I looked straight into Knight's eyes and thought about myself. "Well I'm an orphan. I originated on the light side but, uh,", I strained to look for the right words. "we were attacked and I was taken by some creatures. I was then taken in by the Master, my father. Sort of. He made me half cat like him and I grew up there. I am the strongest of our tree next to him and strongest in our village. Other than that, my father hates me and I like to go on adventures. I also personally like to watch the sunset." I grinned and thought about the days when I used to sit there in the giant tree at the border and watch the sun go down.

I nodded as I listened to her. "I am also an orphan. I have never had any parents or family, simply the earth I was formed from. As for my creator, I know not of what happened to him, so I am on my own." I look at my hand, and notice small holes forming in it. "I may not be with you long. My body is formed from the darkness, so as we get closer to the Light, I fear my body will fall apart."

I stared at Knight's hand, scared. As quickly as I could, I formed a ball of dark magic in my hand. Then I slid it into my palm and squeezed it into a liquid, pouring it into my glass. Then I lifted the glass to Knight. "There you go. Drink that.", I said hopefully.

I nod, and drink up the potion. Slowly, a dark aura flows over me, and my body heals up. "It works, but I fear it's only temporary. Once we get over the border, you'll need to make something a lot stronger, and a lot more often."

I walked over, serious and solemn, taking a seat across from Yoko. "Well...... At least I was right about finding information. Freddy says the thing that attacked us is called a cliff glider. Apparently, Ours isn't the first case.... Someone is controlling them.... But they live over on the light side. I don't why they keep sending the gliders out... but whatever the reason it can't be good..." I paused, noticing the somewhat serious air I'd walked into. "Hey, what's going on?"

I nodded and smiled. "I figured as much. Thats the lowest power ball I've got, and the time it takes for me to repower varies with each strength. It should only take about 2 minutes from the small one.", I said quickly.

I nod my thanks to Yoko, but don't say anything about it to Yuima. I didn't want to concern her with my present weakness. "So, are you ready to go?"

"No... It would be wiser to stay the night somewhere..... The glider's hunt at night, which means they'll be out and about in a couple of hours...." I sighed, and nodded, wanting to go now but knowing it would be safer to wait.

I nodded, and followed her to the main desk. But then a question came up. "Will I be rooming with you two tonight?"

I looked at him curiously. "I don't see why you can't. It's your choice Knight." I shrugged, waiting for whoever was supposed to be on desk duty come by. When I'd been here before Freddy always had some one around... Maybe not tonight.

Knight got the attention of someone at the desk, and soon we had a room set up. I was still wondering if it was wise for a guy to be rooming with two girls, but I still went with them into the room.

I yawned, not really realizing how tired I was until just now. Strange.... Didn't I take a nap earlier today? I shrugged it off, grabbing a piece of floor near the wall and laying down. I was out like a light in less than a minute.

I tried not to laugh at Knight's awkwardness and followed them to a room. Yuima crashed like a boulder, but I stayed awake. The only problem I had was sleeping at night. I had to be totally worn out. I tried to think of something that I could use my strength on but could think of nothing.

I sat down beside Yoko, and stared out the window. The Light side was close, and the light was blinding. I could feel the potion from earlier starting to wear off, and the holes were starting to reopen in me. "Yoko, if I faded away while we're over there, would you cry for me?"

I stared at Knight. I didn't know what to say until I realized I was blushing. "O-Of course I- I would", I stammered, looking into Knight's eyes. "But I would do everything in my power to stop it." I looked at Knight's hands and saw the holes. Quickly I made another potion, but this one much stronger. "Here.", i said quickly.
