"Edward...What about Lily? How do you think she'll feel about this? She doesn't even know he's DEAD!" She eyed him before sighing, deciding to calm herself. "I'm sorry, but Lily deserves to see the baby one last time. Dead or Alive."

Edward hugged her, "I know she does, but either we burn him or you go back with him. I am not letting you stay here by yourself. That is an Order." he spoke the last four words with the authority of the Leader he is.

Dr. Avarice had done all he could. He hadn't bothered changing into anything, rather tying a silk robe around him that hung open around his chest. He could hear Gregory outside, pacing. They were both worried about Kirai.
"A doctors work is never done." He mumbled, running the back of his hand down the side of her cheek. "Come now, wake up...you have to. Remember? After we're done with all this, we can settle down." He watched her and actually felt tears sting his eyes. He was an Alpha though and dammit, he wouldn't cry. So, he chose the alternative and layed beside her.
Without his glasses, of course, he couldn't see, but he didn't need to see to admire Kirai.

Kirai woke up in a bit of a daze, then lifted her hand and gently put it on his head, closing her eyes again for a moment while doing so.

He lifted his head, not expecting her to wake, but sighed with relief when she did. "Kirai...Thank god you're awake. Are you going to be alright? I've done everything I could to fix you up..."
