Jackie tucked the radio back into her standard-issue belt. The static was beginning to hurt her ears. I can't catch criminals if I can't hear the reports... Never mind the fact that I have to climb a sycamore to catch a freaking signal!
She hopped down from branch to branch, making it half-way down the tree before she heard voices below.

"PSsssh, I'll be FINE~!" Luna said, walking a bit faster to prove her point. "Hopefully we can run into her...or some other officer...Heeeeey~ANYONE HERE AN OFFICER?" She called out to the group.
Nine quietly followed, watching the two carefully. She was quite used to catching her trainer now, the girl fell over so often it was almost a daily occurance.

“At the very least, you’ll be able to mock me after I die. I’m well assured that just about everyone I meet plans to outlive me for that very purpose. It’s rather nice, I think. In fact, I bet you’ll be laughing at me right as you’re killed. At least you’ll die happy. I’ll just die embarrassed.” Which was one of his least favorite emotions, right up there with despair. Oh, he so hated despair… And hunger! Alright, so that wasn’t exactly an emotion, but it was rather difficult to keep them separate when you really thought about it. Just a bit of hunger could affect a person’s mood in a most unduly manner.
His fingers stroked his chin for a while, judging her performance in return. “Actually, that is a pretty good imitation,” he admitted grudgingly. “Incidentally, my favorite treat was paint chips. Mmm… delicious wall candy… I would say this probably explains a lot about me, but it really doesn’t, does it? And I totally deserved more than three stars for that. Didn’t you notice the extra ‘guish’ that I used when I languished like that? Pfft… women. They never notice the finer details…” Riiight… because he was totally the shining star of observation himself.
Damnit, but Effie made this all too easy! If he kept going, Alastair was fully aware that he would probably get himself smacked and he did hate that. It hurt! Pain hurt! And smacking generally meant pain unless you were being smacked by a kitten or something. But, at the same time, he couldn’t stop himself. “Marks? Ohh… I see…” he winked at Effie and nudged her in the ribs slightly. “You’re a biter, ain’tcha? I should’ve guessed. But, I insist we keep this a perfectly platonic relationship.” He made googly eyes with shocking excellence. One almost expected little bubbles to appear, as they so often did during moments like this in manga and anime. Perhaps some mysterious ribbons would have been appropriate. But, of course, nothing of the sort happened.
“Anyway, do you have any ideas on how we can lure out a few ghosts? Or are you too busy being shocked by my glamorous self?” he struck a pose, wishing that he had some random sparkles to throw into the air.

 While Hea was enjoying the Pecha Jam, she was unaware of Ebba becoming interested in the head at the end of Hea's tail that was 'eating' too. Unforunately for Ebba, the little head has a very small brain and was aware enough that it was in danger and bit Ebba's tongue.
Hea jumped slightly as the little head alerted her of it's danger and she turned around in alarm. "Brrriiiing!" Hea's eyes widen when it was Ebba who was the 'danger' that she relaxed a bit before explaining. "Brriinng. Briiing, Brii, briiiing." (My tail is not for eating, silly. It will bite back as you can tell." Hea made a choltting sound deep in her chest as if she was laughing.
Kayla shook her head furiously. "No thanks!" She took a deep breath to see if the smell had finally aired out and it was now clean air or as clean as it can be. "If you want to try that experiement, I will be miles away and you can call me to tell me if it's worse than giving Ebba the milk or the Pecha."
Kayla watched as the houndour woke up and she smiled. "This is your new pokemon that you caught in these attacks?" Kayla crouched down, putting her makeshift saddle next to her. " She is very pretty."

Bouncy_Pineapple Whatever the Pidgeotto said was just a bunch of squawks and chirps to Piney. She batted the paper shreds out of the way as she recalled Era back into her Pokeball, so more trouble wouldn't be cause. At least she hoped so anyway.
"Ok, but they shouldn't be stealing food from the wagons! I can understand why Aero did it, since he was wild just a few days ago, but I had Era for a couple months and she should know better!"
Then again, she didn't exactly capture and train the Swablu the normal way. She still was a bit feral, but that only manifested as timidness before the trip. Piney wondered if being away from civilization would cause her to run away and become wild again. She didn't want to think about it.
"You could probably get some food yourself though, as long as you don't take a lot." She shrugged and turned to Aero. "And as for you! Where is Angel? Did you cover her in paper shredding too?"
"*Of course you will.*" Daybreak relaxed and curled her tail around Armageddon. Glancing for a moment towards the commotion between the trainers and Pokemon, she let out a sigh.
"*Do you know how Koori's doing? I haven't seen her in a while.*"((After dinner. XP)) "Well, I never expected Armageddon to do some of the things he's done. But I guess they all have a little bit of the wild still in them." Zen grinned, puling his backpack in front of him and unzipping it.
"Nah, I got my own food in here. I don't trust the stuff Luna and Jen would buy. Jerky?" He handed a piece out to her, tearing off a bit of his own pieve with his teeth.
"*Actually, Korri came, but Zen's been keeping her in the ball all this time. Poor girl gets hot easily.*" He sighed, leaning into her.
"*But she loves battling. She forces Zen to the stadium at least once a week.*"

Walking faster to keep up with the trainer, Jen spied someone jumping down from the tree but didn't say anything. Maybe it was just someone keeping watch.

