Whitewind nods respectfully to Showerwisker as he sits down.
"How is everything? When do you think Stormkit will be ready to be apprenticed?" he asks, a hint of pride in his voice as he always does whenever kits or apprentices are about to recieve their new names for the clan.

"Everythings fine. Yes, very soon I believe." He meowed with a
slight purr of pride. "Stormkit will make a good apprentice."
Showerwhisker meowed, curling his tail over his paws.
His Golden eyes glowing at Stormkit who was with Tigerpaw.
"Now all we need is a Mentor." He meowed.

Whitewind nods, flicking his ears happily and turns back to the kit, still speaking to Showerwhisker.
"I thought you guys already figured that out? Oh well, nothing good comes from rushing. I'm sure you'll find a good mentor. There are a lot of young warriors who wouldn't mind giving it a try." he says, humor is his voice

Showerwhisker luaghed. "I'm sure." He meowed with something hidden
in his voice. His golden eyes turned back to Whitewind.

Whitewind nods ignoring the look in Showerwhisker's eyes and gets up.

Showerwhisker nods as Whitewind leaves.
He looked down at the ground, studying it for no purpose.

Showerwhisker then looked up again at the sky.
((hmm, I'm not sure..I'd have to find a list,
and the mentoring is going kind of, odd right now...
hardly any active warriors. O.o....))

Rainpaw got up and decided to explore the camp a bit. First, she walked over to the fresh-kill pile and selected a starling to began eating it slowly.
((Yea.... People ought to be more active It's more fun with active people))

Showerwhisker looked at the sun beginning to fade as the sky was turning
pink. It was time for him to leave. The deputy stood up, ready to make
the journey. He padded to Whitewind. "You are in charge while I'm gone."
He meowed. The deputy was going to get his nine lives and his new name.
He began leaving.

Showerstar Later returned, he had his nine lives, and his new name.
There was something different about the Tom. He looked wiser.
He padded up to a large rock, and gazed proudly over his new clan,
His golden eyes glowing in the dark mist of night.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan
meeting." His voice rang out, surprisingly a little different than normal.

Showerstar looked over his gathering clan.
He raised his head. "I have come back from my journey to the moonpool.
I have been given my name and my nine lives." His voice rang out.
"Now that I am leader we will need a new Deputy. I have thought carefully,
may Starclan approve of my choice." He meowed. His Golden eyes
looking to the sky for a moment. "Silentcloud will be the new Deputy."
he meowed.

There is movement at the back of the throng of cats as Silentcloud steps out, his dark black coat glistening in the dim light. He raises his head proudly and stops by the Highrock.
"Thank you Showerstar. I swear I will do what is best for the clan, and up hold my position well."
Whitewind, who was sitting relatively near the front, narrows his eyes at the young warriors last statement, finding some hidden message there. He sighs and pushes it aside. 'Showerstar made a good choice.' he told himself as he yells out the new deaputys name, making Silentcloud stand taller.

Showerstar nodded to Silentcloud. He jumped down from the Highrock
to among his clan. "Get a good rest tonight." he meowed to Silentcloud.
His Golden eyes kept a steady gaze to his new Deputy. He padded into
his new leader's den.
He felt strange not being warmed by the other cats around him.
He padded to where the cold stench of Echostar was.
He lowered his head to the lost Leader. He curled up there,
his Golden eyes dancing. He didn't go to sleep yet though.
He laid there, staring at the wall.
