One of them, through and through. As the vines shot upwards for him, he alighted, not a smart move in such a small space. He had been fairly normal looking before, but now a pair of large downy white wings had burst from his back and one mighty beat of them had brought him out of the range of the vines though just barely. Feathers torn free in their grasp drifted towards the horned girl as another flap of his wings sent him soaring backwards.
And there stood Roan.
Gabriel's heart was racing in his chest and he thought it might burst free. Frantically he searched for another exit, an escape. Anything. But the bar had no windows big enough and Roan stood in the doorway. Her aura made him wince quite visibly and the black that tipped some of his lower feathers suddenly spread as if told to do so by her presence, staining a small portion of once white wings.
She looked different, very different, but there was no mistaking her for another. Eyes wide with terror, he began to come to the realization that he was trapped in the building.

Daegonna was surprised by the wings that burst from his back, and cast out her hands, about to send bolts of ice sailing at the strange being, when Roan stepped through the door. Daegonna clenched her hands, crushing the half-formed ice. But the magic needed somewhere to go. The ice exploded outward in a swarm of tiny ice butterflies, wings glittering and tinkling as they fluttered about.
The girl smiled in awe and wonder, memories flooding back. She stood there, hands raised as the little ice butterflies fluttered about, occasionally alighting on her fingers or horns.
Roan had things under control, so Daegonna moved out of her way, making sure she wasn't between her and her prey. She was shivering badly now, and dropped her hands, hugging herself, and rubbing her arms for warmth as she watched Roan and this strange angelic man.

Go into the kitchen and get a cup of tea, or something hot Daegonna. And get rid of those things. You need to let go, remember?
*She didnt sound angry with the girl, but neither did she take her eyes from her prey*
Gabriel. Come to me. Do not fight me my pet... how ill you have become without my touch... let me heal you, care for you and take you in once more...
*She smiled darkly and slowly wove through the tables, her hand out to him, the pounding in his chest more incessant as her will crashed into him*
I'll never leave you alone again, I promise my pet... I'll look after you... come home Gabriel. Come home...

Daegonna flinched at Roan's words, jarred from her pleasant memories by the reminder that she was pitifully addicted. She nodded, still hugging herself, and slunk off to the kitchen in search of something warm. The butterflies fell to the ground, shattering into tiny pieces, which melted in moments.
She cast the occasional glance over her shoulder, to see what Roan was up to, and returned a few minutes later with a mug of hot chocolate. She perched herself on the counter with her mug, and sipped slowly, curled up like a child as she watched her mother go about spending some quality time with her family.
Daegonna seemed to have cheered remarkably, now that she had some sugar in her, though she was still chilled. She was a little livelier now, her eyes bright and cheery.

Gabriel gasped, clutching his chest, his strength fading as he found it difficult to breath, to think.. The energy it required to keep himself aloft was great and his heart was now struggling to keep up thanks to her influence. Pain lanced through his chest and he descended because he could no longer support himself.
"What.. have you done.. to me.." He asked, his face betraying panic and confusion. Had she really this much power over him? The angelic creature crashed into a group of tables, sending chairs toppling. He struggled to pick himself up and backed up against a wall as if it could provide some shelter from the inevitable. Fingers dug into the wood paneling, leaving deep rends where he touched but of course, the wall was not going to give way so easily.
"No..... please... no.." Lips trembled as he begged in vain. Perhaps to an outsider she might sound sweet, and one might believe Roan was kind if only hearing the two requests she had just uttered. But Gabriel knew better, he knew the way she used those words, the meaning made perverse by merely being filtered through her lips.

Done to you? Ive been very bad. Leaving my poor pet all alone in the world... without care or love... and look at what has happened to you.
*She kept advancing, hand out with such a nice smiel on her face... if you didnt count her aura, or the look in her eyes. Gabriel had no way out.*
Dont make me collar you again Gabriel. Take my hand. Come home. Dont fight me, my beautiful Fallen. See, your wings are getting better already. You'll heal, pet, and be my wonderous raven once again... come to me.
*The look in her eyes said it all. Give himself up, peacefully, or she'd take him. Two guesses which would be worse, though neither would end well for the beautiful angel*

It was inevitable, wasn't it? Peace could not last, and he had gotten too comfortable in her absence. At first, he had watched every shadow, jumping at the slightest noise, edgy around anything female. She had ruined him. But when she had not come for him, he had gotten comfortable, hadn't he..? Almost bold in his defiance of her, uncaring as to the consequences as he did not think there would be any. And so he brazenly removed the markings and healed himself... and now look where it had gotten him.
He knew her well enough to know what would happen should he refuse her. The pain in his chest was almost unbearable, but he knew she would not let him die before her. He tried to move to take her hand, oh how he tried, but his body refuse to obey his commands and instead he stared at her blankly, frozen in place. His defiance this time was born of fear. Fear of her touch.. fear of the pain she would undoubtedly cause him.... and fear that.. in time.. he would grow to long for her as he once had.

