I would have to say Al as well.... but it's hard to decide...
I mean... yeah, he's got alchemy, but he has to consantly draw the transmutation circles.... he's no Edward... sweatdrop
I mean I picture this scenario of Al drawing a circle... Steiner just chops off Al's arms.... then what? Al draws with his feet? And there's also equivalent exchange to think about... what would he transmute? rocks? confused
There's alot to consider, so I chose a tie.

But even though you don't see Al fight much in the series, you see Ed, and we know Ed could never beat Al when they were sparring, so Al is good even without alchemy. And with it... Well yeah, he could transmute rocks. What's wrong with that?

And I know, Ed could never beat Al while sparring... but they never used Alchemy... and lets face it... Ed's short. Steiner on the otherhand... isn't. It's really a tough choice to make, there's just too many factors to consider.

I'd have to ask which Al we are talking about? The original or the armor one? For the sake of a farer fight we'll go with the armor bodied Al. Now I think it would be an awesome fight to watch but ultimately I think Stiener would come out on top. For two reasons alone, the first one being that Stiener is the only one out of the 2 that has actual training in how to fight, I've had martial arts lessons but when it comes to fighting in armor.... you need more. The second reason can be explained in one word and no more..... Shock! What else can I say... it's an ultimate attack. I think that attack alone would pwn anyone/thing that pissed off Stiener enough.

Turks, no question. Leblanc is, after all, something of a wimp.

Squall. Gippal is undoubtably a very cool character, but he wasn't all that tough without getting a machina to fight for him.

Gippal. Just because of his style. He's got that "I'm so cool I can be goofy and people will like me" vibe. Plus, the gun is cool.

Cataera This may seem really baka, but who the hell is Gippal? An Al Bhed man who is a former member of the Crimson Squad, An off-shore link from the Crusaders, He is now the leader of the Machine Faction which is stationed in the Djose Temple, He is old friends with Nooj ((Youth Leage Leader)), Baralai ((New Yevon Praetor)) & Paine ((Former Recorder / Camerawoman for the Crimson Squad, Now a member of the Sphere Hunting Group: The Gullwings)). He uses a Machina Launcher styled weapon, It fires off Mortars onto the Opponent, It uses different types of Ammo for different styled effects....basically think of him as a sorta Blonde haired, Pink & Purple wearing, Talkative version of Irvine Kinneas from Final Fantasy VIII. Gippal also taught Paine to speak Al Bhed, It also appears that he at some stage had a relationship with Rikku ((Cid the leader of the Al Bhed's Daughter)), Yet Gippal likes to call Rikku: "Cid's Little Girl" Instead of Rikku, Apparently he's a major Player in Spira. Apparently he used to be friend's with Buddy & Brother ((Cid's son, Older Brother of Rikku)), Yet Brother was mad at him and didn't want to help Gippal and the Machine Faction when they had a Monster Outbreak caused by Vegnagun & Shuyin *Possesing Baralai* Pulling the Summoning Fayth into the Farplane Abyss. ((Irvine is the easiest way of describing Gippal for those who do not know him.)) [That should help.]
