The woman approached an old cottage with a straw roof, made of logs. The door creaked open to reveal a dark room. "After you," she said, gesturing.
The door was open to reveal a blackness behind it. Nothing could be seen.
Tsukiko, still within the castle mirror, touched the surface of the mirror. "I hope they're alright. If something happened, I'd never be able to forgive myself."
((I see the potential in this too! I wanna continue, it actually has a good plot to progress with))

Leon bowed to the old women and layed his weapon down on the ground outside. He stepped inside with his head bowed. It was tradition and polite of Joulas to hold there head down in another's dwelling if they were to do business, unless he were excused otherwise by the owner. He knelt in the corner of dark, placing stacks of coins of silver and copper onto the ground. "I have a fortune from the forge, but what you require money wise I must know before I total the money. No negotiations, your price will remain firm." Leon's group was know for straight forward trading. They sold fairly, and bought what was offered to them, never changing the pay.

The old woman nodded, smiling. "No, I don't want money," she said, looking kindly at the Joulas. She now closed the door. And in this process, every trace of light seemed to vanish for a moment. As the woman's eyes adjusted, they appeared to be in a cave at the edge of a sloping canyon. It didn't seem right; the outside of the cottage was much smaller and couldn't possibly contain this giant cavern. Not only that, but there appeared to be no end in sight.
The woman gave the others a smile. "Imagine that this is all a game. I'll explain the rules right now: you need to avoid illusions and gather rewards that are scattered throughout this 'game.' However, there are illusions within this realm that appear to be real. Some of them are real, and some are only smoke and mirrors. There are also various magical objects. I'm sure the incense is in there somewhere; I actually think I've encountered it before. Unfortunately, my body is not fit to venture down with you, and a reverse aging spell would require things I can't acquire right now. So you all will be on your own. Avoid the illusions in whatever form they present themselves. Good luck, I hope you find what you are seeking."
((Ok that was probably kinda confusing... tell me if it isn't clear...))

Leon stepped back at the sudden change of surrounding. He felt for his halberd but remembered it was outside. His senses were blurred from the switch of texture so he gripped his head and sat down. "Will, I am without my halberd, but no fear, we will just have to rely on my fist might and your magic." Leon stood after a few minutes and focused his sense. He took out a rope and began to tie it around himself. "We should bond ourselves for safety." Leon handed him piece of the rope.

((Woops, I haven't posted in a while. But what about Alcolyte?))
Taking the rope, Will bound himself to Leon and said "Ready when you are." Looking at Leon he fell into a deep thought. Illusions seemed strange and misleading, but there had to be something else. He thought of something but decided to wait until they were deep into the cave.

"Good luck to you both," the woman said, and stepped backward into darkness.
The cave stretched up as far as a three story building, and even wider on the sides. Not too far from the place they'd entered, it split into three smaller passages. In one of the passages, the one on the far right, a green glow emitted from something that was too small to be seen from this distance.
In another passageway, a red sharp light blinked methodically. It illuminated another passage within the passage. This whole cave must be a giant maze...

Will thought for a moment and then turned to Leon. "May I suggest that path?" he asked as he pointed to the darkest path. Squinted behind his glasses, the child just barely saw a blue glow, faint, but still slightly visible. He began walking when he tripped on a stone and fell onto the ground. He hadn't fallen hard and when he got up, there were only a few scratches on his palm visible as he brushed himself off. He looked behind him at the blind being behind him. When he turned to head to the tunnel, he saw a spider drop from string in front of his face. Will stepped back with widened eyes. When he looked around, he noticed that he was surrounded by spiders. Will screamed as they appeared to close in on him. Then he remembered what the old woman had said. His head down, Will took a breath and looked up with a smile. He touched one of the spiders, knowing full well it was merely a trick played on him.

The woman chuckled. "Good job, young one," she said. She appeared to be fading away, but her voice remained. However, her voice would soon vanish as they progressed deeper into the cave.
Just then, a hole in the ground seemed to appear, carving itself into the floor with no sound whatsoever.

"Good Will, do not let the illusions take advantage of you." Leon began to wade through the spiders, forging a path for his companion. The spiders began climbing into the hole in the floor. Leon saw three creatures before them. A coiled snake, a sitting wolfhound, and a perched finch bird. They each gazed at the two with eyes of what seemed betrayal and knowledge both at once. The snake slithered across a ridge at the edge of the blackened hole. The bird dove down into the pit. The wolfhound stood. Leon thought carefully, a trial of trust and deception? The snake took a clever way, yet the ridge could collapse under them. The bird seemed to gesture for them to climb down and back up, but how far down was this hole? And the wolfhound stood, obediently. Leon approached the wolf hound and placed his hand on the dog's head. The large animal then turned, and made a large bound and landed in the center of the hole. "Another illusion." Leon then walked through the center, tugging Will along with him.
