*With Bailey back, and engaged with Azrael, Roan's look turned slightly paniced, as if she knew this would herald the end of the summon. She felt his answer, and shook her head with sorrow for BOTH of them, and for Fenrir too. Fate was cruel.*
I would have helped... for both our sakes... and for his... I would have helped. When I saw the tail, the way he moved... Id have given anything to save him from having that debilitating disease. But this is ok. For this... I would have given you my original body to test upon.
To have you back and I in your place... I'd still give of myself.
*which was exactly WHY she couldnt go near him. The pact had been made with the old Magra, she couldnt touch him because of it. As always, he held out her hand to him, wanting just that one moment, that one second where their connection could reopen, no matter what the cost after. She alos knew he would never accept. She smiled, tearfully and spoke the only words that truly mattered before he would fade from her again*
I love you, son.
----------------------------
*In the mean time... Bailey didnt seem to be feeling Azrael's attacks - his armour was incredibly strong, and mere fisticuffs werent going to dent it, even WITH potence. But in the mean time he KEPT hammering at Azrael, whose clothing was almost GONE. And then, he started ladening each hit with fleshcraft, making bone under each blow brittle, infesting flesh with rot. He snarled ferally, and it was clear he was well out of his sane mind. If Az could get under his armour, Bailey would be like a soft shellfish, and easy to finish off, particularly as Dae's curse hit. For a while, he would be able ot fill the voice created on him by Bane virus and curse with his own cosmo, but it WOULD sustain him in the immediate. Azrael would pay, yes. If nothing else... just him. JUST him....*

*Azrael laughed aloud, overcome with a pure lust for the battle. His own fleshcrafting and healing abilities were doing the best they could to reduce the damage caused by each blow, and he snarled as his punches seemed to have no effect.
Now it seemed, was a good time. What he had been experimenting on in his room alone, scalpel in hand, hand come to some fruition. He drew his right arm back, much as before, but the gauntlet vanished. The skin on his forearm slowly began to glow, turning pure white, and he lunghed a huge punch at Baileys chest.
As the strike reigned in, Azraels Viccisitude would transform every cell in his arm, to that found within the physical body which most channelled spiritual energy. His fist extended into a palm, his fingers warped and shifted into a blade, his entire arm now a conducting rod of pure spiritual energy.*

*testament to the forges of hell, Baileys surplice didnt INSTANTLY break. It held form for about two seconds, skittering the energy to one side slightly and then... the chest plate gave up the ghost. It fractured and SHATTERED unde rthe blade, exposing one side of Bailey's chest to the blade. He roared as it sank into his flesh, then pulled Azrael into him, grabbing both his arms before throwing himself backwards to the floor so he could use his legs to hurl Azrael over his head, taking the 'blade' back out of him, with luck. As Bailey woudl hit the floor, a rupture would occur, shooting blades of stone skywards with the hope of impaling Azrael as he flew over Bailey's head.
He was running out of time against curse and virus, so he didnt hesitate and turned to go back after Azrael again*

Daegonna watched intently, looking for openings to use. Unfortunately, they were both moving too quickly for her to cast spellfire into the mix, and she was not about to saunter down and try to join the fray. Daegonna brought another spell to mind, one she was not overly fond of because it tended to have...explosive results, and dismissed it just as quickly. She didn't want to employ any magic that might hurt Azrael in the process, and most of her spells were geared towards handling crowds, or at least fights without allies in the middle of ground zero. The Daemoness weighed her options, and turned again to her necromancy. She reached out with her mind, tendrils of consciousness creeping out over the ruined land like a cold dark mist in search of any allies she might call. She found a few spirits nearby that still sang with the lust for battle. Warriors who had fallen before their time, no doubt. And so the girl called them to battle. Their enemy was the one who had ravaged the land, and desecrated the tomb of Narok, he was an offense before nature and more than half of the gods of every pantheon. They were only too happy to march forth, and lash out at Bailey with icy and intangible blades, untroubled by his armour. The blades left chills that numbed muscles and crept through veins, and they danced and hacked, not at all bothered by the fact that they could not draw blood. And then...then the girl found something interesting. The bone scattered about the fighters was from Bailey's armour...and yet...It was dead. She was a necromancer. She grinned, and reached out, beckoning the remains to come back to life, to come and join the dance. Icy wind whipped about her as she summoned the dead, rather curious to see just what she was bringing back to life. Would she regret it? ...Maybe...

