"Yes, Kieiru, What is it? I'm right here." Reigen continued to rub Kieiru's back gently as she spoke.

Kieiru's arms flung out in front of him, wrapping around her in a tight hug, practically sobbing.

Kieiru was acting like he would when he first lost his ears. Something in his mind had misinterpreted something, and he jumped back a decade. In his mind, he was 6 years old.

Reigen hugs Kieiru closer to her as she continues to try and calm him down.

Kieiru shook, wanting his mother. Wait, thats right, she abandoned him. Kieiru stopped sobbing, and sat up, rubbing his wrapped head, feeling to see if he had his ears. He sighed, and looked down, feeling only the bandaging.

Reigen smiled realizing that Kieiru was finally coming around again as she leaned down to kiss the top of Kieiru's head.

Kieiru didnt react aside from a flinch. He didnt do anything as he sat in silence, crossing his legs as he looked around the room. He was in the hospital...why would a six year old be in the hospital...?

Reigen watched Kieiru's gaze unsure of why he was acting the way he was but having somewhat of and idea. Finally she spoke to him once again kindly. "Kieiru?"

Kieiru jumped slightly, looking at her. He blinked, and held his head where the gash had been, wincing. He continued to look at her, frightened slightly.

Reigen looks a bit worried at Kieiru. "What's wrong, Kieiru, does your head hurt? You want me to go get the nurse again for you?"

Kieiru winced again, before he quickly shook his head. He returned his gaze to her, trying to figure out if he knew her. She was pretty, and nice to boot, but...why was she being so nice? He was so confused, as he made an odd noise like a mix between a whimper, and grunt.

Kieiru quickly shook his head, showing his displeasure in seeing the nurse or doctor. He rolled onto his side, biting his lip as his knees curled close to his chest. Whoever she was, she was nice, but he was still afraid, and confused.
