The Count Of Monte Cristo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Count remained in the pub leaving only to bathe or do other important things. In his free time he just returned here. It was then that he received word from the man he sent to the blacksmith. He bonked the man on he head. "Are you mad! Never ever clearly tell someone what you are plotting that is when people screw you over, and you could have left out the money part. Now I feel I will be overcharged. Well, I can afford it, still mind what you say to the public." The Count said before returning to his booth. He sat in one of the corner booths where the shadows covered his face. He had thought about checking in on Safira but never really found the time to. He was torn between plots and preparations. With all his free time he was here thinking. He had even thought about things so much he considered buying the pub, but he had an island, so he didn't need to. He was running low on things to do, which meant only one thing. Now the waiting faze began. The time he would simply wait for Oban to arrive. But remembering that he also realized he had yet to ensure Oban a safe arrival. He set out to do that by ordering some of his trusted associates to put the right money in the right pockets so the right people would look the other way. Or just scare the people into submission and say it was the kings orders. Both worked for him.

IvonKeir ◣→Freedom→Has→Its→◥ ◣Price→◥ ❦ Charlotte breathed out w quiver of a chuckle, as though she had been crying for so long then started to laugh. But in her case, she felt like cry. He teased her so much that he didn't even know it. She hated him for it, but it cant be helped. That's just how he is. Emotionless... ❦ Charlotte looked back to Chris with a weak smile, just how much longer can she take his none-personality? Was she going to break because of it? Her smiled fading as she felt the sharp pain in her back. Her wings moving around more violently now, you could see the skin bulging up from the push by her wings. Soon now, any time her wings will need to break loose, but not now. ❦ For the moment, Charlotte let out a soft sigh and decided to lay down on the bed, curling up into a ball as she slowly closed her eyes. "Come on, let's get some rest before continuing on this quest..." Charlotte spoke softly towards Chris before allowing her guard down to allow herself to get some sleep.

Chris Rushlon The Wanderer It was evident from that weak and fading smile Charlotte gave him that Chris could tell she was tired... but of what? Her quest? Her past? Or perhaps it was him. All of these choices were logical conclusions, but the wanderer didn't have the patience to attempt to reveal which was the truth. Instead, his attention focused upon the words she spoke about getting rest.
"Fair enough..." he said softly as his cloak and blade were both lowered to the floor and walked over to the bed.
Despite not being told not to, and having no real reason to, Chris shifted himself into the bed beside, but not too close to, Charlotte and turned himself so that his back was facing her. He had no intention with this action, only to rest decently for a night.

◣→Freedom→Has→Its→◥ ◣Price→◥ ❦ Waking up from her slumber, she lightly pushed on Chris's shoulder to nudge him awake before hopping over him and heading out the door, where she awaited Chris to join her. Mean while, the young Spire thought to ask around about news of her father or anyone who might fit the description. Few of which told her that they saw a cloaked man had passing through here a few months ago, other say that they saw a man with in a cloak with an odd symbol passing here a few weeks before she even arrived.... ❦ Finally, Charlotte asked the owner of the tavern she stayed in and found out that the news of a silent stranger that bore the symbols of her tribe. That last he heard, the stranger went for Miasma Ruins. It's not much to go on, but its a lead nonetheless. Woth good word of knowing the whereabouts of her father, she hurried back upstairs to tell Chris the good news. Opening the door, Charlotte smiled widely. "I have a lead on where my father is! Our next stop is Miasma Ruins, I'll meet you by the docks." ❦ Without another breath, the young woman hurried back down stairs, left the building, went on to buy equipment and rations for this quest to the new land, and waited for her companion to join her at the docks. And once he did so, they would take off ((Exit))

