Layna looked at him thankfully, and pulled the hoodie on. She smiled, tugging at the cloth until it was down over her stomach. "You're going to change, right?" She asked, eying his clothes with a baleful expression.

Ceon looked down at his clothes and then back up at Sen with an amused look. "Nope. Probably not. My jacket covers up most of the bloodstains and the tears." Ceon took her hand as he started to head to the door.

Layna's arms wrapped around his waist. "Uh uh...You are not going out like that." She said into his ear. "I'll haul you right back if you even try."

"Layna, love, ALL of my clothes, except for what I'm wearing, is a smoldering pile of ash underneath the trash heap that was my house. I've got nothing else to wear." Ceon started to drag Layn towards the door.

Layna snapped lightly at his ear before she let him go. "Then I'll be buying you more." She said, her grey eyes livid. She crossed her arms, and sighed, all the fight just draining from her face. There was really no sense in fighting with him.

Ceon kissed her lightly and placed his hand on her abdomen. "kay then. Let's get going." Ceon took her hand and finally managed to get her out the door. (exit: city)

Ceon just barely pushed the large cart inside the partment, letting Layna walk in before him. He set the boxes in the room they weren't using, which was almost complletely vacant. He looked at the myriad of objects that needed to be set up for the baby. "So what do we start with first?"

Layna stared at the boxes for a moment, thinking before nodding. "Since I've already cleaned up this room, thank goodness for that, we can put up the crib first." She said with a smile.

"Okay love. You should sit this stuff out. You look like you're ready to burst." said Ceon jokingly as he took out the pieces to the crib. He was glad most of the parts were already assembled, making the task only about five minutes long. He dug in another box and found the changing table.

Layna sniffed; a clear sign of sour grapes. "That was not funny, I swear, Ceon. How would you like to carry something the size of a bowling ball inside you for nine months." She hissed at him, her eyebrows raised.

"I wouldn't, which is why I'm not." Ceon finished assembling the changing table as well as other things, He tossed the blanket across the crib along with a small pillow and some teething rings. He then walked towards Layna and jokingly said, "And the correct term would be 'watermelon', not bowling ball." Ceon put his hands to Layna's abdomen and smiled as he felt a kick here or there.

Layna crossed her arms. "I don't think I like to believe it heavier than that." She said crossly, a smile on her lips. "Just think, in a few more weeks, we'll have a bouncing little wolf on our hands." But behind her eyes, where even Ceon could not see, lay a mother's fear for her child's life. If what Daiguren had said was to come to pass....her son would die.

"If you keep growing at this rate, it may just be a few days." Ceon kissed Layna gently and finished setting up the room, everything was in it's place. He stretched his arms and let out a dog-like yawn. "I'm bushed, sleep is a must do right now."

Sibyl knocked at the door of the apartment, having arrived only a few minutes after she'd sent her email in the first place. Her tracking skills were sharp and up to date since she'd been able to pull Ceon's scent from her memory in order to locate his apartment. She could also smell his mate along with the child she had and couldn't help but smile. Children, as annoying and as burdensome as they could sometimes be were very cute and most of all, full of happiness, ignorance and innocence. "Hey Ceon, I'd say hi to your mate too but I don't know her name and I'd say hi to the baby but I don't know his name either." She realized she was calling through the door but she wasn't being all that loud.