*She moved up to him, not touching just yet as she leaned in to whisper just shy of his ear*
Mmm... your fear is like candy on my tongue my pet...
*THEN her hand would flash forward to grab him about the neck, head cocking to one side as she looked him in the eye*
Time to come home, toy... I have a cell just waiting for you. Until you're better. My poor sick pet. You going to obey and behave? Or do I have to TAKE you home the HARD way?

Daegonna finished her hot cocoa and slid off the counter, trotting towards Roan. She still kept out from between Roan and her 'Raven' and came to stand beside and slightly behind the Cainite Matriarch. She stuffed her hands in her duster's pockets, gnawing at her lower lip as she watched the interaction. She wasn't sure what was happening, really.
The Raven was evidently a playmate of Roan's who'd wandered off, and Roan clearly wanted him back. Daegonna decided Roan probably wanted some quality time with him, and so she headed for the door.

The hand around his throat was too much, and all the memories he had been fighting so hard to keep at bay came flooding back. He struggled against her for a moment, knowing it was a pointless thing to do. She could overpower him in an instant should she truly desire, she had done it before. Bowing his head and trying in vain to ignore the icy hand pressed against his overly warm flesh, he spoke, unable to look at her.
"I have no choice do I." Stated coldly. Not an acceptance of her terms, nor him playing nice, he had simply come to realize that this was the only way and had begun doing the only thing he could now. Bracing himself. His terror seemed to have faded with his resignation that there was little hope, and the taste of freedom he had gotten would only make it all hurt that much more.

*Her eyes drifted from him to Daegonna, watching the girl sadly. She'd never wish Ice back to life... but... she didnt want the girl so down, or upset.
Gabriel pulled her back to the present, and things she COULD do something about.*
You are mine, Gabriel, and there will be reprocutions for daring to remove my mark from you. But you already know that. You will be my raven again, this I swear to you.
*Snapping her fingers on her non-neckgrabby hand, she smiled as shadows came to consume them. Next stop... the second level basement*

He'd wasted enough time, between being a playtoy and going off on his hunts when she wasn't around he was wasting time that could be used to be more productive. He had everything he needed. He was dressed in black. a black dress shirt over a red one, the dress shirt was untucked and only buttoned partially up the front, hanging over his leather pants which covered the tops of his leather boots. The shirt was dull, a heavier material than most, Also under the red shirt, a beater of black that matched his over shirt was there. under the shirt attached to his belt was a small set of lock picks. His guns and swords were no where insight. "I still don't see why she chose ME to do RECON and NOT do DAMAGE." he muttered as he lifted the pendant. "Ah well, I CAN It's just not as fun..." His arm cast down the pendant, shattering it on the asphalt in an alley outside of the halo. When the portal formed he stepped through.

*The portal would lead him to... a hill. Green, lush, verdant, sloping down with a gravel drive cutting it in half, all the way down to the perimeter of the zoo below.
Guards patrolled the outside, the walls were topped with rolls of barbed wire, and as this was America, it was a fair betting people were armed.
All was quiet, the hill was far from the zoo and the portal hidden from sight by rocks littered over the to of the hill. Only one who kew where it was woudl get back through it*

Reign would hop up to the top of the rocks to look down at the walls of the compound. "Too easy..." Then he'd let out a hoot and wait for an owl to come. One would come, that's all he wanted. It's fate Was destined to help him. The summons would be unmistakable, gently pushing the owl to come along. As he waited, her would study the wall with his perfect night vision, one of the perks to being gangrel. He didn't doubt that the guards were armed but he doubted they'd be able to kill him. A smile forming on his face as he lit a cigarette, shielding the flame from view.
By the time he drew near the end of the cigarette, a fluttering would reach his ears. An arm would raise for the Owl to perch on. A simple common owl, gray in color would land and he'd bring it down to look in his eye so that he could commune with it Stay still, it'll be over soon. The owl would c**k its head before He tossed his cigarette to the side grabbed it with that hand and brought it to his mouth, His fangs would push through the dense feathers to the meat of the bird and he'd drink, drain it, then toss the feathery carcass aside before his transformation began.
Not too long after, another owl would be seen flying over the walls, high enough to not be noticed as something other than a natural owl, and for all intents and purposes, it was. It's eyes would scan the ground, seeing perfectly well in the night as he headed for a building.

*The complex was large, laid out with wide spaces for the animals. Some buildings were clearly dedicated to the enclosures they were attached to but many other buildings were nondescript. Some could be toilets, or food stands or other unimportant places, some were research buildings.
The center of the zoo held one set of buildings all together, there was another set near the entrance and a final set against the back border of forest. Many of the builings were unlabelled*