*The appendage would not leave the body however, even as Az crashed upside down into the ground, entwined with Bailey. He had not expected the first blow to be so powerful, a silent credit to himself he supposed. As the appendage had entered Baileys chest, the fingers split apart again, and Azrael grabbed at a handful of spine, gripping anywhere else he could manage if not successful.
He placed his other hand on the ground, tilting to avoid one of the spikes full impact, it merely tore a small chunk from his waist. Roaring into the face of his enemy, blood dribbling freely from his mouth now, he attempted to mount him, keeping grip of his body from the inside. He raised his free hand, and delivered a punch similar to the one before, aimed at the face.*

*Snarling in frustration, Bailey tore himself away, fleshcrafting his bones around Azrael's hand, barely escaping and losing precious power and blood all the while. Ghostly hands and blades pushed at him as he gave up the last of chest armour to escape Azrael, immediately jumping back in to again beat at Azrael, his fleshcraft fully unleashed. Almost as powerful as Ice with the skill, he smashed at Azrael's barely covered body, howling as bone rats clawed at his own back, only to be vaniquishe din bursts of his cosmo over his skin, pulverising them.
But he was weakening. Each hit held less power, though no less fleshcrafting ability, and he was beginning to cough up blood. He was not long left for this world, and thus he added what was left of his cosmo to his blows. Each would explode within Azrael like potent little bombs, reacting with his own energies to tear at his flesh*
You... will.. hurt...
*Each of these wounds at least woudl heal human slow*

*Azrael pushed back with all his might, his power seeping out of every wound as it occured. HIs teeth gritted hard as a few cosmo laden blows landed, his skin exploding open under their impact.
In his maddened state, Bailey was not going down to his blows, despite the fact he was clearly dying. It seemed one last burst was needed to put this mad dog down. Taking a large step back and skidding on his heels, Azrael pulled his hand up to his forehead, flashing an evil grin, before pulling the hand over his face, the twisted two tone bone mask appearing below.
With a shockwave of air pressure the beast roared into the air through clenched teeth, and then his head titled to the left and he stared at Bailey. The boney teeth creaked apart, and as the maw opened wide in an insane glare, a long purple tounge snaked out, tasting the air.
The look in his eyes was filled with insane energy, his ecstasy and being allowed precious moments of freedom once more was most evident. Then, with an explosive flash step, which cratered the ground he had been standing on, he appeared before his opponent, his clawed hand performing a palm thrust at chest level. As the blow neared however, energies crackled around the hand, so that as the arm reached its 'snapping' point and the arms momentum stopped, an orb of crackling spiritual energy would explode outwards, in an effect not unlike punching a man while holding a live grenade, but in this case, it was a massive build up of spiritual energies...

*Bailey stood gapsing and anting on the floor, one hand held to his already wounded chets as Azrael gained space. He knew he was dying inside him somewhere, but the berserker mentality that had overcome him wouldnt give in.
As Az charged him for what woudl be the last time, you coudl SEE Bailey's bones moving to his chest area to defend himself, but as he did it Bane markings were consuming his body. He coughed up another lungful of blood and sticky bile, tainted wth the virus, then... Az hit him.
The blow savaged his chest as it exploded on him, his bone nowehere near strong enough or thick enough to stop it doing REAL damage. Faling backwards, Bailey landed on the floor, breathing fast and shallow. His life was literally flowing out of him, one breath at a time*
This... is ok. This is power worth leaving behind. I'll never forgive you, you know. He was my everything. My brother. My family. My lover. My friend.
*Eyes turned back to familiar coffee brown slid to Azrael as he spoke*
He was a bad man, but.. so are you. So are all of you. Its only...a matter... of time...
Tell the girl...he loved her. How I envied her that. I grieve with her, always. Finish it.
*his skin looked sallow and greenish as he winced in pain. The curse wasnt helping any, weakening a body ravaged by one of the worst diseases known and smacked to all hell by a powerful warrior. He chuckled, blood bubbling in his throat. This was an ok end*

*Peeling back the mask, it vanished into dust, and Azrael stepped forwards. Isoda drawn and pointed into Bailey's face, Azrael shook his head, thumbing back the hammer. A shimmer of light ran down the crystaline blade, as the gunblade came to bear.*
"Good or bad, I don't care, these words are meaningless to those such as us. However, he hurt my family, you hurt my family, and that, I do not forgive..."
*A surge of energy ran from his shoulder, fire snaking down his arm, across his hand, and into the revolver chamber of Isoada. As his fingers pushed out against the winchester style reload handle, the chamber clunked round, a Haemox shell now awash with Kagus energy clicking in place. He pulled the trigger, the shot being more like a beam rather than a blast as it roared from the barrel. The energy tore through the air, towards the centre of Baileys face, shattering it like a gooey red watermelon.
Slowly, he raised the barrel to his lips, blowing away the stream of smoke. His eyes closed and he savoured the sweet moment, his energy still crackling heavy around him.*