Chris Rushlon The Wanderer The night was a dreamless one, but it helped to ease Chris' mind for a moment. After that fight with Do'Roelin, the fight that could have ended his life then, he supposed that one more night of rest wasn't such a bad thing. After all, what would he gain from death... The shifting of his shoulder, however, stirred him from his slumber, glancing up in time to see Charlotte leaving the room. Seems that she was ready to continue her journey...
Sitting up, Chris stared at the door for a moment before his attention turned to the bathroom. He rarely considered using them since being a wanderer gave him strict access to such utilities, but today... he supposed he would clean himself up a little bit. Moving into the bathroom, he soon found himself stripped and in the shower, his face staring up as the warm water sprayed over his form. This quest of Charlotte's was indeed a long and arduous one, but Chris was unable to bring himself to the thought of leaving her to do it alone. If there was anything he had managed to retain that could have been labeled as an emotion, it might have been the concept of honor... and as such, he made it known to himself that he would see this through to whatever end awaited them.
When he was finished showering, Chris took a few moments to clean up his clothing... at least, what wasn't destroyed via that fight. Despite it being damp by the time he was done, the wanderer threw it upon himself, shifting out of the bathroom right as the door to the room swung open with Charlotte standing there. It... had been a long time since Chris had seen a true smile upon Charlotte's face, and yet there was one.
Hearing what she said about a lead of her father, Chris watched her disappear as the idea took its time in his head. So... she finally found a clue, a hint... This was 'looking up' for her. Reattaching his cloak and claymore upon his body, the wanderer then made his way toward the docks...

*Isacc* Frost { Isacc Frost's Workshop} Isacc scrambled around the shop. This was such short notice. He was use to custom work, not weapons for the masses. He yanked a barrel from a pile of scrap and began filling it. The first useful pile he came across were his clockwork crossbows, aptly named Clock Bows. They had a wind up multi-tension system armed by a winding arm on the side. The top of the bow was a rotating wooden barrel with 6 chambers that rotated every time a shot was fired. Reloading was easy enough. A hinge allowed it to split open at the back, exposing the chambers. Insert 6 arrows, close, wind, fire. Easy. He had about 8 of them. It would have to do. The next pile was a stealth weapon he'd created that had been unpopular due to its lack of dexterity. The device looked like a pocket watch. When the release button was pushed and the device flicked to one side with force, a wire four foot in length protruded from the round object. One side of the wire was razor sharp. It was great for cutting, but had no blocking capabilities. He grabbed a fist full and tossed them it. The last pile was composed of Shock Shields. The metal rings that stood raised above the rest of the metal were charged with lightning powered by Dengen Crystals stored on the user side of the shield. The lightning would forcefully push away any metal and give the wielder a nasty jolt. These didn't sell on account of the rarity and price of the power source. He strung about 7 of them together with a strip of leather. If only I knew where to deliver this, it'd get there sooner. I suppose I can only wait for his return.

▀ ▄ ■ □C a r e T o F i n d O u t ?□ ■ ▄ ▀ ☪ After have leaving the safety of her own home, The Queen of the brutish elves arrived in the kingdom, known for many things. Things, even Nalia knew, being with her supporters who traveled out and reported back. But to finally see for herself. It was rather an odd sight. Not many elves were seen here....Just humans. Luckily, Nalia was smart enough to dismount off of her white steed, and wear a cloak to disguise herself as a passing commoner. ☪ The only place to find information, in her experience, would be an inn or a pup. Which is exactly where the young elf headed towards. Her assistant, well guard followed shortly after. He was not wise enough to wear a cloak like she had insisted, so she ordered him to remain silence, and to look discreet. However, that is proving hard with the the stares and glances of "awe" in the human eyes, it was well proven that her wearing a cloak seems to prove to be futile. But still.... maybe the attention is on him and not her, which, Nalia thought to leave the cloak on as she entered the pup. There she noticed the count. ☪ She only heard of him through her men who reported back with the events happening. Why he was here of all places was rather interesting. For now, Nalia was tired and wished to buy a drink. So she sat by a widow and stared endlessly out the window while her guard bought the drinks and food and headed back towards her, sitting next to her. Not to be close to the queen would be a mistake on his part for not doing his job correctly. For once Nalia, wanted to know the feeling of "Normal" Not this high society. "Would you relax!" She whispered to her guard through her gritting teeth.

