 Esmeralda Cryptmaw Esme was wandering the campus getting a feel for her new home, finding where everything was, and most importantly finding the spots people were at most. Esme saw people walking around and talking to people not much else was going on. Boring. Soon Esme saw a girl who was just watching, how boring who wanted to just stand and watch people? What was the point of that? Esme walked up to her looked her up and down and chuckled "Isn't that boring?" A mocking type voice coming threw. "You know just standing on the sideline watching, doing nothing. Does not sound fun to me." A slight chuckle afterward.

Hearing a voice chuckling beside her, Reya shifted her gaze towards the holder of it. She blinked a few times, not actually expecting anyone to come up to her as it was, unnatural. She was so used to being by herself and rarely ever approached that the act almost startled her. The grip on her notebook tightened as a screaming howl resounded around her. It was a sound of death, and not of someone being murdered. It was the sound made by a crazed maniac that reveled in the act of harming others. A scream of a true beast. Her face never let on that she had heard something so frightening, even as her knuckles began to lose color from her grip. When the screaming subsided, she peered back into the girl's face. " It's something I prefer; people watching. Besides, why get involved in a squabble that has nothing to do with me?" Her voice was calm the entire time, never giving way to what she had just heard, or that it even bothered her. " And that scary looking woman might do something unsavory. She seems..." Reya paused as she tried to think of the right word. Tapping a finger against her chin, she looked off for a moment as she thought. " Authorative. I don't need problems on my first day." Her words were not exactly those of a girl raised in the everyday world. She spoke with a calm but firm tone and placed her words in ways that seemed like she was raised in a well mannered home. Even her posture was straight, shoulders square and her head held high. She was definitely not a street rat, or even middle class. However, status never mattered to her.

Esmeralda Cryptmaw Esme looked at the girl and laughed the way she held herself was utterly annoying to Esme. She held her head high like everyone was below her. "You talk weird." Esme said referring to the verbiage this girl was using. "Isent watching getting yourself involved in a way?" Esme said with a slight roll of her eyes. "I mean if your watching you must wonder what is going on." Esme said with the same mocking tone. After continually looking at the girl she continued to dislike the girl even more, she had no reason at all to dislike her Esme just did. "Does authority scare you?" A laugh following "what's the worst they could do? Give you detention? Oh no."

She shook her head, her long red hair swaying at her knees. " No at all. But why bother? What would my involvement do to the situation? I don't see your point in wanting to get involved; I wouldn't gain anything from it. No enjoyment, no atonement, no acknowledgement." She gently pushed aside a few bangs that had fallen into her blue eyes. This person, this girl, was most definitely seemed the type to get all of that from something of the fight that just occurred. Reya silently wondered to herself as to why. What was the point of getting involved if there was no outcome that benefited you? The idea made her think of her parents. They were successful because they got involved in something that made sense for them; they got something out of it. How do the rich make their millions? By doing things that are beneficial to themselves and nothing more. It was that way of thinking that raised her up till now. Her eyes widened a fraction suddenly from the indifference they had been before. Swirling around the girl, whose name she still hadn't received, was a thick, ominous black mist. It hissed around her with taunting, malicious intent. Why were these things bothering her? Why was she plagued with such horrible things? It felt like her sins were trying to reap her. Taking in a deep breath, she calmed herself and the mist disappeared. " Would you have gotten involved if you had arrived ealier?" She needed to keep her calm. She could never show that she was bothered by something, it was improper. At all times she had to be the perfect lady. Her knuckles only grew whiter as she thought back to her lessons.

 ~ ~~~ ~ Effie wasn't used to new beginnings, having been born and raised her whole life in a small town, but she felt like she was actually ready as she took her first steps off of the bus in which she had been cooped up in for eight hours. Her black shoes clicked as she took a light step onto the basic grey concrete of the school campus.
She sighed, already slightly missing the family she had left behind.
'this is my future...' she reminded herself as she straightened her the crumpled edge of her skirt, 'plus I can see them during the holiday breaks, or they can come up and visit for a few days.'
She opened one of her bags and pulled out a small packet of paper, consisting of her schedule, classes, and a map of the campus. She had asked her parents to sign her up before she arrived at the school, so she would not have to take the time to register in the office. She was slightly impatient, and had a distaste for waiting.
She quickly surveyed the area around her. Trees, grass, buildings, people.
Everything seemed normal to her.
She began watching two girls, one of which looked bothered by the other. She questioned whether or not she should approach them, but figured that they were probably busy.
'Maybe they know each other...'
For all she knew, they were having a moment. If she approached she would be interrupting them, and that would make her look stupid.
She definitely didn't want to be perceived as stupid by her new classmates.
She sighed, and just decided to watch. She found a bench that was fairly shaded, and settled down.
She figured if anyone wanted to talk to her they would just come up, so she placed her bags beside her feet and just watched the girls with a solemn face.

Esmeralda Cryptmaw Esme shook her head looking at the girl, wondering what she did in her free time Esme wondered if the girl had ever been to a party Probably not she thought to herself with a chuckle. "Because it's funny? Watching people become angry is great. It give you power." Esme told her with a smile. Esme soon noticed another girl enter the school gates and begin to watch them, creepy. Esme turned back to the girl she had been talking to "Probably, why not?" A smirk on her face.

