I don't care if he has fifty-eight children to feed, Eye for an eye.* Ali groaned as he tried to stand up, ending with him falling back in his chair. seemed like his body was telling him to stay put for some moments.*

"Please, please remain seated. Even your body is telling you to stay put. Just .. sit there for a while. Do you want whiskey?" she asked, trying to cheer him up a bit. "You can get your revenge another day."

No I....* Ali leaned back and eventually lay back down, taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly.* I'm fine.

She looked to him with a bit of a crooked smile. "I could pester you greatly right now .. though .. I will not because I wish you well and want for you to be well." she said with a giggle.

* Ali closed his eyes for a moment, rubbing his forehead gently. Damn his head hurt. He could handle a lead pipe slammed against his head and the like but a metal object sent out at a insane speed could penetrate his skin. Unlike Yawg Ali's body didn't withstand steel.* Then maybe you could make this massive headache vanish.

"With magic .. yes .." she said softly, gently placing her fingers on the side of his head, away from the injury, determining the wound as well as where the pain was being felt. Sending a gentile magic to that area to lessen the swelling, she knew his body was healing already and the headache would soon be entirely gone, even without her magic. "That will help."

Yeah, Guess healing onesalf with magic isn't all cheating...or ell it is but sometimes it's acceptable.* Ali groaned a little but smiled as he felt the pain decrease slowly, feeling his arms being able to move more freely. He was going to find Wolf and repay the kindness, family or not.* Wolf is an old friend of mine, back from when I was little. Didn't think he'd try to kill me for money...must've been desperate. He didn't say anything else since you probably ran into him?

"I did not allow him the opportunity to do so. I very .. very nearly ended his life right there, promising his ill fate if you did not recover." she said looking more angry than he would have ever likely seen her - the expression on her face mixed with the anger in her voice would show to him that she was dead serious about her promise to have killed Wolfe had he killed Ali after all. Slowly her mind moved on slightly, continuing with the conversation. "Aye, his words, his body .. all spoke of great desperation. Had he not done such a disloyal action .. I would have offered to help him and his family."

Right....Maybe I've been a bad influence on you...* Ali had a slight nervous smile upon his lips, he'd seen Ziven upset and angry but never pissed off. It was always a first but unexpected from her. Not to mention she would have killed a man. She probably wouldn't if she hadn't been around Ali when he went out and about, bad influence no doubt.*

She was more serious in this statement than ever before in her life as she had never truly had anyone to care about in this way before.

I'm supposed to be the angry, violent one. Not you.* Ali smiled a little and slowly stood up from the couch, getting into a handstand and starting to lower and lift himself up with his arms only a few times. Dropping himself to his feet afterwards and nodding in approval.* Besides If I die I don't want anyone to seek revenge because of that.

"Your head .." she began but knew it was too late. Between getting up and standing on his hands, his headache would surely return with a throbbing reminder that his arms were not the only injury in his body. She watched him with a sympathetic expression though she tried not to, it was his own damn fault he wanted to push himself too far too fast. She bobbed her head a bit to what he said. "I understand .. though .. I do not agree. I am allowed to feel how I care to in regards to my friends and as I am one without true allegiance to anyone, I may do as I wish to anyone as my own justice." she said softly, drawing her knees closer to herself, hugging around her legs, looking to the floor, not making eye contact with him.

"I will miss you, my friend .." she said softly, determined to get her point across though she did understand what he said. "Had it been in battle .. it would be different, I would not seek any resolution, you and the other party would be engaged in the fighting. Or if you were killed by an unknown person .. I would not research to discover who had done it. I suppose it is impulse to defend you more so than revenge .. in the moment .. I wanted to .. so very much .." she said softly, frowning now, lowering her head more.
