I can see the infinite worlds theory becoming a new religious philosophy some day.
After all, whenever I'm having a bad day, I can think, "I'm being worshiped as a god in an infinite number of universes right now."
As long as one doesn't consider the fact that they are also dying in an infinite number of painful ways in an infinite number of places at that same instant, it works great.
Also, the religion could collect money towards researching interdimensional travel--so that one could meet one's best self.
It'd be the new Scientology.