Kira was not happy, not happy one bit. At the moment, she was currently curled tightly in a ball with her knees scrunched into her chest. Her back was pressed up against the dead tree behind her and she trembled a little. The whole place was spooky and she really didn't like it. And, to make matters worse, the wagon that had been in front of them in the trip had been pulverized and something had smacked her in the head while she'd slept, opening up a cut on her forehead.
Now Fuyuki was nowhere to be seen and Katie was refusing to come out of her pokeball. Kira didn't blame the Pachirisu for staying inside that ball though; it was far safer in there than it was out in these woods. The red-head whimpered softly as another howl could be heard; she didn't like this place at all.

Jackie peeked between the leaves of the tree. I think I know that voice...
Jumping out of the lowest limb, she jumped right into the path of a large black Ninetails. "You called?" she asked dramatically. "Officers don't usually fall out of trees, but I'll make an exception for you, Luna." she grinned. "And will you introduce me to your friend?"

Before Piney could reply back or take the jerky, she heard Luna's voice echo across the camp. She turned back to Zen and shrugged.
"I'll be fine. But now I think Luna and Jen either up to something or going to do something crazy. Maybe both. Come on Daybreak."
The Espeon smiled at what Armageddon said, about Koori. She gently pushed him off of her and ran back to Piney's side, hoping that she didn't see her like that.
"What do you two need?" She called back as she approached them. She also saw another officer, what was her name? She couldn't remember.

Adele sat by Kira, looking around with nothing but paranoia that they would be attack again. In the distance, he could see the familiar figure of white looking as dramatic as ever as the healer stood on the branches of a tree, looking out.
He wonder what he was doing for a moment before he turned his attention back to Kira. "I think we should shake Lock off his tree and have him take a look at you..."

"Woo! Jackie AND Piney! Aren't we lucky Jen?" Luna said to Jen while holding back a few chuckles. Well, looks like the chances of contacting someone for back up was high now!
"Do either of you guys have a radio and do you think you can contact the police base to get the Zatao committee to send a backup helicopter with food supplies? We don't want to be forced to eat random food from the wilderness after a few days~"

Kira peeked up from her curled up ball and looked at Adele. On her forehead, her cut had scabbed over and the entire area was swollen and red. She looked up at Lock, then shook her head. "No, I don't want to be a bother to him...."

"Aren't we? Ain't that the question!" Laughing and stepping up behind Luna, Jen tossed a light salute towards Officers Piney and Jackie. "Evening! And would ya be willing to? I know a buncha people really don't like eating mushrooms and berries mixed together." Jen shook her head and made the "nah-uh" motion with her hand. "Believe me, it's nasty! Don't try it."

 ((Sorry 'bout the wait! I said 10 PM though... it's 9:49 rofl xd ))
The sun had now set completely, the forest was even more dark, silent and ominous than before, and these are good bagels, thought Lamen. Munching on a bagel. Duh.
Well, it was about time they set off to the forest. It was dark enough for the ghost pokemon to be awake and at their most active. Now, to find them, as they had to be present here… somewhere. Of this, she was certain. Grabbing her backpack, Lamen walked up to Alastair and Effie, smiling. The familiar thrill of a challenge was there, but she was certain that with this team, they were out of danger as long as they remained vigilant. Especially her, since… well… she had no pokemon “It’s getting late. Alastair, if you want to, please bring a pokemon along with us- their instincts and night vision tend to be more developed than ours. So, you ready? Let’s go!”
With that, she began heading off into the Howling Forest’s tall, crooked trees.

Jackie glanced at the bag on her back, currently stuffed with berries and mushrooms. She scuffed her foot on the ground, thinking. These city folk don't know what they're missing! They probably are just eating the Petaya berries raw. She recoiled at the thought of its taste.
"Greetings! I'm Officer Jaquelin Rathven, or just Jackie. Who are you guys?" she said, changing the subject. "Shame about that accident yesterday. Are any of you from the wagon that was destroyed?"
