"Because.." She had thrown the sword away behinde her and was knelling to him. She was watching the pooling blood from the wound. She had only healed something that bad once. That had been Aiden when she was ran through and she herself had almost died. "Your life is worth more than mine or Sets.. because your real and i am not. I am only a wephon.." He would feel her power it didn't take the pain first he was going to wish it had but she wasn't good enough for that. The wound would ache even more as her power went to restore the lung. She was pouring massive amounts of power into him. Even then she didn't know if she could clear the lung enough to fully heal it.

"Shut up Matachi." She said softly as she pushed more power into him. Her breath was quickly comeing more quicker like she was running a race. She knew what she was doing she would never see Set this life time. Never know that kind of love, it didn't matter that story the three of them was what Set and Katherine didn't want. He would die when she did and maybe that lifetime he would find away. She felt herself slipping away as more power was pushed into him. Aiden's had been easy there power was the same she could weave it into her already healing body to make it faster. Mortals took days sometimes weeks or months to heal and speeding the process of that to her was like going three days without water. Her magic was never ment for healing and usually only good for short little things.

Katherine moved his hand from her wrist sharply. Her voice had a commanding note. "No, stop moveing around or you will die." Her voice was sharp she was useing to much power for it not to be sharp. This was different everything damaged had to be reconstructed, the lung might still be to filled with blood and fail him even after she healed him. None of this was as easy as he thought. Her face paled more now that she pushed herself far and beyhond her limit holding on to counsiousness so she could know what to do. Th lung would be done now and the wound would start to itch. "When i faint have them come to lift you carefully..stay level willow bark for your pain and a small bit of Lady's slipper for your lung only alittle. Tell them promise me you will make them do it."

"If you kill yourself what good will either one of you be to me." Her voice said sharply her purple eyes held a warning. "If you break what i done it will be a very slow death Matachi you don't want that now lay down." Even standing she countined on him closeing her eyes again to start trying once again to reconstruct what was ripped from him.

She pulled her hands away from him quickly not angerily she was upset. "Fine take nothing of me then." Her soft fragile voice was strained. he had no clue what she had given up and how hard all of this was for her. He wouldn't even let her heal him. She stod there watching him utterily confused. It was the gift thing... she gave those she loved giftss probally more than she needed and she view the healing as that. One he was throwing back in her face. "You would rather die so i would be out Set and you. With no hope at all of either one."

She went back to work on him laying him back agian. She felt fear like she had never before. Her power would make him come counious again towards the end of it so he could just cough up the rest of the blood it wouldn't be much. Before her power died she reached into his mind serching 'Set please try, i know you know why i couldn't do it.. you would have done it..come back so you can pick again.. when i have control now for this one moment. I will hold it until i can't ..just please.' she would to she would hold it not expecting a answear.

Set smiled actually looking just like Matachi. 'We wronged each other my brother. I will not go back to her.. not when i am so close to her with you.' He held out his hand waiting for Matachi to take it. 'Niether me or she wants your death, i do not envy what you might share with her for as long as i am you it is me as well'
Katherine's way failed then her power dided in him as she fell forward and to the side her power gone. Enough in her now only to keep her breathing and ragin enough to live on.