Daegonna made her way towards her brother as Bailey finally died. She hadn't struck the ending blow, but it didn't bother her. She had served her family well, and she had a lot of food for thought, now. She bowed her three-horned head, leaning closer to listen to the last breaths rattle through Bailey's ruined chest, a mess of glistening white bone, coffee flesh, pink meat, and black ichor. She hadn't heard his last words to Azrael, and it was possible that was just as well. Daegonna stood beside her brother, changed inside and out. She looked down at her taloned hands, and retracted the long, cruelly curved claws. Her long tail flicked from side to side like that of a satisfied cat. And something in those odd sapphire eyes looked it. She looked like the cat that had not only eaten the canary, but most of it's relatives. The grief and rage that had permeated every thought were gone, leaving her with only her satisfaction. The wind picked up again, and Daegonna realized that between the acid bath and the clouds of fire, being turned into soup with all her insides on her outside, and then reconstructed, she was bare-a** naked. She sighed. "Can we go home now?" She asked, voice disturbingly...undisturbed. "I want a shower."

*As the blade levelled with his head, Bailey started ot laugh, the sound bubbling with his own blood coating the back of his throat, enough to drown a human. But he laughed and laughed, even as Az pulled the trigger and ended his wretched life.
Blood poured out of the remains of his neck. Like someone had attached a suction pump, blood poured and gushed ou of him, while his body ashed from the feet up, leaving crumpled surplice behind to show where he had lain, then that too started to vanish in flaked pieces.
More blood than one body could ever had contained now COATED the crater. It was seperating into veins. It was also delving into the ground. ALL around those who remained.
tick... tick.... tick....
It was familiar. Roan's eyes flew wide, and despite the fact she knew if she moved Corbin woudl be gone when she looked back, she darted across the crater, grabbed Dae, her Seer armour flowing over her and crashed to the ground, protecting Dae with her body as she flung power up around them. Az was on his own, but Ascended as he was, he'd be fine, right?
BOOM.
It seemed Bailey had done the impossible. When Corbin had taken his mind and made him mortal... HE had stolen something from Corbin. Under the earth, everywhere Bailey had touched in the fist fight with Azrael - which was quite a bit of distance, and everywhere the blood reached and delved into the earth, mines of energy were set and charged. And now they went off. All nature of elements, everything save holy damage. It was going to hurt like *********

*Azraels eyes widened, and as Roan rushed for Dae his energy swirled up around him. The nightshade gaunlets formed and he shielded his face with an 'X' shaped guard. He roared in pain as the area around him blew itself apart, and he was lashed with energies. His screaming continued until the sounds of the blast were gone, and all fell silent.
As smoke began to clear, all of Azraels body hissed with steam. With his guard up to protect his face his arms were stripped almost bare, skeletal with only the minimum ammount of muscle left to hold them together and be just about useable. The gauntlets of course, were unharmed. Half of his torso was burnt badly, the rest of him covered in cuts and bruises, deep gashes and the signs of internal breaks.*
"Ok..." He chuckled, "that really hurt..."
*Dropping to his knees with a thud, his skin attemtping to regrow, albeit very slowly, he sighed. Looking up to the sky he smiled weakly, it was over. His entire body relaxed, with a tired groan, eyes narrowing as he felt the uncomfortable crunch of broken ribs.*

Daegonna studied the blood as it flowed out of him, flowed in ways it oughtn't. She was just starting to piece together that the blood was going somewhere specific when she heard rapidly approaching footsteps. Then suddenly she was planted, facefirst, on the ground. Armour flowed over Roan, shielding Daegonna as well, and a shield of power flew up around them. Daegonna figured out what was going on about the time it happened. The explosion was impressive. She shamelessly curled into a ball, letting Roan shield her. The DeSeer matriarch was armoured, undead, and stronger to boot. She'd be fine. Daegonna was small and mortal and mushy. She wasn't likely to take the damage quite as well.
And what about Az?

*Slowly, Roan stood up. Her armour was scorched and burnt and as it fell away, her back was a mess of burns, sections of flesh actually cooked to the point it fell off. Dae for her part should be heated, minorly burnt, but mostly fine. She didnt seem to notice her own wounds as she went over to Azrael and knelt by him*
You ok?
*She glanced at Dae also, meaning the queston for her too, but Az was the more wounded*
Its over. They're gone.

Daegonna got to her feet, and dusted herself off. She was fine, except for some minor burning. She looked up at Roan, and winced. "That looks painful." She said nodding at the wounds. Then she saw Azrael, and her eyes widened. "Let's get you two home..." She said moving over to Azrael's side, kneeling across from Roan. She held out her arm, indicating he could lean on her if he needed help getting up. She didn't answer Roan's question, not seeing any need. She was fine, as far as she knew.
