles wrapped around the hilt of the Gunblade sailing in at the Cainite's adams apple.
The Blazeheart's every statis had increased ten fold, and in this state, he was capable of beating even Abaddon down, though he couldn't truely harm, let alone defeat that monster.
He would attempt to punch Seraphim in the throat, and continue forward, pinning the Cainite to the wall behind him and the counter with his knuckles against his throat. Successful in this pursuit or not, thats when the avatar would complete its formation.
Narok would loom over the Gael, his lower half absent in place of the summoner, his body formed of the aura that whirled angrily about Fenrir like a maelstrom of azure mist and fire.
Attempting to hold Seraphim there, Fenrir AND Narok, would both glare at the boy, the pair speaking in unisen, their voices, one.
"CALM yourself, boy. Have some PRIDE! Your blood is stronger than this, than you yourself will EVER be.
Fenrir would then draw his fist back, tossing the Shotgunblade from his left hand up, to be caught by the Narok apparition, and step back into a ready tall, powerful stance, ready.
"And if you cannot even do that much, then unleash it. Fight me, and take your lickings like a MAN. Know full and well, the human element you lack."

*Seraphim's energy shoudl have been enough to keep anything away from him, thus when Fenrir breached his barrier and wasnt instantly destroyed or regressed by it, he wasnt braced for an attack and took it full force. The blow was enough to crush his voicebox, but even as he hit the wall, it was reforming, enough power shifting under his skin to almost instantly heal anything.
If Fenrir wasnt wearing gloves, he was about to be in pain though. Seraphim's body held many of the same tricks Corbin did - tricks he had never signed up for or knew how to control. Wild necrosis, stone form, blood leeching and all sorts were going off all over his skin, and those that were active attacking powers WOULD latch onto Fenrir given chance. That said... Seraphim just looked scared.*
Father... hurts...
*He unseeing gaze seemed trained on the Narok image, body language asking for help but... Likewise, his gaze flickered with skills he couldnt control and a power behind them that had not been his own until so very recently. Horrid Reality, stone gaze, terror, command, dominate nigh on every gaze based skill flickered through his eyes, which moved from Narok to Fenrir, to even Roan, who stood with gritted teeth, managing the much harder task of keeping Fenrir safe from the maelstrom in the room from a distance. The storm was simply pouring into her, but other elements she was having to protect herself from two, leaving her managing two areas at once. As Sera's eyes came to hers, she grinned and helped Fenrir even further - she used her OWN gaze based abilities right back at him, ensnaring Seraphim's gaze*
Even Corbin couldnt ever shift my willpower or scare me away, Sera. Let them help you.
*Seraphims gaze would remain locked with Roan's, a battle of wills he could never win. So long as Roan HELD his gaze of course, and resisted the temptation to look at Narok*
Bleed him. Wear him out. I can feel him in there SOMEWHERE, but theres just too much power and grief over it all. Too much wild energy in the way. He's fighting, but you cant fight your own power.
*Only, she stood to be corrected. Even as she probed his head, the element she knew as Seraphim moved. Rose. And fought. Unbelievably, he turned his OWN gaze aside, breaking eye contact with her, and looked back up at Narok, leaving Roan gaping in shock. Blazeheart blood pooled in the anti-christs body, superceeding the DeSeer genetics totally for a few moments, and a massive wash of holy energy pulsed out of him, bathing everything in light and grace. Shock turned to pain, turned to power as Roan fought against it on the far side of the room, muttering violently about the girl getting picked on, and though she doubted Fenrir could be hurt by such... she damn well kept her word, kept him shielded even though it meant some of Sera's power scorched her own body with the unique blast of pain only holy power could bring.
Shining now with a different light, power coming in onky ONE form, instead of myriad, the image of the three bruned into Roan;s mind as she looked at them. Two full men, and a third guardian, bathed in soft radiance, every feature clear cut and enhanced, truly beautiful like members of the glittering throng. She swore again*
Yeah yeah, thats it, keep reminding me I can have all I want but never TRULY possess anything. Still aint forgiving you for letting me get killed in the first place. Some God.
*Her muttering was her way of expressing how much it hurt to be in the same room as them at the moment - heaven forbid she'd ever actually cry out in pain from this.*
Could one of you KINDLY turn the light switch off? Some of us have sensitive night sight... this isnt helping.
*Sarcasm. She hurt. Hurt enough some of her skin was getting that feeling ti got just before it blistered, charred and split open.*
There is too much. Tell me what to do... I cant keep it all in. How do I turn it off?
*The face that looked between Fenrir and Narok was young, so young*
Im scared.
