Travis got off the Gear, doing his best not to let the pain show.

Natsumi stepped off her Gear and picked it up. She looked at Travis. "Thanks for saving me back there," she said. She had realized that she hadn't thanked him yet.

Something was definitely up. Natsumi followed Travis into the building. "What's wrong?" she asked him.

"N... gah... nothing..." Travis said as he started walking up the stairs, but doubled over and collapsed before he got halfway up.

"Travis!" Natsumi knelt down next to him. She put her Gear in its compact mode and placed down. She tried to help Travis get back up on his feet.

Travis just laid there, doubled over from the pain. He would have screamed if the pain had given his mind any room to.

Natsumi wouldn't be able to pick up Travis and take him to the apartment room, so she quickly ran up the rest of the stairs and banged on the door to Sheo/Kate's apartment. "Hey! Someone! Answer!"
