Shoo? When we came to bring you hgome? Besides... it is one of ours you are seeking is it not? The Master woudl love ot have you track him down...and hold him long enough this time to join our little family.

*The panthers kept coming closer. Three, four.... six... eight. And the Priestess in front of him. She smiled and extended her hand*

This used to be a great great city. Filled with men who thought the sun god could save them from what came. He did not help them. Did not save our people from the Spaniards who came to our land. He did nothing. Those that escaped were those who came to the master, and in time brought us, their avatars to him also. Join us Iden. Come back home. Come back to gifts and pleasures and enjoyment instead of trekking through this place where you do not belong. The Master is even willing to overlook your hand in the rebellion.

Your master would love a lot of things...

He slowly shook his head, listening to the woman spew her propaganda. His expression was impassive, keeping his feelings well hidden.

So when gods fail...you turn to devils? Your offer is generous...

It was all carefully put. Iden's tone, his face, all were kept up to make it seem like he was beginning to cave in. In truth, he might have been...for all his disgust at his actions, his service to the Wyrm had brought him the greatest pleasure he had ever known. It was a hard offer to pass up. Slowly, he reached out, and his hand touched hers.

And then he jerked with the fell speed he was known for. His body twisted, ripping her from her feet and hurling her into the mass of her kinfolk over his shoulder.

But ******** YOU. My soul is my OWN. No god, no devil, and NO MASTER will claim it! C'mon you pukes, lemme show you what you're missing out on. Your precious master ain't got nothin' on this!

He roared his defiant challenge, holding his arms up and inviting them to come to him.

No master? What of she whom you serve so loyally? Who gave you NOTHING but pain.. and has hidden your own pleasure from you!

*The woman spat back at him as she thudded into two of the panthers, three behind him about to psinrG*

NO! Let us let him REMEMBER before we give him up for his stupidity... OUR master never took away your memories of pleasure... let me show you what your Cainite master has taken...

*He was in their place of power. The blood and sacrifice made it easy enough to lift the bar on his thoughts, though they couldnt get into his head as such.*

She invaded your head and hid things from you. How much MORE do you think she has robbed you of, or changed? Sucgh an evil woman who wont even let you have the sanctity of your head... all our master asked was service in exchange for pleasure....

*MEmories of his frenzy would be unlocked, the incident with Roan restored. Clearly the woman thought this would make him turn to the Wyrm once more*

Come home...

He stepped back, teeth bared. The words she spoke were biting, and had him enraged from square one. But when he felt the presence in his head, he bit back a curse and shook his head vigorously.

Then he began to chuckle. Soon it was a full blown laugh. His eyes eased shut, and he shuddered as he slowly let himself gaze upon the woman he had shoulder tossed.

Alright. Alright! You win. I'll go punch her in the face when this is done. But you know what? You're STILL ******** STUPID. What makes your boss any worse? He who sticks his fingers in one's mind and rapes it until it's what he wants...yeah. ******** that. Put up or shut up.

His grin was still fixed. He was pissed, no doubt. And Roan would certainly hear from him when he got back, certainly. But he was pissed, and that meant he was spoiling for a fight. These twisted cats would give it to him, or he'd find someone who would.

He held his hands out once again, waiting for them to come. He needed no weapons, not for this kind of brawl.

Drag him down, if he wont come willingly... he WILL take us to Javos...

*The Priestess stepped back and the eight cats moved in. Strong and agile, the panthers would all go for him in turn, so as not to hit each other with their powerful claws as they tried to slash, grab and pin him, and if that failed, to knock him down the pyramid back the way he had come.

The Priestess had moved far back, halfway down the hill already, and words were dropping from her lips under her breath*
PostPosted: Wed Jul 22, 2009 3:22 pm

Oh no you don't...

The cats were nothing. When they lunged, Iden threw himself forward in a mad rush. The force of impact would harm him as well, as the devil before him tore his chest open with a slash of claws. But that did not stop Iden from carrying them both over the edge, where they would tumble to earth. With a solid pair of hammerblows, Iden forced himself free, and drew his firearm.

The woman was his priority. She would need to be silenced, first and foremost. To that end, Iden opened fire with the ROMAN as he fell, tracing exploding rounds up the steps in an attempt at blowing her apart.

*A panther would block his shot that should have connected, falling with glassy eyes as the Priestess hissed at Iden.
Another panther lay with a broken leg at his side from falling off the pyramid with him and providing a squishy landing, but the Priestess had achieved her goal. The jungle came alive.

