It was indeed foolish and seemed to add to the fact that this match was about to be over in one shot it would seem ..as that steel wing for his head. Carrot would never see it coming as Nakano would point and shout in warning as the fox turned around slowly.
His face would come under direct assault at that moment as he only then realized his own plight.
It was a very stupid fox that didn't remember to keep his head down in a fire fight.

He would move to protect that stone as he did the others ...another ghostly figured would appear. Though this one came from a much further place as the Spinarak would look at her with fear in her eyes.
She had died once thanks to ....Jasmine ...would she kill her again.
Another illusion of the darkness one would hope as she screams out ....loudly ...
"NOOOOOO!"
This time even Jasmine could hear her as the fang came closer and closer to her spine to ...killing her with that icy bite.
The Spiritomb was still trying to protect itself despite everything they were doing otherwise.

(18 - 12 + 11 - 8 = 9/2 = 4.5 rounds to 5dmg + 1 to defense)
In that once moment it was clear that the fox wouldn't going to fare much better and with less armour to protect it things had only gotten worst. It was clear, she was going to have to turn back or else ...she was would lose everything in this fight ...as the Vullaby laughed openly. This time her metal attack had felt flesh yield under the assault and she liked it a lot.
She waited to see what the weak little fox would come back with.

From the depths of despair, the fox hit the ground hard backwards ...as he rolled to a stop. Blood was running down his face from the wounds. He got up slowly ...as he spat a tooth upon the sands. He licked his tongue to address the wound ...it was a canine of course, but thank goodness for the fact that he was only a pup ...that would come back when he evolved.
He glared daggers at his opponent then.
His rage was clear as he flicks his tails.
Yes, he should run away ...he had taken too much damage, but he hated to go out as the only one hurt. He would gather up flames in his mouth as he sent them out in one huge go as he used ...Ember.

Jasmine went stiff...
But whatever fears she had, Lindbergh elevated, as her fangs would find purchase, and the spirit would be severed, left to float away...
Twice now a spirit has been freed... and although no damage had been delivered, Lindbergh had to wonder, what effect this would have on the Spiritomb now, as she took time to look back to Jasmine with a nod.
The spirit was safe, as long as it could b e free now.
And Lindbergh looked back to the Spiritomb. [You must be getting pretty desperate there... you're going to run out of folks to make us feel guilty over soon.]
She wasn't moving... not just yet...
[Although, maybe you are a coward... having to hide behind so many helpless critters you ate...]
She'd wait, THEN move, goading the Spiritomb in, to show her real ploy, using the tombstone behind her, she was going to get the Spiritomb to strike it's own tombstone here.
Her wings would flare, but she wouldn't take flight, only gliding over the ground and away, it would be dangerous to try and goad the spirit, but it was too slow taking it on one spirit at a time!
She needed to think of a smarter way to do this, and if she could get it to do half the work... if she could get it angry here... she just needed to get closer...

It was the first time that she would be harm ...as the attack was very weak. She gave a quick click of her beak in a bit of appreciation as the attack died around her ...as she flick it off of her feathers as easily as it had been nothing. A slight singeing, but no burns ...that meant that there was nothing to save him from her next attack as she came forward again. Once more her wings harden as she used Steel wing. Though this time she would rise it high above the pokemon's head before diving it down ..towards the fox again.
She had managed to catch him when he wasn't looking and she planned to do it again ....as the wing threaten him on the downwards crash. The light dim as it was reflecting off of it in a blinding display that would force the fox to look away before it happen ...the end of their battle.

The Spiritomb felt rage as the tombstone was crushed and before the soul could get away he was forced to consume it. So many lovely meals and as the Gliscor talked he smiled dangerously at her. He hadn't bother to talk and he wasn't going to now as the tombstone that she stood infront of would have another spirit rise ...a Cherubi this time.
((I don't remember you being so brave when I had to protect you and your trainer.))
The voice would ring in her head.
((I gave my life to save you then and you are throwing away that life now. Why?))
It was with pity that those last words were said .....as the Spiritomb that had so far done nothing but send out it's own powers moved for the first time. It's attack was baring down on them as it used Pursuit.
It had truly been angered now and it was no longer going to hold back.

The jump backwards was a desperate one especially with his eyes closed. The fox didn't want to die ..and knew that a hit like that could end it for him as he tries to save his own life with that leap even with his eyes closed.

The fight would end then ...as that steel wing would hit against the fox sending him flying backwards into the ground. That was pathetic to say the least as the Vullaby would smirked.
She would chirp in a matter that can only be taken as a taunt.

That was one battle in her favor and she would only gain strength from it.

LINDBERGH = 15 HP REMAINING
It looked like Lindbergh had gambled and lost as the pursuit struck her and smashed her back into the tombstone she was trying to use as a target, but she bit down, looking at the spirit of the Cherubi.
[Took me... a LOT of growing up...]
And she turned her head toward Jasmine. [...And a LOT of help...]
But her wings spread, and the smallest gust, that was all it took, as she was sent fluttering upwards, before twirling, rolling, then suddenly diving!
She may not have had the Spiritomb hit the tombstone like she planned, but now, NOW it had came out to play... and the swirling gases and atoms... she had no idea what this would do... but she was fairly sure that if the ghost suddenly froze up in mid-air, it wouldn't enjoy it!
And so it was as she dove at the exposed spectre, her bared teeth holding the tell tale mists of cold as she clamped down, looking to make purchase with that Ice Fang!

Nakano had no choice but to return the pokemon as she saw the pokemon stand before her in a defensive stance. She couldn't do anything but call out her next ..maybe she should have called out pooka first, but the pokemon was at a huge disadvantage as she points at her opponent and calls out.
"Use Crush Claw."
She didn't know what else to do at that moment since things were quickly going out of control for the girl as Pooka would appear and take one look at the mess and sigh. Why always her even as he came forward to attack. Pooka Drillbur (f) lvl:3/Brave Hp: 17/17 Pp: 17 Att: 12 Def: 8 Spd: 9 Sp Att: 7 Sp Def: 8 Moves: Scratch, Mud Sport, Crush Claw Exp: 27/200 Bio: This pokemon was captured on Beginning Island on the girl's quest to capture a Vulpix. A vulpix which in the end she failed to capture, but maybe it's not so bad to at least capture one pokemon instead of none.

The Spiritomb that had stay away so far would attack once ...as it only managed to leave a scratch even as the pokemon turned back around to attack him. He would break apart in front of her face ...leaving her looking at nothing but the ground if she wasn't quick enough to catch those fragments of himself.
The ghostly Cherubi looked and shook its head. Would it be enough?

The attack catches her to her own surprise, but it was weak ...as she flicks it away with one wing. And then spun around to try and hit with another attack ..this one strong enough to crack the ground as she used Steel Wing once more. This fight was going to be over quite quickly at this rate and she was glad at this fact.
Though it might have seemed light she enjoyed it ...she did this for only one reason. She was trying to stop the carnage she knew was going to take place if they didn't run away and now.

She tries to protect herself as she bought up her digging claws. Her voice would come through loud and clear.

She would declares almost as if she could read the Vullaby's mind. This wasn't going to end well at all ...as she tries to hold her ground ...as she feels that wing smash into her. As she felt her feet loose it's hold on the ground as and even as she tries to steady herself she already knows that this is going to hurt.
