My head hurts from all of the people crashing in front of my house! Can't people drive when they're near a mall or do they all have to pop wheelies on my curb to get around all of the traffic!

sweatdrop jee this doesn't feel awkward at all. Well as a North Carolinian one thing I do remember going over many times in history class was the Lost Colony of Roanoke. Quote: In 1584, Elizabeth I, granted a charter to Sir Walter Raleigh, for whom the state capital is named, for land in present-day North Carolina (then Virginia). Raleigh established two colonies on the coast in the late 1580s, both ending in failure. It was the second American territory the English attempted to colonize. The demise of one, the "Lost Colony" of Roanoke Island, remains one of the mysteries of American history. Virginia Dare, the first English child to be born in North America, was born on Roanoke Island on August 18, 1587. Dare County is named for her. Edit** Basically Sir Walter Raleigh had two colonies going on along the coast, and one being the "Lost Colony". Virginia Dare of the "Lost Colony" was born on Roanoke Island that is in current day NC.

lol Go, Random! History rant time~ *happily applauds someone else doing it, too* xd I was trying to kind of coast Leilani along and keep her with TN so she wouldn't get lost in plot, but things kind of progressed to the point where I think she got left behind when he went outside the dance... but I'm willing to assume they talked/hung out a bit at the dance after he woke up if you want. *shrugs*

Thank gawd that California's history isn't as crazy. A whole colony just vanishing. Whaaaat? eek
And yeah, I figured you would do something like that, although you didn't have to, but thanks anyway! And you don't have to, I just had her walk disappointingly back to her dorm, sad that she got separated from her Eastern brother.

sweatdrop Thanks Armelle. I remembered going over the Lost Colony for awhile because I didn't know if I wanted say NC has been born because of the Colony and just been sick until she was colonized again or just say she was born from the split of Carolina Providence. My family once went to Jamestown, VA as a summer trip and watched a reenactment play of the Lost Colony. I almost got confused for a moment because there is Ronakoe Rapids, NC and Ronakoe, VA but the one in VA is too far west from where it should be. Then I looked it up and found Ronakoe Island is right beside Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills and near Cape Hatteras in NC

Yes and it's still one of the world's many wonders. According to my book of North Carolina's ghosts. You can see the ghost of Virgina Dare haunting the place. Which I honestly don't believe because when the settlers returned they didn't find remains. Also it's predicted that the Colony ended up merging with a nearby tribe. And there have been recordings of finding a tribe with blue eyes.

yeah i heard that too, but I think when Virginia Dare's farther left she stayed behind to wait for his return. Of course he was killed on the way back to I think Virginia Dare died there waiting, and her soul will not rest until she see’s her farther, ghost!.....yeah I was paid to say that by one of my other OC’s…..

Armelle: I know! I luffs her so much! I made her all shy and lonely instead of flowery and whimsical like "stereotypical" Hawaii, because well, that just didn't feel authentic. And especially when I looked up the history and everything that the tiny, island state went through in her youngin' years made me sad and want to hug her even more!
*huggles her tightly*

Random: Oh wow, that's just amazing. Amongst the sinking of Atlantis and the Vallisca axe murders, this is still a tragic mystery. But the merging with a local tribe's theory seems the most logical, and if there's documented evidence, then why are people still disputing this?! lol

Yeah. It's great you taking being a military man so seriously, but you should visit the rest of your family besides your neighbors for more reasons than work.
Also, Lili may or may not visit later. After all, she's got a friend over now. Although, Leah, she may try pushing food to you just like Georgia did. But that's just because Lili hates to waste resources rather than feels the need to cook obsessively and stuff people until they pop like a goldfish. xd

Because it's still just a theory. Same with Black Beard living in Bath, NC. There is also claim of seeing his ghost there searching for his missing head after he was beheaded.