Iden may recognise it from his time as Seig, when Javos had called the entire forest in Germany to him, while running from the phatasm of his past. Well, now the woman was doing it. Creatures came out of nowhere, flocks of birds divebombing Iden, insects leeching at his back, plants trying to ensnare his limbs.
And the six still standing panthers would creep towards him again, while she leapt gracefully into the tree coated in the victims blood, her form changing in mid air to that of a truly beautiful panther with clear blue eyes. Though a Priestess of the Wyrm, unlike the ones he'd had fun tearing apart some time ago, she'd never have been under his claws - she was Ceilican and therefore special*

PIN HIM DOWN!
PostPosted: Wed Jul 22, 2009 3:34 pm

And here I am without my firebombs.

The ROMAN thundered his retort as the jungle threw itself in at the enemy's side. He was grinning like a fiend, and aiming for the panthers alone. With the woman missing, he would be forced to aim elsewhere. With his other limbs, Iden scrabbled at the moss on the edifice. To fall back into the jungle itself was nigh suicidal. He'd have better luck on the steps of the temple, even if it gave them power. He needed to keep a step ahead, and it would prove to be of extraordinary difficulty.

BRING IT ON!

*Paws, claws and teeth would come at him from everywhere. Unless he shot a limb critically, the heart, or the head, the panthers didnt stop. Meanwhile, the roots of the tree nearby were trying to get at Iden and stop him.

Above, in the tree itself, the Priestess clung to the tree by her claws. Around the sacrifice on the alter, a large glyph was starting to light up. And that familiar presence could now be felt as another flock of birds divebombed Iden*

Heh...all the world...

It was a desperate fight for life. Iden knew he could not win. So he fired until the ROMAN's slide locked, then burst into a spray of crimson. As a mist, he flew upwards, immune to the claws and talons of the enemy. When he had reach a height where the winds could carry him, he reformed with wings. As a hawk, he could carry himself great distances, and so he'd lead them on a merry chase. After all...the Ceilicans were bound to the land, weren't they? Even if their powers extended skywards, they could only follow but so far...

*A howl of sheer ANGER followed him, the jungle not willing to give him up, trees and vines reaching for him one last time as he took hawk form, before the jungle lost, rage only following him as the Priestess screamed her frustration.

For now... it was over. One thing was sure though... the jungle knew all that moved in it, and the Priestess had wanted to find Javos through Iden. Clearly... he was not in the jungle, which meant when he said he was going home... he must have meant an Aztec settlement NOT hiddenstill by jungle*
PostPosted: Wed Jul 22, 2009 3:54 pm

The hawk shrieked in triumph. Iden had not expected to walk away from that one, and the thrill of the escape made a high the likes of which death could not muster. It took a living body like that of the hawk to make such things feel so glorious, and flight would never grow old.

The jungle would hear his call, and hear him crowing as he flew back to where the river lay. He would follow it out, though it was an inevitability that he'd need to land and walk before too long.

*As and when he did land, so it would all start over. The jungle annoying, something watching, the feel of it creeping closer. At least now he knew what it was, and that it could only track him in cat form.

The risk would be going to ground for the day with his enemies too close. If they found his resting spot again.... he would not wake up so nicely the next night. For now, he had 36 hours head start almost, as nothing was near him in the jungle and his pursuers would take some time to realise he was heading along the river again. But form here on in, they'd start catching him up*
PostPosted: Wed Jul 22, 2009 4:11 pm

Oh, he knew they were following him. They could follow him to the ends of the earth, for all he cared. He had spent a week on foot slogging it to this part of the jungle...his flight had earned back three days of that. If things kept up, another two days and he could fly freely back to civilization, and laugh in the face of the Wyrm-priestess should ever they meet again.

*It was too far. The Priestess and her tribe were faster than he, especially in the jungle. They knew the paths and byways, could travel in the trees and by day as well as night. They were adept hunters and could keep themselves full and energetic as they chased him.

The second night after his escape... when he rose from his earthern bed, he'd rise RIGHT into the trap waiting for him - a large net woven with haemox, strapped down over his resting spot*

If you try and meld, we will salt the earth so you never rise again.
Luther, Aurel... be ready. This one is slippery. If he tries ANYTHING.. zap him.

*two men moved forwards. Big, butch and scarred, they were clearly two of the panthers and both had rather prominant tasers in their hands. Behind them, it was the Priestess who was talking*

The master is most put out at the delay you have caused us, Iden. He is occupied with other things which means... you and I get to know each other better, all the way to Mexico. Wont that be nice?
