Sabine watched from her perch as the mouse saw Mikey kill a hunter, then shifted into a human and knocked the canteen of blood out of his hand. Sabine looked hungrily at the blood leaking out of the canteen, but shook her head and suppressed the urge to seize it. "Who are you?!" the human suddenly yelled at Sabine. Startled, Sabine slid backwards into the shadows, all the while knowing that hiding was futile, as she had already been spotted. Damn.... "Watch out, Sabine! It's a shifter!" Mikey yelled worriedly at her before vanishing. A shifter.... Oh, now I recognize that human's scent! She's a shape-shifter! ...Wait, a shape-shifter? Oh, crap. A low growl escaped Sabine's throat as she backed up further into the shadows and unsheathed her sword. It glittered as beams of sunlight bounced off of its blade, illuminating the shadowy spot. "I am Sabine, as you've probably figured out," she snarled at the shape-shifter. "Who are you?"

Sabine scowled, but turned back into her normal form and jumped out of the tree, sticking the landing to perfection. "Nice to meet you, Chico," Sabine said as sincerely as she could and shook Chico's hand. I thought shape-shifters were supposed to be evil. I still don't fully trust this girl, but she seems friendly enough for now. If she tries to pull something, I'll be ready. Sabine instinctively clutched the handle of her sword, but scolded herself and slid it back into its sheath. You know what they say, she thought to herself. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

I growled. My head was splitting open with the intensity of the voices. "join us...the dark side is waiting" i had no clue who was yelling at me, and now there was more people yelling! i ran towards the noise, staying in the shadows as soon as i saw the size of the coven of vampires ahead of me. they seemed to be in an arguement, and i wanted no part of a fight right now.