The Count Of Monte Cristo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Count of Monte Cristo sat at his booth watching the pub when one of the men he was currently employing approached him. The man informed him that Isacc frost had finished the order of weaponry. The Count wrote down a location and handed it to the man who then left to deliver the location to Isacc once the weapons were dropped off other men would come to collect it, all without him being directly involved. It was the best thing to do when you were planning to overthrow a King. It seemed that almost directly after his man left, Nalia walked in. She was someone who anybody could tell was used to a regal life style, something about the way she carried herself, the steps she took, and the fact she had a servant following her around. He could do the same but for him it was just an act, something he had used as a tool for his revenge it was not real. He could flip it on and off like a switch.
Monte Cristo remained in his booth which was almost directly across from hers. He did not rise to walk over to her, he barely even straightened up in his chair. She had his attention, not his intrigue. He had many things on his mind. The rightful king was in chains, he had seen him and been forced to leave him during the most recent attack. His arm had been wounded but by now had healed, and even once this was all over he had to help his friend get a curse that would leave her completely emotionless. He had a lot on his mind. But for the moment he was focused on Nalia, going to a pub like this was not always safe fore people clearly or royalty, which was one reason he had picked a booth in the shadows. It made him look more common.

IvonKeir ▀ ▄ ■ □C a r e T o F i n d O u t ?□ ■ ▄ ▀ ☪ From the opening of her booth were a couple of stragglers looking for coin, or something to past the time with, they seemed like common thugs to her though, and unworthy of her attention. One of them took a step forward out of the small group and slammed his hand down on the table. Asking her to come with them, that they wanted some "fun." Nalia remained silent, which of course irritated the man. Her guard placed his hand on the hilt of his sword but Nalia placed her hand over his own, motioning her gaze to him. This, the guard knew she had this covered and left his hand away from his blade. ☪ The thug then grabbed Nalia's hood hoping to grab some hair but only managed to pull her cloak straight off her shoulders, Now revealing her elven armor, the male stumbling back to see Nalia already out of her seat, with her fist coiled back and swung forth, making a rather powerful blow, knocking the man to his rear end. Now, standing defiantly, everyone stared at her, knowing who she is. The other two thugs were hesitant but came at her regardless of her stature. Nalia jumped in the air with grace, and drop kicked the thug on her left then spun around to dodged the other thugs knife, and came back in to grapple him from behind. her hands already in position to snap his neck. ☪ "Who sent you?"Nalia demand in irritation. The man down right pissed himself, whimpering out, that the one she knocked out thought she was rich and thought to take her back and do away with her. They didn't know who she was till now. Further more disgusted that these pathetic humans thought to steal away with her angered her more, so she spun the man around and head butted him out cold. After taking a few breaths to calm herself down, she turn to her guard. "Let's visit the king and ask why this town's streets are unsafe...I remember not of these...unpleasant encounters.." She stated, her guard rose up with a salute and headed out of the door first. Before Nalia left, She gave a rather long glance towards the count, assuming he knew of something she did not. For now, she turned her back to him and headed out of the door.

The Count Of Monte Cristo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Monte Cristo watched the whole ordeal. When she left he knew where she was going. He could not let her get there. The King had to remain uninformed. He was a brat that believed he owned the world and if it was brought to his attention that the streets were unsafe in certain parts he would crack down on them all, that would make a rebellion much, much more difficult. The Count left not long after her and used his knowledge of the streets to eventually find himself in front of Nalia. He turned a corner and there she was. "You should stop. Not every street can be safe and it is certainly not going to be safe when a new rich person picks a pub to sit in." The count explained. He did not want to physically have to stop her, he was a good person who had made some bad choices in his past, but they had done to much. If Oban was caught because the King started paying attention they would be screwed, then again it was likely Nalia would be in danger if she went to the king. He may not like elves in his kingdom.