~ ~~~ ~ Effie watched as the blonde girl looked at her and looked away, and began to realize she was overstepping her boundaries. She got up and straightened her clothes again, quickly deciding she was bored.
She looked outwards onto the field, and decided that it would be a good way to relinquish her boredom.
She waved to the girls, even though they probably wouldn't see her, and headed off.

" Do you honestly think anger gives you power?" Again Reya shook her head. To think in such a way, no wonder she was seeing so much more than normal. For a moment her gaze turned away from the girl, looking up towards the school. Did she really belong here? Her gaze turned back to the girl with indifference. If she truly marveled in anger and the fear that came along with it, who was she to judge? Someone set in their ways have already made up their minds. She was no different and she was no smarter. Who was she to say that her way didn't work as well? There was no way to tell; she had her way and Reya had her own. In her thoughts, she noticed the other girl, sitting by her lonesome, under the shade of a tree. The look on her face, Reya knew it well. It was a look she held herself on the day to day. Lonely, nervous, questioning. Even if she wanted to go over to the girl and keep her company, even if it were the silent kind, that would be rude to this hardheaded girl that stood before her. Turning her gaze back, she placed her notebook against her chest as she tilted her head. " Explain to me what part of it would be fun. How could harming someone possibly bring any fun to anyone that isn't a barbarian?" Why was she talking like this? Was she truly confused or had her parents brainwashing finally taken its hold?

She kind of felt like she was really wanting Kiyomi to move faster, but when Kiyomi told her to lead the way she had her hand grabbed and yanked pulling her towards the park. She would easily keep up with the girl still with a smile on her face. She was quite interested in the situation. She had to know what made this girl go into that stage. Esmeralda Cryptmaw A smirk and then a laugh came from Esme hearing the girls question "Oh no no no. The ability to cause someone to be angry gives you power. You have the power over them to make them angry with just your actions, it's quite a thrill." Esme said with a smile. Esme reached up to her hair that was braided and swept over her left shoulder and pulled out the hair band and began to then undo her braid while listening to the strange girl in front of her. "Who said I would ever physically harm them? I'm not one to hurt someone physically for no reason now a heated argument would be great that's fun, I just like to argue." Esme told her with a smile. ((My post are normally longer I'm just not doing great with my writing lately))

Reya couldn't contain herself. It was so sudden and so startling. The laugh that erupted from her throat was sweet and girly, unlike her voice which seemed so serious or bored. It had been so long since she laughed that she surprised herself. Actually, she couldn't remember the last time she had done so. Her life was so peaceful and quiet that there weren't many opportunities to do something so whimsical. Okay, that was kind of a lie, her life wasn't all that peaceful, but no one else needed to know that. Still though, she just couldn't stop herself. " There's certainly nothing like a good argument." She thought back to just the night before when she was online gaming with her inner circle. Arguments abound! But that was natural for the gamer. So many insults and petty fights between people. She only took place in such things when someone directly messed with her gamer score or a kill streak. She laughed again, finally showing a smile that had seemed so lost to her. Even though there were malicious voices shouting at her, she continued to enjoy the conversation to such a degree that she was actually able to smile. It was hard to ignore them, but she was so used to it by now that it was easier than when she was a child. Pushing those horrid thoughts behind her so they wouldn't ruin her good mood, she loosened the grip on her notebook. The glint in her eyes was finally something other than indifference, just what though, was still uncertain but it wasn't negative either way. " I'm Reya."

Esmeralda Cryptmaw Esme looked at her with a slight smile as the girl laughed, Esme wondered why she was laughing, maybe because of what she had said? Probably. "Exactly." Esme said with a smirk. Esme's hair was now completely out of its braid and now flowing down her shoulders. Esme noticed small changes in the girl standing before her mostly the smiling and her loose grip in her notebook. Soon Esme learned the girls name was Reya "My given name is Esmeralda but I go by Esme, so you can call me either or."

" Hm, I think I like Esme best." She nodded her head in satisfaction at her words. She felt a long silence from her, not minding it at all though. Quiet never bothered her because it was so rare that she was allowed a quiet moment. Fidgeting, she pushed her hair behind her ear. What could she possibly do now? She wasn't shy, never had she been; awkward maybe. Even though she had friends back home, it was so rare that she was talked too or just generally interacted with. Taking out her cell phone, she looked at the time. Oh dear! Classes would start soon and she would be late if she didn't leave soon. She let her blue eyes shift to Esme with a tired glimmer sparkling in them. Her thoughts began to float away from school as she looked at the girl and wondered just what could be going through her mind with the look she couldn't read. " Don't you think we should make our way into the school? I'm sure classes will start soon." Feeling that heavy feeling of awkwardness, she once again pushed hair behind her ear even though there was none in her way.

 Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez walked into the entrance because he was unsure of where the feeling was taking him, but his instincts told him that it was coming from the Park. He sighed and waited for a few moments, just thinking of exactly where he would go. ()