▀ ▄ ■ □C a r e T o F i n d O u t ?□ ■ ▄ ▀ ☪ While in mid stride with her frustrations, she was instantly stopped by none other than the count himself, exclaiming of the streets...and the worry in his tone concerned her. Was the king she grew up to learn about in danger or did something else happen? And how rude of him to address her in such manners! When she was stopped though, her guard placed his hand on the hilt of his sword once more, only to have Nalia extend her left hand to dismiss his actions. ☪ "Ah, so the count can talk...and such rude manners to....." She started out teasing then ended with a scolding. She swayed her hips as she further enclosed the distance between herself and the count and gave him a far more intense expression. "You have a reason for your bold actions Count?" She asked with concern in her tone. ☪ "Know that my patience are running thin, and I have no time for pleasantries or your foolish game.....You either explain or I walk...." Anyone can tell that this Queen can be easily angered, she means well and she wishes to see the kind king to confirm an alliance as well as her concern for the safety of innocents who may be in harms way of thugs. If a kingdom is not ruled with love and a firm fist then your not ruling at all. At least in her view anyhow.

The Count Of Monte Cristo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Monte Cristo smiled. Such a foolish Queen. When her guard reached for his sword so did the Count only he did not remove his hand. "Do not expect me to address you as royalty in a kingdom that is not your own and especially not in a place like this. You may have missed this but Lucheston Sorrian is no longer the King, the man you seek to meet will not take kindly to anything you have to say. I am asking you not to go. I do not want to be forced to stop you but be assured if I do it is for your safety." The Count explained looking at her guard.

▀ ▄ ■ □C a r e T o F i n d O u t ?□ ■ ▄ ▀ ☪ Reguardless of area, the Stat of royalty should always be treated with respect, but in this case, she would let it slide. However, what through her off of her track of mind was the fact that the king she knew and loved was usurped by his own son?!.....How....why!? "I' cor? Sina na!" Nalia whimpered out a cry. She covered her lips with her right hand and turned her head away. ☪ "Gis, llie shan n'alaquel ent amin nil aul honi, llie nyar ho nae amin ent feith nesh!" Nalia spoke in her elven tongue, and demanded the Guard to set off in that instant. The guard saluted and stormed off in the opposite direction from whence she had originally arrived from. She then glared back at the count as if ready to knock his lights out. ☪ "When did this happen? And WHY!? How could you or anyone in the matter let such a king as him be taken over by such filth!" She exclaimed in his direction, punching the brick wall next to her, leaving quite the crater to the side of the building. Removing her fist from the indent of the brick wall, as rubble rolls down and little off of her knuckles, she took in a deep breath trying to calm herself down.

The Count Of Monte Cristo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I was not here when it happened, and from what I understand the people did not expect the boy to become a tyrant. But by going to meet with the king and complaining about the quality of his streets you are putting at risk something that I and several others have worked very hard to create, I can not let you do that. And so I am here talking to you as rudely as possible to distract you." Monte Cristo explained. He then realized it was probably not best to tell her what he was doing so he came up with a new question. She had known who he was from the start why? "How did you know who I was?"

▀ ▄ ■ □C a r e T o F i n d O u t ?□ ■ ▄ ▀ ☪ Taken a bit from his last statement. Nalia covered her face with her right hand, masking her smile, as she tried not to break out in uncontrollable laughter. Sliding her hand down, her smile was shortened to a small grimace expression. This situation was serious, but how could she take him seriously after that comment? ☪ The Queen looked away from the count as he asked how she knew of him. It gave her memories of her childhood. "In my earlier years, My father knew of the king, we had a strong loving alliance, and through him another king rose, the king you know now, another man I have known for a long time. I have never seen him in persons, but time and time again we would share our resources, my men would tell me of their visits....I have found time to leave with everything else at matter....An army of the undead over throwing a city, a troll infestation slaughtering innocence, declaring war amongst everyone who appose them...And now.." Nalia trailed off. "During my guards visit, they mentioned a civilian by your stature, so honestly I was guessing....." She continued on dismissing her sadden expression. ☪ Nalia looked to the side, continuing with her hurt expression as she remembered about her men. "I told my guard to prepare my men and to wait for further instructions....Need you ever need them, let me know.....For now, you will inform me of everything that had happened up to now....you owe me this much..." Nalia added as she looked at him in a way she thought never to look at anyone....A women who misses someone very dear, she was angry, in fact blinded with rage!....But, most of all hurt and guilty...She wished she had been there to have stopped this!
